In case you are a new listener, we will be doing spoilers during this podcast.
So, you know, watch the movie if you want to find out what's going on before we spoil it for you.
Hello! And welcome to another episode of WhereWulf Ambulance. I'm Alan and I'm joined today by my co-host Katie
Hey Alan. Hello Katie. How are you? How are you? How are you?
How are you? I'm doing all right. I'm doing. How are you? I'm all right. I'm doing. I can't complain?
We also have a special guest with us today our friend Tobin. Hello. Hey t't complain. Winter's been a bit of a bear.
You know.
Oh, apologies for our last week's episode, Mix Up.
I was dead and a ghost and we couldn't record grabbers as...
I was going to take a bunch of nightquil and record it that way, but we ultimately decided
that it's probably not the way to do it.
No, I don't think so. So that'll come up in a couple weeks, I guess.
Yeah, hopefully.
We'll get drunk and then do that one later.
Yeah.
But this week, Tobin brought us a movie.
Do you want to tell us about it?
Well, we just finished watching American Mary.
It's a Canadian horror movie, directed by Jen and Sylvia Soska, the Soska Twins of Twisted Twin Productions,
and stars one of my favorites,
Catherine Isabel.
From Ginger Snaps fame?
Mm-hmm.
And she plays Mary Mason, the character Mary Mason,
who is a surgical student,
who is having some financial issues, yeah.
And a robot, as far as I could tell of her.
Yeah, she, yeah, her emotions are kind of, I don't... th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi, thi, twin. thi, thi, twin. twin. twin, twin, t. t. t. t far as I could tell. Yeah, yeah, her emotions are kind of, I don't know.
She's very deadpan.
Mm-hmm.
Well, in the beginning she wasn't, like,
she was pretty robotic from the beginning.
Well, she just got like, you know, just thrown into that hole.
Well, even when she was in class, the first day she was just kind of like, theirs, there's there, there, there, there, there, there, there, there, there, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, to thi, thi, to thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, to to thi, to to to to to to to to to to to to to thi, thii, thi-a. thi, thi, thi, thi, of like, there's hebo globulin, blah, blah, blah.
It seems like she's trying to live up to expectations of, like, her professors or the other surgeons.
And that one, Dr. Grant, he's a real asshole.
Dr. Grant is one of her professors who, you're right, it's like a complete dildo.
And he keeps telling her how surgeons don't have the luxury to be sorry, and surgeons
never mess up.
And he apparently had just learned the word fuck because he used in every sentence.
He's edgy.
That was really annoying.
Yeah, it was weird.
I guess you're just supposed to be like this, this man is like 100% dildo. He's pretty flat character otherwise. And did it it it it it it it it it it it it's, and did it, and did it, and did it, and did it, and th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, he's, he's, he's thi, he's thi, he's thi, he's thi, he's thi, he's thi, he's the the they, he's apparently, he's apparently, he's thi, he's thi, he thi, he thi, he th. He. He, he th. He, he th. He, he. He, he. He, he. He, he. He, he. He, he. He, he. He, he. He, he, he th. He, he th. He's, he's, he's thi, he's thi, he's thi, he's the a thea. He's theea thea thean thean thean thean thean thean the a th Yeah. And did it seem like he emphasized when he said the word fuck to you,
the fucking, like he-
Fock!
I have a note that he was edited in from like an Italian horror
film from the 80s, because it seemed like he wasn't delivering
his dialogue in English and somebody was just ADR and that shit in
later. I wouldn't have believed it. And he just gazed. He just sort of, he had that like, Freddy Prince Jr.
and I know what you did last summer, just gazing into the ether, you know?
Acting.
Yeah.
So, To one was just telling us right before we started recording that, the twins
who directed this movie, their parents took-
Yeah, they took out of extra status in the movie.
And the twins also appear in the movie.
Yeah, they're the demonic Germans.
German? Questionably German?
Those accents were fantastic.
They sounded like extra from Indiana Jones.
I kept thinking they were the nihilists from the Fuglowski.
We believed the accents.
They weren't even doing the same accent, I didn't think. So from different parts of Germany.
So basically the movie is, Mary finds herself sort of thrown into this world
doing extreme body modification surgery.
She starts doing it as a way to make money,
but then starts doing it as basically revenge after the most disturbing scene in this movie.
Yeah, trigger warning. Yeah, it seemed, it was disturbing to a degree that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that in this movie. Trigger warning.
Yeah, it seemed it was disturbing to a degree that like it felt like it was in a different film.
Like it seemed like the tone was totally different than before or after.
Like.
It, I was worried about the gore in this movie because I get the oogie boogies.
But the gore was like pretty...
Is the technical term for the Gore was like pretty... Is that the technical term for them? That's the surgical term.
It's Oogie Bookies.
The Gore like wasn't very stressful,
but this rape scene where Dr. Grant rapes,
drugs and rapes Mary is like so long and so upset it.
Yeah.
Well, yeah, and like she wakes up and he's like sleeping in bed next to her.
Yeah. They, well yeah, and like she wakes up and he's like sleeping in bed next to her. Yeah, yeah.
Yeah.
That's the whole, well the whole thing, because she made mention of it when she's working
on him, getting her revenge, that she thinks that they thought she got into prostitution because
there were other women there that were, you know, the one, the thrown. And it was all weird because it was all behind thi thi thi thi was all all all all all all thi was all thi was all thi was all thi was all thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, thi, thi, like, like, like, like, like, like, tho, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, thi, thi, thi, thi, like, like, they, they, like, like, like, like, never saw the other women like she either like the one going into the other
room with the guys like she just like was turned distracted by what was it was
Dr. Black the really yeah Dr. Black was he was a mother fucking mother
fucking mother fucker yeah and then she was basically drugged at the time when
we see the woman laying on the counter, you know, with a nice circle jerk going on.
Yeah. It was really upsetting. Is that what surgeons do? I think so. I think that's what you do when you have money.
I know the doctors are dickens, but yeah. It was just like you just go to eyes wide shut parties and that's all their... Yeah, they's just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just the the the their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. the is to do it. Yeah. Well, they always say surgeons are kind of like the jocks of the medical world, so. Yeah, I believe that.
They need to get their kicks off some way.
Yeah, that was really, yeah, I just felt like it tonally was so much, so much different
than the rest of the movie.
Like, yeah.
Yeah, I can't watch people get the eyes. Oh, so brutal. I have a note that just says Tobin. How good you do this to us?
But there are, I mean, the rest of the movie is like kind of funny, I would say.
There's a lot of funny moments.
There's some really good, I'm surprised how good the movie was overall.
Yeah.
I had, unfortunately, I had very low expectations coming into this.
Because it was made because of when it was made because of the one it was made. It's Canadians no one's trust me. No, because I don't know. Yeah, because it was made after 1986. I don't trust anything made
after 1986. I know. And it was on Netflix, which you generally mistrust. If you're not
a British cop drama, I don't trust on Netflix. There's so many good British cop dramas though. It's true. It's so many good British cop dramas throws thas thas thas th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's thii. It's th. It's th. It's thi. It's thi. It's thi. It's that' that' that' that' that' that' that' that' that' that' that' that' that' that' that' that' that' that' that' that' that' that' that' that' th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's. It's th. It's th. It's th. I th. I th. th. I th. I th. the. I the. I th. I don't th. I don't th. I don't th. I don's true. We started a podcast about that. Yeah, I had initially found, came across this movie at work.
It like came through our department.
Yeah.
Came through our department and then I checked it out.
Didn't watch it, had to return it and then I realized it was on Netflix.
Yeah.
I was also pretty drunk the first time I watched this movie.
And I definitely like when when it like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like over just kind of like fist bumped in the air
There were really good comedic parts. There were like what's the the main actresses name again Catherine Isabel yes, she was great
Two first names don't trust any like she was great in the gender snaps movies too, but like this like she she had like a weird like?
She was like a weird like Laura Palmer quality to her. It also like a weird like fran. Hucker quality of th, they were like, the the the the the they were like, they were like, they were like, the they were like, the the the their, their, their, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, what, what, what, what, what, what, what, what, what, what, what, what, what, what, what, what, what, what, what, what, what, what, what, what, what, what, what, what, what, what, what, what, what, what, like, like but like this like she, she had like a weird like Laura Palmer quality to her.
It also like a weird like Frankenhooker quality if that means anybody.
Of just being like this weird like, she got very animatronic at points that was just
very weird.
Yeah.
Yeah, detached, I don't know.
I mean everyone in this movie needs therapy.
We can agree right. I know I'm th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, thi, thi, thi, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, th., thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, like, like, like, like'm a huge proponent of therapy but like everyone needs it. I think Lance had his shit together. I don't think he was
he was the one who caused me to write the note therapy for everyone in this
movie please because he was... Why don't you describe who Lance is? Lance is her man the strip club? the filth? I think it's called Bourbon a gogo. Oh, the the the the the th. th. th. th. th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th thance thance the the the the the the the thian thian thian thian thian thian thian thian thian thian thian th is th is th is th is th is th is th is th is th is th is th. th is th is th. th is th. th is th. I th is th is th. I th. I th. I than thannenenenenenenenenenene the the threat threats threats threats threats threats threats threats threats threats threaten threats th strip club the filth is that the name of the strip club? I think it's called Bourbon a go-go.
Oh, there was just the big neon the filth.
Yeah, I wasn't sure about that either.
Where this is the, the strip club is where Mary first gets introduced to underground surgery,
I guess you could call it where she.
Billy Barker, actually, that was a shout out or an homage or a nod to Clive Barker. Oh, okay. Oh, it was, oh, Billy Barker was the guy who ran the club.
Okay, nice.
The knockoff, Mark Ruffalo.
You was, he was referring to his Nark Ruffelow.
So he's, he's some kind of like low rent gangster and they've roughed some guy up
and Mary comes in to initially answering like a Craigslist ad to be a stripper or a masseuse or something. Or like some kind of
entertainer at a gentleman's club. She wasn't actually supposed to strip or
anything. It was like... She hands the guy her resume for this Craigslist ad, which which was funny. That was funny. It's like, it's a today. that's a the. thrific. their. their. their. their. their. their. thin. thin. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. they. they. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. they. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.................................................................................................... the. the.. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the... the. the. the. the... the. the.. the. Yeah, on her resume it mentions that she's in medical school and he's like, got a lot of school in here.
Well, she's like, massaging him.
Yeah.
That's what it was like when I interviewed up Brueger's Bagels too.
Well, that.
I wish you had just started floor punching.
After this movie ended, I just kept punching in my life. Because you were enjoying the like, like, I don't, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, I, I th. I th. I th. I th. I that, I that, I that, I that, I that, I that, I that, I that, I that, I that, I'm, I'm, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, like, like, like, like was like library new metal music when you're listening
to, it was like, I don't know, lump biscuit and there's a new song.
I kept expecting a Marilyn Manson song to pop in.
Would have been totally appropriate.
I know, I'm still a little bit weirded out like she's kind of in like financial trouble
needs the job, but she is so reluctant to do like you know she's so reluctantly
sexy in that scene where you know she has to like you know take off her jacket
show off the stuff you know the stuff
I think that's reasonable that's fair that works and when she's like
walking around she's kind of like you you know, very, what is it?
What is it called?
You know what?
Reluctant.
Yeah, but she owns more lingerie than anyone I've ever met.
She had no point in this movie wears a real clothes, like a clothes that's appropriate for a situation. It was awesome. Yeah.
She wears like lingerie, tube tops, evening gowns, and body contresses.
That's like literally her entire wardrobe.
She does not wear it, wear jeans.
Yeah.
No jeans.
No jeans.
No sweats.
She did have, well, she did have leggings on.
I miss that? When she met Beatrice is a character is a character, th is a character, th is a character, th is a character, th is a character, th is a character, th is a character, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th. th. th. th. tha, th. th. thi, thi, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. that that's, that that that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's that's toea. that's toe character a woman who's been body moded to look like
Betty Boop what is with the Betty Boop thing? I don't know if this is
How she felt on the inside. Yeah, she felt that's what's the same? Yeah, she felt that's what's the same? Yeah, you know what's the same? I guess but what's the sex She was a cartoon in the 40s. But what's her? What's good about her?
She's a sex symbol with a huge head.
Yeah.
I don't know.
Does she have something?
Does she just just sex?
Yeah, yeah.
That's all she loves.
I didn't know if there shitty tattoos that you see in like locker rooms at
gyms. At off hours. I might see a Taz tattoo. You can see a Betty Moon tet.
There you go, yeah. So at least we can come together on Tweety Birds. Unissex tattoo. Yeah.
So Beatrice comes to Mary to have Mary help her with a friend who wants a very particular
kind of surgery.
Ruby.
Ruby real doll?
Ruby real doll, yeah.
Yeah.
Was that that woman's real face or was that a prosthetic?
Those were prosthetics.
At least as far as like Tristan, istin Risk played Beatrice and she yeah
that apparently took like two hours to put on. Yeah more trivia for my MDB.
Oh no no Ruby real doll wants to look like a real doll. She wants to have no
nipples and Linnea Quigley crotch. I was just about to say her vagina looks
just like Linnea Quigley's in return to the living dead. They like pan down to it
and I was like that's so weird there it is. Maybe that's a nod as well. Yeah, I mean
it is a crotch nod and that yeah that's a thing that happens in this movie. And she does it like they offer her 10 grand to remove this woman's thlanabububub. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. to to th. I have th. I have th. I have th happens in this room. And she does it like, they offer her 10 grand to remove this woman's labia and take her nipples off.
Doesn't blink.
Oh yeah, yeah, I'll do that.
Yeah.
Let's do it right now.
Let's go.
At a veterinary clinic after it's close.
With dog x-rays hanging up after her.
There's the floor. Between her high heels, which like why would you not wear sneakers? But oh yeah, I think I made a note about that. Something non-slip. Oh I think
I made some comment about like sensible she was not a modern insurgent's
concern. No, no modern. She has heels every time she's you know. That was like,
and I made it actually well in reference to Billy but I guess we can go back to that.
Yeah. It seemed like towards the end, because he's having that fantasy about Mary and she has a scalpel and stabs him.
Like there's some weird, like, fear and desire conflict going on there. Yeah. Because he does develop
this like weird obsession. Yes, He definitely does. Yes, very quickly.
You could hit weird a little harder.
Why don't you just describe the singing noun?
All right, so Billy's getting the beager from a nice young lady.
Nice young woman.
Who does not deserve what she gets?
And Mary walks in on him while he's getting this, this beager, a blowjob, if you will. As an adult would say. the. You, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, the. You, the the the the the th, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you th, you can, you can, you can, you can't, you can't, you can't, you can, you can't, you can't, you can't, you can, you can, you can, you can, you can, you can, you can, you can, you can, you can, you can, you can, you can, you can, you can, you can. You th. You can, you can. You can, you can. You can. You can. You can. th, th, th, th, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. the. the. the the thi the the the thi can't the thi can't thi this this Beijer the blowjob, if
he will, as an adult would say. The surgical term is the Surgege. I thought Beecher was
a Surge to be right. And I need a Beecher stat.
Oh! Oh! Oh! And Mary walks into him getting this blowjob looking pretty bored while he's getting
the blowjob and bored while he's getting the
blowjob and then he sees her and immediately ejaculates.
So much so that I just went, huh?
Like Tim Allen?
Fuck?
Not, huh?
I can't do the Tim Allen noise, damn it.
No, you can.
There you go. So much, like, she, he immediately ejaculates the nice lady, spits out his jism and I'm just like, and, and, and, and, and, and, like, like, like, and, and, like, like, like, and, and, like, like, and, like, and, and, like, like, and I, like, like, and I, and I, and I, and I, and I, and I, and I, and, and the, and, and, and, and, and, and, and the, and the, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, like, he immediately ejaculates the nice lady, spits out his jism and I'm just
like, what the fuck is going on?
But that is, he gets his weird, like, this super immediate obsession with her.
But then you're right, that it does become sort of intertwined with like a fear of
that she's going to kill him.
And she asks him, do you think I'm crazy. Like, he's like, he's like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's, he's like, he. the the the the the the, he. the, he. the, he. the, he. the, he's, he's, he's, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, think I'm crazy? Like, obviously, yes, right? Like, you're obviously fucking him.
He's looking like, side to side, not making eye contact, you know, it's like, uh,
well, there's different, something sexy about a woman who could murder you, that's
kind of, that's gotta have a little, uh, really?
Yeah, I'll put it out thu. coming to your front door to murder you. I'm your sexy murder lady.
Yeah, that was really weird.
But then she also like attacks the woman that was bead, what happened?
Why? Why?
That was my, and like I made, said in the movie, that was like my favorite scene because it was so...
That wasn't necessarily a funny scene, but it was so deliberate, you
know, she's just pulling these like, you know, knives out of her jacket, like, you
know, kind of like really like forcefully putting it on the on the metal
counter to kind of really freak her out and I think she would have gone
through with it if it wasn't for the camera and I think that was
probably something like I felt like that I thought that if it wasn't for the camera. And I think that was probably something. Like, I felt like that, or I thought that I had something to do with like when,
like during the rape scene, because she was videotaped.
So.
Oh, I thought the thing with a camera was she wouldn't,
she wanted him to see that she could do it and stopped.
Oh, I to this
lady.
So she was just kind of, that's what I got out of it.
But yeah, maybe it could work on both levels, yeah.
I just thought she was a nut bar.
But she also, at no point prior to this had established that she had any interest in Billy like no and then like am the guy comes as soon
he sees me I really like that yeah I felt like I felt like she should have
more self-esteem than that yeah we also sort of figure it's like I mean she
she was she was raped so it's like you know she's very emotially aloof yeah
and kind of closed off after afterthat particular scene, of course.
Yeah.
Yeah, it's weird because when they were sitting at the bar
talking about Los Angeles, it almost in a way felt like a first date.
Yeah, it's super weird.
And she was very cold, very like stoic in the scene.
Yeah, like he was trying to reset their relationship.
Let's just start this over again.
Let's pretend I didn't.
You've killed somebody, I've killed somebody, you know.
I ejaculated on my sight.
Let's run away to Los Angeles together.
Yeah.
And then her grandmother dies and then that's it.
She deletes her.
Deletes her from her cell phone.
Yeah, it's a long movie too. It was epic. Yeah, the first half. It, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. I, th. th. I th. It was epic. Yeah. The first half,
it definitely flows a lot better. And then the second half, and there's a lot of foreshadowing
with the door. Well, no, she makes that comment about like surgeons can't afford to make
mistakes or something. And then security guard walks in while she's with Dr. Yeah, that's true. I have the quote here. The adrenaline rush you get th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the adrenaline rush. th. th. the adrenaline rush you th. th. th. the adrenaline rush you th. th. th. the adrenaline rush you get the adrenaline rush you get the adrenaline rush you get the adrenaline rush. the adrenaline rush you get the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. It's, it's, it's, it's, it. It's with Dr. Gorman. Yeah, that's true. I have the quote here, the adrenaline rush you get when you cut into
human is like basically how I feel when I really nail a spreadsheet.
Apropos of nothing.
Oh, beard of blood, no, the beard of blood thing while she, he's having another hallucination or fantasy
about Mary.
Because I think Beatrice was on stage dancing.
And then it becomes like the lights flash or like lens flare, whatever.
And it becomes Mary and she ends up like reaching for a glass of beer and then pours it on herself.
But it's become blood.
Yeah. And it really looks like a strawberry daquiry.
Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah. It seemed.
The red wine blood during the first, or the rubies... th. th. th. B, th. B, th. B, th. B, th. B, th. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. th. th. th. th. Because, th. Because, th. th, th, thi. B. Because, thi. Because, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th. B, th. B, th. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. thi. B. thi. thi. the, the, the, thi. the thi. the thi. the thi. thi. the thi. thi. the thi. thi. thi. thi. th also. Yeah, yeah. It seemed kind of like the red wine, the red wine blood during the first or during... The nipple rubies. The nipple scene. There's...
that's oogie-boogie's for me. Was that the one that was too much? Um, it was a lot to see someone
get their nipples cut off. I thought for all being practical effects, the effects were really great. Yeah. It's like the first the the first the first the first the first the first the first the first the first the first the first the first the first the first the first the first the first the first the first the first the first the first the first the first the first the first the first the first the first the first the first the first the first the first the first the first the first the first the first the first the first the first the first the first the first the first. The first. The first. The first, the first, the first, the first, the first, the first, the first, the first, the first, the first, the first, the first, the first, the first. The first. The first. The first. The first. The first. The first. Was. Was. Was. Was. Was. Was. Was. Was. Was. Was. Was. Was. Was. Was. Was, was, was, was, was, was, was, was, was, was, was, was, was. Was. Was. Was. Was. Was. Was. Was. Was. Was the. Was. Was. Was the. Was, was, was, was, was, was, was, was, the. nipples cut off. I thought for all being practical effects, the effects were really great. Yeah. The first guy that you see that she does the first
surgery on like look, his eye was gone. Yeah, it was gone. It was pretty sweet.
Yeah. Yeah, I really, I thought it was really good. There was another note I made
about comparison between like Dr. Grant and Mary like at the party he, you know, makes a comment about like, you know, be forgiven if the work is good and she said something about...
You mean in life too or something? Yeah, and basically, I guess basically about like personal integrity,
like she's kind of on this, you know, dealing with this like personal integrity versus professionalism and
that that guy, that first guy that she performed on, like, there was actually like a weird, like, like oddly touching moment when he holds like, he like, he like, he like, gripping her arm. Yeah, and she's like,
she's like saying shh-shh. But she's keeping him alive so they can beat him up more. Right.
Exactly. There were a lot of really nice, like, compassionate moments in this film of just like, a lot of films would have made Beatrice a punchline. Yeah. Like, thi the the the the the the the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi, thi's, thi's, thi's, thi's, thi's, thi's, th. And, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, thrush, and she's, that, th. Yeah, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, like, like, like, like, like, like, through the entire thing and it was like may have been my favorite character in the movie like she was
really awesome like other than the one the one dude who had his tongue split and
is like making like tongue at her the whole time that he's talking to her like
I thought everybody was treated like really well oh yeah penis guy oh yeah I think he was acting like he was acting like a he he he he he he he was a a p he was a p he was a p he was a p he was a he he was a he he was a he he was a he he was a he he was a he was a he was a he was a he was a he was a he was a he was a he was a t. he was a t. He was like. He that's because he was acting like a dildo. Well, did you see what she had done?
Like he'd gotten some body mod to his actual genitalia.
I couldn't figure out what the body was.
I just said, yeah, I couldn't.
I think this was after he had tried to masturbate and then irritated the area.
I see. And she was giving him the antibiotics for that. There were a lot of things in this movie where I was like, I don't know what I'm looking at. What is that? Oh, let them not pass without us mentioning that they went out for titties and shrimp.
Yeah. There was a woman at the end whose nipples were in the shape of hearts. I didn't know that was a thing you could do. That's pretty cool. I think that's just tattooing th. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. I. That's th. That's the the th. That's the the the th. That's the the the th. That's thi. I. That's the the the the thi. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I. I. I'm. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. I'm. I'm. I the. I. I pretty cool. I think that's just tattooing though. Oh. Well
whatever. Well maybe she had like very big like aerial, wait that's the right
term right? Yeah, yeah. Okay. That's the surgical term. Big Aryola. Yeah. I think it's like
shape it up a little bit. Maybe. Oh baby, yeah. I think he said oh baby yeah. This episode is
getting super weird for you.
Like when a woman can break me and drink beer and have heart-shaped nipples, baby, yeah!
What is that how you interpreted everything that I've said?
Oh man, people do you sound like jerks no matter what we're saying.
It's true. We also do just watch a movie where every man is basically a jerk except for Lance. Except for Lance. Sensitive murdering Lance. He's not, yeah,
he's not the, he's probably the only male character that's either not trying to rape Mary or protect her,
like she's some victim. Right. with that detective and with Billy yeah
yeah yeah pretty protective yeah because he he abducks Dr. Walsh oh right
unbeknownst to to Mary and finds the finds the video tape yeah and then like
seemingly jerks off to it well I think he got really upset about it did he yeah
yeah I don't know he was just too little like overlapping
laptop scenes. Okay. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. He's, Lance is the only male
character with the footage from her initial interview. Uh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Like I had a Brueger's Bacos. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. He's, um. Lance is the only male character with any depth. All the other male characters are completely one-dimensional. Whereas the female characters have a lot of depth to them. Yeah. For the most part,
yeah. So tell me about these directors. I don't really know much about them.
Oh, the Saska sisters? Yeah. They're a couple of Canadian ladies. They are, what are their first names?
Jen and Sylvia? they're known the movie that got them notoriety was Dead Hooker in a Trunk.
Yeah.
Have either of you ever seen that?
No.
And I actually tried to look it up last night and ended up just watching the trailer, which
that movie looks interesting.
Like I'll probably, I will definitely try to watch it at some point, but it was done on a budget of $2,500.
So, if that could, yeah, I haven't seen either of those.
They have a short in the ABCs of Death.
I never made it very far into that.
I never touched at all.
I think I got to like D.
Yeah.
That's in the, I think, the second volume. volume and they're currently, oh no no no I forgot I forgot did you guys
hear about painkiller Jane? No comic book that's being made into a show or
movie or something they're gonna direct the film adaptation of that. I read a
couple interviews with them today and two things about the interviews
one they have this really great story about being 10 years old
and they'd always gone into like look at the horror movies in the video store. Finally at 10 they convinced their mom to rent
Poultrygeist for them. And they went home and they're like we could take it, we
could take it, we could take it, and they're like oh that was great and then
they're like well fucking terrible. That a woman runs for office and they're like,
well, what are you wearing?
Yeah.
And like, this was like, so you're women.
So, you know, why are you making horror movies?
And she's like, go fuck yourself.
Why can't women make horror movies?
Like, yeah.
It's a really dumb question to ask somebody.
Like, I had a really, thu. Just the just the they wouldn't ask a dude that they wouldn't be like what do you did you watch our movies growing up? Do you love horror movies like
Yeah, of course you do yeah, that's we're making them. Yeah
I was offended by it bum me out. Yeah
I just don't like the way women are treated most of the time in the media. I think that's that's a reasonable stance to take that's a reasonable stance thance that that that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's I I I that's I that's I that's I that's I that's I that's I that's I that's I that's I that's I that's I that's I that's I that's I that's I that's I that's I that's I that's I that's I that's I that's I's I's I's I that's I that's I that's I I that's I I that's I I that's I that's that's that's that's thi I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi's thi's thi. I thia. I th. I that's that's I that's I that's I that's I that? We were talking about feminist horror movies recently.
Is this a feminist horror movie?
See, I would say it is, yes.
You feel it is?
Yes.
What about you?
You?
I'm looking at you.
You guys can see that, right?
I would think much more so than I would say,
Slumber Party Massacre was. We had a listener on Instagram suggested
movie called Bedeviled that she said was had like a good feminist bent to it
that would be interesting. So we should probably watch that at some point too
but I think that this yeah I would say so I would say the fact that like the way
that rape scene was handled the brutality of it like a lot I don't know I think
the feminist perspective on that was just kind of like, no, you have to watch this. You have to see how fucking awful this is. Yeah. Whereas like a lot of the
body trauma stuff had like a hint of comedy to it. This was like, no, this isn't a joke, this
isn't funny. I mean, I don't want to, you know, I don't want to sign anything there. And it wasn't gratuitous. There wasn't like any point where I was like, oh, this was,
yeah, you're not getting a secret owner.
No, no, no, no.
No, it was just pure brutality.
Yeah, it wasn't like a straw dogs or something where like, yeah, I know that boot,
yeah, who's like, yeah, I know that, that move. No, it's a, but, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, no, no, no, you're, you're, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, right. No, like I think even like an I spit under grave does and it's...
I can't watch that. Yeah, no. And as well, we shouldn't. I think I came across that at work
today. I actually, this is all my library taxes you came for. I'm so glad. I honestly, I sped under grave and last house on the left, I watched. Can't watch. the same reason I watch. the thrown. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the the the the the th. I the th. I thi. thi. I th. These are two like classic films.
Same reason I watched Cannibal Holocaust.
I knew I was not gonna enjoy that
because I know that animals are
throwns are, I'm gnaught that I'm gonna do it.
I gotta have to know what these this. I'm glad we're turning this into a feminist horror podcast. Somewhere
like 30 bros just clicked on subscribe. Well I like that it's a feminist horror podcast
that can also have a tidy bell in it. Yeah. That's true. That was good wasn't it? Thanks, Alan.
No problem. Yeah, I mean I think the treatment of women in this movie as then being in a place of power,
too, has sort of a feminist bent to it.
Where it's like, don't fuck with this woman.
This is what's going to happen, you know?
Obviously, that's the surface.
Whatever. Whatever. I read it on Jezebel. I mean, why did you were pretty adamant that you felt like it was a feminist film?
Is there something about it specifically that spoke to you as a feminist film?
The thing that kind of stuck out the first time I watched it was the, like, because that
detective gets involved to try to find Dr. Grant and at one point he calls her a victim because he knows about the parties
and everything like that, but she's not that it's advisable to do this to people, but I mean
she takes that revenge that, you know, into her own hands and it's violent and she's
using that to her advantage to kind of advance her own position in the
underground body mod community.
He's her training tool.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I loved that the revenge was.
I loved that.
Rape scene ends, revenge begins.
It wasn't like a last house on the left or something like that.
We're just like, all right.
Yeah. a half an hour maybe something will start on their advantage type and we'll stop. She becomes sort of a helper to people who don't have a lot of other places
to go to people who really want these body modifications and aren't able
to get them. She's an outlet for them. Yeah she's enabling that. I think that's really
beautiful. Yeah. People do what the fuck they want to their bodies who gives their shit. Right, they're going to accept the consequences and pay money for it, then let them do it.
Yeah.
And that voiceover at one point, she, what did she, like, expressing your most authentic self.
Yeah.
You know, who you really are.
No one's stopping anyone from getting shitty in the locker room at the gym? In one of the interviews that I read with the Saska sisters,
they were talking about how like people,
like if you're getting those like 3D implants to have horns
or whatever you're a weirdo,
but putting sheep fat into your lips is totally acceptable.
It's sheep fat?
It's just like pretty, yeah. thing but like people put fucking botulism into their faces. Yeah totally. And they're putting botulism into their armpits because they don't sweat anymore.
I was gonna get that but it just makes you sweat more other places and I don't
want to have like really sweaty hands and feet and butts. Don't put it in
your face. You can get it for migraines too as a migraine treatment. Well, I thought it was interesting.
This botulism really made my asshole sweat.
The Saska sisters, can we talk about their roles in this movie?
They're playing these German body mod...
Twins? Celebrities? Yeah, it's kind of like big. They're playing these German body mod twins.
Celebrities?
Yeah, kind of like big.
They've got pretty huge.
They've got those piercings up their backs which make it look like a corset.
Nope.
I just have this image of that getting caught on something.
That's what I thought about being on like a roller poster or something.
Or like, I don't know.
They're Germans and they're doing, the German accents as they're they're they're they're their their their their their their thxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxes as they're they're as they're they're they're they're they They're Germans and they're doing, the German accents as we discussed earlier are obismal.
It's basically us doing German accents, like, act-all!
Like, nope.
I didn't feel like it was an M-Night Shamelon thing,
where they were, like, it didn't feel like super hokey to me to have them in there.
I was fine with it. I thought they did. I thought they were having fun with it and I enjoyed that. They do have the novelty too of being twins and being able to do that. It's not like it was just
a single person, being really self-indulgent. Right. I mean it is kind of self-indulgent, but
why not? You're like, their parents mortgage their house for this. Yeah. They're getting their left arms switched. Yeah. Which American
Mary says, hey, that's not a problem. Yeah, I think it's kind of, is it a problem?
That's got to be a problem. Probably a lumbly attachment. It's probably a limb.
Reattachment. Yeah, and also just like. Because she's not a micro surgeon.
She's not like, and the mangulov. Manga loving, surgical partner. That guy showed up. That. That. That. That. That. That. That. That. That. That. That. That that. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I was. I was. I was. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. It was. It was. Yeah, th. th. th. Yeah, it was. Yeah, it was. Yeah, it was. Yeah, it was. Yeah, it was. It was. It was. It was. It was. It was. It was. It was. It was. It was. It was. It was. It was. It was. It was. It was. It was. It was. It was. It was. It was. It was. It was. It was. It was. It was. It was. It was. It was. It was. It was. It was. It was. It was. It was. It was. It was. It was a. It was a. It was a th. It was a th. It was a th. It's probably. It's probably. It was a th. It was a th. It's probably. It was a th. It was a th return. I kind of wanted to be like, you know, you can't hit me with that serious ass rape scene
and then have Nazi doctors show up. Dancing like dancing. Yeah, handing her a
bone saw. So the Suska, the the twins, the the twins, they hand this drawing to
Mary for her to model them on and you don't see it until after their surgeries are done and it's
this amazing like eighth grade math book like trawling of a devil woman or something.
Yeah. They don't look anything like it when they're done.
She didn't make them look like that at all, but it was fantastic.
Yeah, like a bony spine and like just, like throached on a rock like, like the back, have a D&D book like. Or like, like, like, like, it, it, it, like, like, it, it, like, it, it, like, like, like, it, like, like, like, like, like, like, it, like, like, like, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it's the the th, it's th, it's th, it's th, it's th, it's th, like, like, like, it's th. Like, it's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th, it's, it's, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like rock like like like have a D&D book like
or like the sister in the basement in a pet cemetery or something like that.
But it was hilarious. Yeah they could get there I mean you know more surgeries.
Yeah you know work on that. That's a really positive attitude.
They'll get what they want. Yeah. You're a big proponent of the body mod community.
Yeah as a person who has like, you know, only gauged ears,
slightly gauged ears, no other piercings and no tattoos.
I am very supportive of the body mod community.
Oh, when they walked into the club and she...
They have...
They have...
They have teeth filed, and one of them lures one of the dancers to the edge of the stage and
starts making out with her and bites her tongue off? Yeah. That tongue which I think had
previously been done by Mary to be split which we had seen earlier and I was like oh that was her work.
Was that I think it was a different person? Oh was it? A similar hairstyle? Yeah, punk's all look the same to me. Yeah. And I. And I. And I. And I, that. And I, that. And I, that, that, that, that, that, that, th, th, th. th. th. th. th. th. thi, th. thi, th. th. thi, th. th, their, thi, their their their their, th, th, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their their, their their their their their their their their their their their their thi. Yeah, tie, tie, tie, the theeeat theeat teat teat teat teat te. thea, thea, thea, the. And starts the. And starts the. Yeah, I'm sorry. You know, punks all the same to me. Yeah, that was assault. She should have gone to jail. Yeah, I was real bummed on that.
Everyone was just like, oh, like even the owner of the club whose job it is to be like,
to like protect the servers, he was like, you guys. You know, it's like, those German twins again. You're nuts. You're like, those those those those those those those those those those those those those those those those the the the the German, the German, the German, the German, the German, the German, the German, the German, the German, the German, the German, the German, the German, the German, th. It's, th. th. th. th. th. th. She, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she. She. She. She. She. She. She. She. She. She. She. She. She. She. She. She. She. She. She. She. She. She. She. She. She. She. She. She. She. She. She. She. She. She. She. She. Those, th. Those, th. Those, th. Those, th. Those, th. She's, th. It's, th. It's, th. It's, th. It's, th. She's, was, th. She's, was, th. She's, th. She's, th. She's, th. She's, th. She's, th. She're hosting the Vottle Cup. I think it was like the whole fear thing.
Like, you know, it's like because they're, hey, they're twins.
Twins are scary.
Yeah, it's be real.
Are you a twin?
You're weird.
Jesus Christ.
It's a weird thing.
I'm sorry to the twin community. You're weird guys. They... They... They're often used in horror as like weird things,
the Shining Twins and... Dead Ringers, another surgical twin movie? Twins. Twins.
Twi-s, you guys are twa here on a on whereof ambulance.
Well, it's kind of like, you know, the something that's different or someone's that's different
and that drastically different, I mean, you know, quote unquote, that you make, that you make
those differences, you know, you willfully do that to yourself.
You know, there's an element of like, is there something wrong with you?
Yeah, keep a a wide birth. Am I? Yeah, it's like, am I okay around you?
When, you know, really, I mean, it's fine. But in the beginning, Billy kind of pulled Mary
into this world of when he asked her to do the surgery, there's like that once, once the German twins come around, they're like, it's like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, the, the, the, the, like, the, like, like, like, like, the, like, thii. thi. thi, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. pulling him into this world yeah he might not be all that comfortable with you know and she's
super confident in like meeting with them and yeah which Lance again he's
cool as a cucumber yeah he doesn't care let's Lance can see anything
doesn't matter Mary's death at the end. Mary is killed by the husband of the woman on whom she had performed
the doll surgery, the Linnea Quigley vagina surgery. I think the implication there is like the
man, the husband, it was sort of an ownership situation where he was like, what would you did to
my wife? You know. Because he killed Beatrice because he took her to the doctor. Yeah. And then wanted to, and the husband. the husband, it, it, it, it, the husband, the husband, the husband, the husband, the husband, the husband, the the husband, the the the the the the the the the the husband, the the the the husband, the the husband, the husband, the husband, the the the husband, thoom. the the husband, the husband, the husband, the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thoom. thoom. thoom. thoomooom. thoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. Beatrice because he took her to the doctor.
Yeah.
And then wanted to, and then killed the doctor.
I'm not sure where I was going with this.
Smash the patriarchy?
No, if I had a hammer.
Yeah.
She ripped out.
She ripped out of his throat with her mouth, which is the technical terror for ripping out someone's throat. You wrote house on me. It was kind of like a critical look at the male ownership of the female body, you know,
which I think plays into our feminist themes here.
Can you give this movie a numerical rating?
Do you want to go first? Yeah, even though I love this movie so much, I did think that the second half is like, it, is super, is super, is super, is super, is super, is super, is super, is super, is super, is super, is a, is super, is, is, is a, is, is a second half, is that a lot of people have had but still it's great I have watched
it what four times in the past year and you were married for Halloween I was
I was married Mason for Halloween I'll give it I I would give it like you know
a solid like eight out of ten oh nice I was pleasantly surprised by this I
I was nervous going into it because in my oogie boogie core thing.
But it was not...
I was not Paul that you're like, Katie's going to hate me after this.
It was not as bad as it could have been.
It was really pretty, pretty manageable.
And I thought the plot was really enjoyable.
I really liked the characters.
I really liked it. I really, really, really took me,
yeah, I think I'm getting by surprise. Yeah, it took me by surprise and then it took me places.
Places I hadn't intended to go. No, I was also pleasantly surprised by it and and thoroughly enjoyed it. I agree that the second half is just sort of a disjointed. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thin, thin, thin, thin, thin, thin, took, took, took, it, it, really, it, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, took. Yeah, took. Yeah, really, took. Yeah, really. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I's, I's, I's, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm a, I'm a, I'm a. tote. totally, it's, it's, it's a. took, it's, it's a. took, it's a. took, it's a took, it's a took, really.the most part, but it was still, I didn't want to shut the movie off.
There was only a couple parts where I thought that it was dragging, but...
A little sloggy.
Yeah, yeah.
I'm gonna give it a six.
I would suggest to people.
Yeah, I would definitely recommend people watch this movie.
It's fun. I thin, I think, for having a brutal, for a movie, for, for, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, the, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, tho, to, tho, th, th, th. th, th, th, th, th. th. th. thi, I'm a, I'm a, I'm a, I'm a, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, th, th. th. th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, the, the, the, the, th.. And, th. And, th. And, th. th. th. to, t. to, to, to, to, to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. tto. to. to, I do, I do. And I would say that's pretty fun. What are we doing next week? Katie, we're going to be doing the 1980s classic anthology
film, Creep Show. Oh, nice. George Romero, Stephen King teaming up to make a fucking
fantastic, ridiculous film that I love. And it was a big part of my childhood. That's my
review. Thank you. to say anything bad about it or I will be fucking angry with you. No, I love it when you talk shit on the movies that I love.
Oh yeah, I can tell.
I really do!
Yes, we're going to do Creep Show next week.
