Werewolf Ambulance: A Horror Movie Comedy Podcast - Episode 316- Idle Hands (1999)

Episode Date: January 18, 2021

In this week's episode, we really try to find some joy in the 1999 teen horror comedy "Idle Hands." One one hand (pun FULLY intended) it does have podcast-favorite Seth Green, but on the other hand it... also has no plot. Other topics for your consideration include: greasy teens, weed as a superhero, an odd medium for songwriting, how much Sublime is too much Sublime (answer: any amount of Sublime is too much Sublime) and a visit from our old friend "Dragula." Man we do love Seth Green, though. Check out Episode 61- "Krampus," Episode 97- "IT," Episode 102- "Holidays," and his crowning achievement of Kenny Fisher in Episode 269- "Can't Hardly Wait."  Find us online: Support us at patreon.com/werewolfambulance and get bonus episodes about action movies Buy merch for yourself or those you love at www.teepublic.com/user/werewolfambulance on Reddit at r/werewolfambulance on Facebook at facebook.com/werewolfambulance on Twitter @werebulance on Instagram @werewolfambulance. werewolfambulance@gmail.com If you liked this, please leave us a review on Apple Podcasts or wherever you listen. Starting point is 00:00:00 You know what they say about a teenage boy and his evil possessed hand? What's that? You know what they say about a teenage boy and his evil possessed hand? What's that? You gotta keep them separated. Thanks so much everybody. Should we do a take to? No worry.
Starting point is 00:00:34 Do you have a better intro? That was totally noodles approved. Oh, fuck. I mean, noodles is a great name though. It's true, it doesn't fit the grandpa on guitar that that man is. I know. Oh God why are we talking about the offspring Alan? Because we're talking about the 1999 classic 15% on rotten tomatoes idle hams. Idle hams. Just sitting on a table doing fucking nothing. Slice yourself, ham.
Starting point is 00:01:07 Seriously, you came pre-cooked. That's why you're idle. You're spiral cut, mothucker. Does that mean spiral cut? It's just how it's cut off the bone. They spiral too. What part of the pig is the ham? I have a lot.
Starting point is 00:01:23 Well, how's the resident vegetarian? I assume it's the side. I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't, the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the tham, tham, tham, tham, tham, tham, tham, tham, th'm, there's nothing I know about ham. Well, how's the resident vegetarian? I can assume it's the side? I don't know, the spine. Who knows? The hocke. Were you surprised that Fred Willard was going to be in this film? A. Surprice? As surprised as I was that Vivica A. Fox is in this movie. I was wondering what happened to Vivica A. Fox while watching this. She's like almost exclusively in movies called The Wrong and Then a Noun, like the wrong babysitter, the wrong school teacher, the wrong post office.
Starting point is 00:02:00 There must be TV films and she's in every last one of them. Huh. Like at least 10 of them. I seem to remember her briefly losing her mind at some point. Oh really? In the early 2000s maybe? Like she was like dating 50 cent for a little while. Yeah, I could see that I guess.
Starting point is 00:02:23 Which did give way to the game giving me one of my favorite lyrics of all time. Anything is possible? 50 fucked Vivica. That's so mean. It's such a low bar for what you think the impossible is. You texted me and said that the opening of this was the most 1999 thing you'd ever seen? Oh yeah. Was that, that was before you saw the offspring playing at the school dance? For sure. I, the opening is like very gruesome looking and scary, like this is going to be a very scary film. Right. It's not. It's not. I cannot figure out the toad like this is going to be a very scary film. Right.
Starting point is 00:03:05 It's not. It's not. I cannot figure out the toad of this movie at all. I don't think they could either. Yeah. It's extremely gory. But it's also extremely silly. It's like lovingly gory.
Starting point is 00:03:21 It feels like what's that like where it's way over the top, but it's like so loving loving loving loving loving loving loving loving loving loving loving loving loving loving loving loving loving loving loving loving loving loving loving loving that that that that that that that that that that that Yeah, it felt almost like that like where it's way over the top But it's like so lovingly done that you're like oh, I get it. Yeah, this I went into this expecting it to be a much shittier movie than it turned out to be for me. I expected to be much better than it turned highly enjoyed Devonsawa's physical acting in this movie. I was surprised by it. Yeah, he's acting against his own hand for the entire movie. And he's like 12.
Starting point is 00:03:59 He is not 12. Just like those cops that are like, yeah, I was three years ahead of you in high school. And it's like, sir, you're 35. He's 17. Did you recognize one of those cops? I don't think I did. It's Roach from people under the stairs, the guy who lives in the walls. Oh, nice. Yeah. I love that movie. He's such a distinctively weird looking human being. So who is the Ford truck guy in this???? th. Is th. Is th. Is th. Is th. Is a very, th. th. thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, you're a very thi, thi, you're thi, you're thi, you thi, you thi, you thi, you th, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you th, you th, th, th, th, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. Sir, thi. thi. Sir, thi. Sir, thi. thi. thi. thi. thi, thi. that movie. He's such a distinctively weird looking human being. So who is the Ford Truck guy in this is a very distinctively weird looking human being? Jack Noseworthy? That's definitely a name you give the cops when you're high as shit and are trying to think of a last name. Absolutely. Finger bottom? Noseworthy.
Starting point is 00:04:47 Chunky-to-oh? When you say I am the Lord? He is also in a movie that we've done. Encinoman. No, he does look like an Encinoman though. He is in the film Encinoman. Oh, is he? What is he in?
Starting point is 00:05:03 He is in Event Horizon. He is baby bear in event horizon. That's right. I remember not really liking him in that either. But he like gets splattered or something, something like he gets exploded into a billion pieces or something, which I remember thinking was great. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. He's stuck in the airlock. Yeah. Yeah. He looks like he could have been the third brother on Tool Time. Tool Time. The, the, uh, what is that comedian's name? Is that Tim Allen? No.
Starting point is 00:05:35 Uh, home improvement. Yes. Yes. Yes. Tool time was a show within a show. And there were three brothers, which is why I was confused. I've never seen a fucking episode of that show. I just know that he looks vaguely like that Taylor Thomas boy and the other one. Yeah, it's like a Big Bang Theory, you know with the guy who says the thing. Oh, Bazinga? You talking for my man, Bazinga? I know that. I assume that's someone's name on the show.
Starting point is 00:06:06 There was a dad at Lucy's like toddler soccer practice. One of the other dads wore a shirt every week that said bazinga. And I just thought, is it your Wednesday shirt? It seems like if someone's telling a story and they're like, yeah, and then I hooked up with their, Bzinga! Yeah, yeah, yeah, it feels like an exclamation and a declaration. And then we were, you know, buzzinga. I'm so glad we could talk about Big Bang Theory show I've never seen. I've only seen it And why would you?
Starting point is 00:06:45 I've only seen it without sound at the gym. Oh my gosh. So instead we watched idle hands. But it did start with Fred Willard, and how can you go wrong with Fred Willard? Look, you want to know how you can go wrong with Fred Willard? Give him two lines and kill him in the cold open. That's how you go wrong with Fred Willard. Why was he only in this for like seconds? He was so Fred Willard in those seconds. Every line he delivers is just with that Fred Willard disdain. Can we do this cornucopia? What is a cornucopia? That wife is pretty annoying though.
Starting point is 00:07:28 Yeah. Their house is very ugly. And there are a bunch of like fake animals in the yard. And I just don't understand any of what is happening. Their house, like when she walks out of that hallway and it's just like that like forest green wall with the wood panel, I was like, oh, what is going on here? Why do you have like a gold padded headboard against your red wallpapered wall? I'm not like to HGTV or anything here, but I know it doesn't look good. Also, were we just talking about having to put a dog to bed?
Starting point is 00:08:09 Yeah. Yeah. In this movie, he's like, ah, the dog's out back and they're going to bed. And I was like, what happens to the dog? It just goes out for the night. That dog is the best. Duke. I have a known here that says I bet Alan loves Duke. He's such a sweet boy. He is a sweet boy. So mom and dad turn off the lights, Fred Willard and the lady.
Starting point is 00:08:30 Mrs. Tobias. Mrs. Fred Willard. Turn off the lights in the room and above them and in glow in the dark paint is I'm under the bed without an apostrophe and I'm which drove me insane. You have to pick you either put the apostrophe in or. He in the the the the the the the the the the the the to the to to to the to the to to to to to to the to the to the to to be in or you, to be to be the to be the toe the toe the the the toe toe toe. the the the the the the the the the the lights the lights the lights the lights the lights the lights the lights the lights the lights the lights the lights the lights the lights the lights the lights the light the light the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. th. th. tho. theauo. theau. toeau. toeau. toeau. toeau. toeau. toeau. toeau. toeau. toeau. toeau. the the the th an apostrophe in I'm which drove me insane. You have to pick. You either put the apostrophe in or you make it two words. You can't have it both ways. I'm under the bed? What does that mean? What does that mean? It's 1999. It could have meant I am as an instant message under the bed. But I did like this. I felt like this was a nice little creepy thing. Definitely. So then then th, then then then then then we then then then then we then we then then we then we then then then we then then we then we then we then we then we then we th th th th th th th th th th the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. You the the. You the. You the. You the. You're either thea thea thea thea thea thea thea thea thea the. the the th like this. I felt like this was a nice little creepy thing. Definitely. So then we meet Anton, who is like the world's most disgusting teenage boy, I guess. Also, any teenage boy.
Starting point is 00:09:15 Why is he so greasy? Why is he so? Why is he so? Why is he so? Why does he have the same haircut as Josh Hartnett in the faculty? Oh my god. The one more Josh Hartnett lost a bit. He's just like baby bangs. Sometimes sometimes Devonsaw was our longer. I will give him that. And then just like the hair that flips out just above the ear. Yeah, just little little little. Looks like shit. 100% does. But it's perfect for this character. Yeah. Walking around listening to his walkman in the house. Which I was also definitely doing in 1999. Not talking to my parents listening to a walkman for sure. Yeah. And then we see him uses inhaler bowl, which do you think
Starting point is 00:10:02 I like that? I think you 100% did. I really did. I love that he's keeping a bowl around his neck on a shoestring. I like that he carries it around his neck even when he's out of weed. Casey comes into weed. I also, it's granted it's been a minute since I packed a bowl. Later out of the movie someone packs his bowl, his inhaler bowl, and they just like stuff the weed in there? Isn't there like some artistry to what you're doing, a little bit of skill? You just shove it in there? Yeah, it's a bit like building a fire, which I say is a person who doesn't know how to stuff we have heard about.
Starting point is 00:10:45 Stuff we know just the bare minimum about. So Devonsawa goes looking for weed. And he tries to get weed delivered, which is a thing you can easily do now in 2021. For sure. But around this time, while the year 2001, I had a guy who delivered and took personal checks It was pretty great That's ridiculous. Yeah, you can be like don't cash this till Tuesday That is the riskiest behavior for a weed dealer. Yeah, I never bounced a check to my dealer though. Sure, why would you? Bounce the rent check instead.
Starting point is 00:11:33 That's just bad etiquette. Yeah. So his friends are Seth Green, who I think is absolutely spectacular in this movie. Chef's Kiss. Chef's Kiss. And the other guy. Elden Henson? Whom I know recognized from the Mighty Ducks franchise. Sure. Yeah. I don't know if you people may know from the third and fourth Hunger Games movies? There are that many Hunger Games movies. There are. I just watched them all. Why did you do that? Because I'd never seen them. How are they?
Starting point is 00:12:01 They're fine. Are they? They're fine. Are they action-packed? Yeah, for sure. Yeah, totally, yeah. Have you never read the books? No. It's all a battle royal ripoff. I'm not here for that. Sure.
Starting point is 00:12:16 With a, with a, uh, as it goes on, they become these revolutionary books of like fighting back against the evil government and stuff. That sounds pretty good I guess. Yeah yeah it's good time. Well fine in defense of what are the Hunger Games? It's gonna say Twilight not the same. But I have to say I think for our three main stars? Yeah, they are fucking brilliant together. Mm-hmm. I think they are, yeah. I think our third star is meant to be Jessica Alba. Who is just doing terribly in this movie?
Starting point is 00:12:55 She might not be a good actor. I, you know, I realized watching this. I've never seen her in anything else. I just know her to be Jessica Alba. Oh really? Yeah. That makes sense. The Sin City movie, which is another comic book movie. That might be it? No, she's got to be in other stuff. How is she so famous without doing work that we know? She's epically beautiful? She really is. I really also though know her as like the founder of a baby products company. They got sued for like not being up front about their ingredients, which I think is ironic because the name of the company is the honest company.
Starting point is 00:13:43 Whoops, a doozy. Yeah. I might have that all wrong. It's also a thing I know is the honest company. Whoops, a doozy. Yeah. I might have that all wrong. It's also a thing I know just the basics about. I love this episode. Yep. Explain the sun to me. Well, it's a star, see.
Starting point is 00:13:58 And it's hot. Well, the sun is a massive incandescent gas, a gigantic nuclear furnace. When I was little, I thought the sun was the back of the moon, and the moon was the back of the sun, and it turned around and went from day to night. That is fucking adorable. I was really stupid. No, you're a little kid. Anyway, sublime. They're listening to sublime. With sublime posters on their walls. I mean, they're into sublime. They play Santa Ria for the entire scene, which is, I don't know,
Starting point is 00:14:34 eight minutes. It's the long remix. Just keep playing it over and over. Well, we also have met Randy, the next door neighbor, who only listens to the song Shout of the Devil by Motley Grew. And as a result our protagonist's question mark Anton is like well he must know something about Satanism. Which granted any real metalhead in 1999 probably would have. That's fair. Yeah. But was he, I mean, he liked that Motley Cruise song, but he also just like was kind of a redneck otherwise?
Starting point is 00:15:09 For sure. We liked too many necklaces. Yeah, so many necklaces. Yeah, so many necklaces. That didn't seem very metal to me. Oh, yeah. Yeah, yeah. A lot. Jessica Alba riding that motorcycle and I think she's meant to look cool but she looks like fucking Mary Poppins.
Starting point is 00:15:26 Did you think that? I thought she looked extremely silly. So silly and they're like, oh, Josica Alba. And I was like, but why? She's writing lyrics with like magazine decoupage. I was like, oh, this is not a smart person. I can't remember what the title of the one poem was, but it had some big decoupage, like title and then was just a bunch of lines. There was nothing written there.
Starting point is 00:15:59 Like, I'm going to get that one later poem. This poem is called High School in My Opinions. They could not bother to write her as a real person, Molly. Oh, she's barely a human being. She is essentially like a blow-up doll in this movie. She's basically the only female character. Mine is Vivica A. Fox, who gets what, six lines? She is the John Goodman exterminator of this movie. But she's dressed like Jalo and Anaconda.
Starting point is 00:16:33 She is. She's literally got like khaki cargo shorts and a little came on. And she's 100% chewing every bit of scenery. Every time they get let her do anything, she does it with gusto. Like when she draws that pentagram map, the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. She the thememem, the th. She's, the th. She's, them, the th. She's, the them, them, them, them, them, them, the, thi, the the, the, she's the, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's th. She's, she's th. She's, th. She's, th. She's, th. She's, th. She's, th. She's is is is is is is the, the, the, the, the, the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the, the, the, the, the, the. She's theat, theat, theat, theat, theat, theat, theat, theat, the. She's ththey let her do anything, she does it with gusto. Like when she draws that pentagram map and goes, oh shit. I was like, I'm here, I'm with you, let's do this. And she has an airstream, which is also very cool. I will say that all of the female characters are like our knowledge of most things.
Starting point is 00:17:06 They are not very well studied, understood, or explained. Nope, they're just along for the ride. Because when she has to, when she finally reveals that she is the descendant of Druid priestesses? She says it so matter of factly. Like, I would love to know Vivica's backstory in this movie. She is such an interesting character. For sure. And Anton is garbage.
Starting point is 00:17:36 She's basically the Black Lady Supernatural, which is a hundred percent a show I want to watch. Yeah, totally. Black Lady's Supernatural. Poor buddy. So Anton realizes that he's killed his own parents. Yes. And he is remorseless about it. He buries them in the backyard and is like, well, I guess you're dead.
Starting point is 00:18:07 And it's like, well, I guess I'll root for you in this movie, sir? When he flames his parents hidden in the Jackalant American Gothic thing in their living room. He's like, huh? Yeah. He doesn't even scream. It's so spoo, that's so great having them come out of those jacking turns. I love that. Yeah. Then the cat is eating an eyeball?
Starting point is 00:18:36 Can I ask a question? Uh-huh. Will cats still eat your eyeballs even if they have food in the bowls, do you think? Um, I might wait until the food's done. I would hope so. That's all. Did you like when he goes to get weed from Pee-nub and Mick? That two amazing things happen? One, they're smoking weed out of that titty-bong? I love the titty-bong! That two amazing things happen.
Starting point is 00:19:05 One, there's smoking weed out of that titty bong. I love the titty bong. And two, Seth Green scratches his balls and then slowly brings his hand up and smells his hand. Oh no, I didn't see that. And then proceeds to eat pretz or eat cheese puffs and throw them in his friend's mouth with the same ball hand. I love it.
Starting point is 00:19:29 He's so funny. He's ridiculous. He's 25 in this movie and it shows. He gets so much mileage out of being tiny. Yeah, he really does. He's also just like so expressive. I could watch him do anything. Yeah, yeah. Love that guy. I felt the same way about Devonsawa, though. I feel like he is killing it in this movie. You really think so. I really do. I was really impressed with him.
Starting point is 00:19:57 Rubbing me the wrong way. You're probably just having flashback to shitty teen boys that you had to deal with. That could be it. I do have a th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I tho tho tho tho tho tho tho thin, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, the the the the the the the the th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. Yeah, thi, thi, thi, thi, to shitty teen boys that you had to deal with. That could be it. I do have a note here that says Devansawa's acting is like 90% puckering his lips, which I think is actually probably true. It probably is. Yeah. I have a question for you. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:21 Is Dragula the song that's been in the most episodes of this podcast? I think it is and I was very excited to see it. However, I have been watching this YouTube video of an 80s aerobics video set to Dracula over and over and over. So now every time I hear Dracula I just like imagine women with leg warmers like high kicking and men like snapping their fingers and then step kick step kick. So it's a very weird experience now. Isn't like how I watched that video of that woman saying they push me down and tased me or push me down and maced me to the animaniac scene a million times in a row? I really love that. I really love that. They push me down and tased me or push me down and maced me to the animaniac theme a million times in a row. I really love that. They push me down and maze me. And when the song ends she goes, ah! Another similar YouTube while we're on this topic is um
Starting point is 00:21:20 the single ladies dance set to the Duck Tales theme song. It is fucking perfect. We're going to watch it. We're going to watch it together after this, okay? Finally, Bob Fosse, Beyonce and Ducktails were all brought together. We do what we can on this show. Ducktails. Oh woo! Just you wait. Have you ever smoked nutmeg and
Starting point is 00:21:49 oregano and a joint? No sir. Okay, all right. Have you? No, did try to smoke corn silk when I was like 13 because someone told me it would give me high. How did it get you? Didn't pan out. No. Oh. So, we realize that Anton cannot control his hand. He suddenly realizes this. Because Mick, aka Seth Green, finds the clue of his ripped t-shirt and his dead mother's hand. That's right. But it has the hilarious Seth Green line of, he looks at the cloth, holds it up to the shirt and goes, the killer was wearing your shirt. They're so stupid. They're so stupid. So he goes to call 911 and Devonsawa stops him and
Starting point is 00:22:46 then puts a bottle basically through his head. And I was furious. I was furious that they were going to waste Seth Green like that after they wasted Fred Willard like that. Yes, but I also got excited because I thought Fred Willer was going to come back like Seth Green comes back. They don't really explain why his friends come back. No, well they do. They too. You mean that last scene? No, well they died and they were like, yeah, there was like a big tunnel and a light. It was really far away.
Starting point is 00:23:17 That's pretty funny. I will say that the practical effects in this are really good. Yeah. I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. that. Well, well. Well, th. Well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, th. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. Well, th. Well, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. I that, that, that, they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they that, that, that, that, that, that, that. I will say that the practical effects in this are really good. Yeah, I enjoyed a lot of the gore. However, I thought his hand would be like weird or something. Nope. It's just his hand. And that felt a little bit wasted to me too. For sure.
Starting point is 00:23:40 And it's not like, they don't even explain why something is going and possessing people's hands. Well, Vivica A. Fox kind of does because she says that the spirit of whatever this thing is looks for like the most total waste of space that it can find, which was apparently Anton Tobias. It was 100% Anto Tobias when he was trying to relive his memories with his friend. He was like, we got real high and watch TV. I guess that's what we did. Yeah, that's a little bleak. But this is the same scene where he's showing like totally unfaced by having murdered his own parents with his bare hands and then stuffing them inside a jack-o-lantern.
Starting point is 00:24:26 And then at that, I just can't find find him him him him him him him him him him him him him him him him him him him him him him him him him him him him him him him him him him to find find find find find find find find find find find find find find find find find him to find find him to find find to find to find him to find to find him to to then at that, I just can't find him to be sympathetic after that. Oh no, yeah, no, I never felt any sympathy for him. I just enjoyed his physical acting. That's fair. He is throwing himself around. He is. There was a scene where he like goes backwards into a kitchen counter where I was like, I bet that fucking hurt. Yeah, I bet he did it like six times, too. That's a much different thing to do at 17 than at 37. Yeah, that's true. Bounce back and all that. So he, yeah, he puts a bottle through Seth Green's head and then uses this like grisly ass saw blade to cut off his like, his head fell off! His head fell off!
Starting point is 00:25:06 I loved it. Yeah, for sure. Every time that happens in a movie, I just have to be like, do you know how hard you would have to throw a sawblane for it? Now, shut up, shut up, Brain. Just enjoy a movie. Just watch a movie. I like that being where this movie falls down down for th th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, and, and I thi, th. thi, thi, thi, to be, to be, to be, to be, to be, to, to, they, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, they. they. they. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, toooooooooo, tooooo, toooo, too, too, too. too. too. too. too. too, thi, down for you. Where you were like, no, I'm sorry, this possessed hand could not throw a sawblade that hard.
Starting point is 00:25:29 I mean, the whole premise of the movie is that your hand is strong enough to propel your entire body, which is simply not true. No one would ever fall off of anything. But it is, it is, there is precedent for this. Because Evil Dead 2, Ash's hand attacks him. And it's throwing him all over the place and beating the shit out of him. And there are these, there's this like, what is it called, the hands of Dr. Orlock, where a doctor like,
Starting point is 00:26:03 does like experimental surgery where he gives somebody new hands and their hands are the hands of a murderer and want to murder once they're on the new person's body. Which is also the theme of an episode of the night gallery called the hands of Borges Weems, which is where my internet personality comes from. Great. Thank you for that walk-down, um, hand memory lane. I can't remember my parents' birthdays, but... Well this is something you need to know. This point we're like pretty much all of the characters we've met are dead. Literally everyone except Molly and the two cops are is dead. And Devensawa of course. And Devensawa of course. So he has this scene of like killing his friends and then he just goes to
Starting point is 00:27:01 watch TV but he's like fighting his own hand for the remote, Which is like not as funny as the movie things that is. Is it because it goes on for way too long? I mean, you know I love a joke that isn't funny anymore because it eventually comes back around for me and this one just did not. It has to have been funny at some point. Yeah, right. That's fair. Because the hand wants to watch chiller chch chch ch ch ch ch ch ch ch ch ch ch ch ch ch ch ch ch ch ch ch ch ch ch ch ch ch ch ch ch ch ch cha the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the movie thia. thea-augheou-a thia thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. the the the the the the the f f f. thea. theea. theeea. theea. theeea. theea. theea. theea. thea. thea. thea. That's fair. Because the Han wants to watch horror movies, what's to watch Chiller Theater specifically? I wish for a Saturday Night Bee movie so badly. I guess I could just watch it, but I wanted to be on TV. For sure. I guess it's probably still a thing, right? I don't know. How would you watch it? You could have one of them antennas. Do you think any station is still broadcasting stuff like that?
Starting point is 00:27:48 I mean, like, I remember it's alive here, but that would be at like 2 a.m. Yeah, and that eventually moved online. Because it was on Me TV for a long time. Yeah. I loved to that show. Me too. It was a lot of fun. It was a lot of fun. It was silly. I'm so great. There was what I can't remember what movie it was but it had titties in it. So they put
Starting point is 00:28:10 Frankenstein's head over the boobs and just had the like Frankenstein's head moving around with the boobs. It was very funny throwing the cat like into the neighbors side of their house? It's really a bummer. Yeah, leave bones alone. But this, he throws it into the yard and he's then just like sad, his hand does it. So he wants to go find the cat because he loves the cat. And when he gets over there and he's looking at the bushes is when, Jessica Alve it the the the the the th th th th th th th th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the the. th. thi thi thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. the. the. thi. thi. I, thi. I, thi. I, throwing. I, throwing. I, throwing. I, throwing. I, thi. I, thi. I, the. I, the. I, th. It, th. It, th. It, th. It, th. It, th. It, th. It, th. It, the. It, the. It, the. It's the. It's, the. It's, the. It's, the the the thin, the the thin, the the the thin. It's, the the the the the the the the cat because he loves the cat. And when he gets over there and he's looking at the bushes is when Jessica Alva comes outside and she's like, hey, do you want to fuck?
Starting point is 00:28:51 She's so down to fuck. It's insane. When he ties, so she takes him to her bedroom, they start making out and his hands trying to kill her, but she's not not making out with him at that point. She keeps going. She does not notice he's covered in blood. He ties his own hand up so he can keep making out with her, which is the most teenage boy thing I've ever seen. It's disgusting. He has literally just murdered his parents and his two best friends and he's like, oh Booner. And her response says, ooh you're kinky. Her haircut is so 1999. It sucks. It sucks so bad. When he was during that scene I was like, if he kills her, truly we will have no other
Starting point is 00:29:45 characters. We're going to have to go to a different movie, movie, if you kill this lady. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, she's insulting as a character, huh? Yes, yeah, yeah. Was this her first movie or one of her first movies? Like I said, I know nothing of her career. Okay.
Starting point is 00:30:06 Okay. And you know we don't research. No. No, that would take the foot away from it. Yeah. Then we'd know, and I don't want to know. Talk to me about Burger Jungle. Burger Jungle is a jungle-themed burger place in which they keep a big old bowl of raw meat
Starting point is 00:30:26 right next to the dry through window because that's where you'd keep it. You know what this burger, what burger jungle made me ache for? What? Good burger. You know what can I tell you something I've never seen good burger? It's so good. Is it? Watch it for the first something I've never seen Good Burger? It's so good. Is it? I watched it for the first time like two years ago. It's so fucking good. I do sort of remember you having like sort of an epiphany over the film Good Burger.
Starting point is 00:30:54 It's one of Missy's favorite movies. I mean, I'll watch it. I watch it. I mean, it's thoroughly enjoyable. It's way more enjoyable even than this movie. Okay, wait, this movie I did not find to be very enjoyable. So he goes to Burger Jungle because he wants to talk to Randy about Satanism and find out pick his brain about Satanism. He says you listen to that satanic music all the time you must have picked up on something. And his all he does is put on the Burger Jungle shirt with his blood shirt exposed and a hat and everyone's like, well I guess you wear gear. Yeah, they like as if they would have not noticed him on this shift earlier. So what information he gets from Randy is that idle hands are the
Starting point is 00:31:56 devil's playground I think? Yeah. Mm-hmm. And that means that he needs to keep his hands busy and then they won't be killer, a killer. So what does he do to keep his hands busy and then they won't be killer, a killer. So what does he do to keep his hands, does he? He takes up knitting. Yeah. I liked that. I also really liked the knitting needle murder. I thought it was great.
Starting point is 00:32:17 When he kills the cop with the knitting needle. Yeah. Also I think watching murders happen to Dracula is very, very fun. Sure, sure. Yeah. Better than watching murder happen while your friends are watching two live crew videos. Yeah. Were you shocked that he didn't try to jerk off with that hand? The ultimate stranger?
Starting point is 00:32:42 You're familiar with the concept of the stranger? Is that like making your hand go to sleep and they're pretending it's someone else? Yeah, yeah. See, that seems weird to me because like, I mean for a variety of reasons, but what, I mean, what if it's going to come back to life and then it's going to be all pins and needles. Then it's a body swap movie. Did you see Freaky yet? I still want to see it. It looks like you can rent it, I think. Oh, we should do it at some point. Yeah, we should. I really wanted to see it when it was out.
Starting point is 00:33:11 It was like a time that it was possible to maybe see a movie? A what now? Go where to? to who? You could rent a theater, and, man? So Devenzawa tries to cut his hand off with a bagel guillotine, which I thought it was very funny. But then he really does cut his hand off with a hatchet and cauterizes it with an iron. I felt at this point in the movie that Seth Green was just like, fuck it, I'm going to do whatever I want. Yeah, I think he really was. It's, it's just, at that point, it's just, at that point. It's.... It. It. It. It. It. It, I. It, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, it, it, it, I, it, it, it, it, I, I, it, it, I was, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. t. t. t. t. tod. today, it, it, it, it, it, it's, it's, tod. tod. try, it, it, it's, it's, today, th. th. was. It's just, at that point, I just couldn't, it's, at that point, I was so shocked by that scene that like, it is really lovingly gruesome, but it's also just so stupid to experience. It's an enigma of this film. Oh right, if we didn't explain this, Seth Green and the other guy are zombified and have
Starting point is 00:34:10 come back and the other guy is headless, but the head is just like being carried around and put down and still talking, and I thought that was awesome. Yeah. I loved the headless bit. I loved it when it was like, you know, green screened onto the tables and stuff, but I also loved it when it was obviously like an animatronic head they were doing stuff with. Oh, it was so good. And when- And just having his headless body walking around, like in the background of scenes.
Starting point is 00:34:37 I thought it was really good and really fun. The headless body opens a cat of priggles and just just tosses them across the room. I loved when Seth Green was like, he's got sick of him being headless, so he just sticks a barbecue fork into the neck and then plops the head down on it. In that scene I had been admiring the headless bit and how much I was enjoying it. And then I thought like, I'll guess you guys ran out of CGI budget huh? Well they figured after they had to somehow get you to watch a burrito leak back out of his throat. Oh that was gross though. What was the substance of the burrito? Was it a poop burrito? I don't know. Do you think that Seth Green ad lib
Starting point is 00:35:22 the line where they... so Devonsaw West cut off the hand and put it in the microwave. To kill it. To kill it. They open the microwave, the hand escapes and they just put their burritos in and they just put their burritos and other guy says, what's the name, peanut? And the other guy says, oh and while we're at it, we can clean the whole fucking house. You definitely just did that on the fly.
Starting point is 00:35:48 Because he like turns around and sweeps his hands to show the whole house. I was like, you're such a good dick. So somehow Randy meets up with Vivica A. Fox. At the bowling alley, as you will. At the bowling alley. He's talking about how he he was he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he th just just just just just just just did th th just did th just did th just did th just did th just just just did th just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he was he was he was going he was going he was going he was going he was going he was going to to to to tho to that that that that that that that that that that that that tho tho- tho- tho- tho- th. Fox. At the bowling alley, as you will. At the bowling alley. He's talking about how he was going to go to the dance. It's a high school dance. He tells us he's been out of high school for three years. Why were you going to the dance?
Starting point is 00:36:15 Why is the dance happening when there's a serial killer on the loose? Well, if you'll remember when there there there there there there there there there there there was there was there was the the there was the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the thoome thoome thoome thi. the' to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to th.. thu. thu. thu. thin. thin. thin. thin. thin. thin. the. the. the. the the the the the the the the the the the the tooooooo got murdered by the serial killer, who turns out to be Anton. You mean the Feldman twins or whatever? Yes, the Feldman twins. And he's talking to the one girl and she's like, I thought they were stupid and ugly so him to go blow each other. And he goes, are you still in high school? And she says yes, and then he gets interested in her. So he's the Matthew McConaughey of this. He really
Starting point is 00:36:53 is with his like, he keeps talking about his Ford, his Ford truck. He's got an eight-ball key chain. Definitely had a chain wallet. Oh yeah. And some really shitty drawn-on tattoos. Like, if you think a barbed wire tattoo isn't already shitty. Imagine one done in ballpoint pen. Yeah. Peanutov. Is peanut-of because somebody mispronounced peanut at some point and that stuck as a nickname? Yes, that is absolutely what happened.
Starting point is 00:37:30 So somehow they end up at the dance, I don't know, it doesn't matter. There's a Ramones cover band and then it zooms in and oh it's the offspring. Doing a really spot-on cover of I want to be sedated. Yeah, I like it. Like he was not in his normal vocal register. It was interesting. Meanwhile, Molly's dancing like they're playing Back That As Up. There was a lot of hands, a lot of hands. Every time she was on screen, I felt bad.
Starting point is 00:38:03 I just felt bad, you know? I can't put my finger on I felt bad. I just felt bad, you know? I can't put my finger on what it was. I just felt bad. It was, there was like some secondhand embarrassment going on. For sure. The principal is just like on a sex call, on his work line, while he's supposed to be chaperoning a dance while there's a serial killer on the loose? Like I don't know he seems like you'd be a better chaperone if
Starting point is 00:38:29 only for liability purposes. I love that the phone sex like hotline call which must just boggle people's minds that that was even a thing at some point in time. I know. But it starts with him going, no no no no that credit card's fine. No ask your credit card's fine. No, ask your manager, it's fine. Then what I really did like in that scene, though, was the hand sharpening its fingernails in the pencil sharpener, the electric pencil sharpener? I thought that was excellent.
Starting point is 00:38:59 I really liked the reveal of it doing with its pointer finger and then bringing up all the other fingers that it had already done. I also really like the hand ripping out of his not yet unzipped pants and killing them. Oh, he's into that hand for a few minutes though. I can feel you. It's like I can feel you. Oh God, I can feel you. Oh God, I can feel you! Oh God. Oh, God. So we're cutting between this and Randy and Vivica A. Fox, who are now like a weird buddy, calm duo, where she's like, I'm a, I'm, when she's say, I come from a long line
Starting point is 00:39:38 of druidic priestesses that have to blah, blah, blah, with this hand and otherwise it'll drag a free soul into the nether world. And he's like, uh-huh, okay, all right, sounds good. It's so dumb. So dumb. I love that she has like these costumes that she wears, like when we first see her, she's a nun, and I got really excited that Vivica was going to be a nun. And then, when she goes to the bowling, the bowling, the bowling, the bowling, the bowling, the bowling the bowling to to the bowling to to to the bowling to to to to the bowling to the bowling to to to the bowling to Fox was going to be playing a nun in this movie. I was like, no way are you going to make Vivica be a nun.
Starting point is 00:40:07 And then, when she goes to the bowling alley, she's dressed up in like a bowling shirt and bowling shoes, but looks like somehow uncomfortable in bowling shoes. Oh, she's the best. She is by far the best part of this movie. Other than Seth Green, who's also yelling at his friend, thiiiiiiiiiiiiiii, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, th, th, thi, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi. And, thi. And, thi. And, thi. And, thi. And, toeeaa. And, thii. And, thii. And, thi. And, thi. And, thi. And, this movie. Other than Seth Green, who's also yelling at his friend for making out with a girl, and he's like, you're dead, think about it, it's illegal. Pee-dov's just, he just wants to fuck even if he's dead. Yeah, I mean, you can't blame him. So they give offspring a couple lines. I was like, ooh, offspring's gonna talk. And then not only does offspring get to talk,
Starting point is 00:40:45 he gets to scream and have the top of his head ripped off. Mm-hmm. Yeah, yeah. It seemed very familiar to me. I must have seen that clip somewhere before. It's probably one of their music videos. Probably. You know, that guy has a microbiologist. Is he? Yeah. Good for him.
Starting point is 00:41:05 Yeah. He got his like PhD in 2017. Wow. Yeah, that's nice. I like to hear people working hard, you know. Way to go, Noodle's friend. Are you talking about Dexter Holland? I am talking about Dexter Holland, but I just wanted to go with the is buddy. I see. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:41:25 Did you like the people, the couple that was dressed up as Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons making out in the car? Sweating all my makeup off Curtis. I was surprised by those big little boobs in this movie, but I guess it's gruesome enough. It must be R-rated. Sure. yeah. It seems like a movie that should have been marketed at teens. Teens love boobs.
Starting point is 00:41:49 But not all-rated movies and theaters. It's true. I have the feeling that this movie, they were counting on this movie having a home video. Yeah. I remember being like written up in the teenteenteenteenteenteenteenteenteenteenteen, teen, tune, tap, tap, tha, tha, ttae, tta, tta, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, thi, tho, tho, tho, th, th, th, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th. th. th. It, th. It, th. It, th. It, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tttttttttttthe thea. thea. thea. thea. thea. thea. thea. thea. thea, thea, theathe teen girl mags of the time, you know, oh Devonsawa, what a heartbreaker. Oh, Seth Green, what a fucking adult man with a mortgage. They were shocking boobs, though. She was like, whoa, look at those. Big old boobs.
Starting point is 00:42:22 Did you like Molly looking at the big vent fan with a shoe in her hand, like she was trying to solve a puzzle? You just need to put the shoe in there. And she did. She did. Why didn't she just put another shoe in so that it didn't move? The what now? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:40 Here's where another thing I don't like is when they need Molly to be capable, she's so capable. She like blocks the fan, jumps, knocks down the ceiling panel, drops herself through like, not my Molly. My Molly's stupid. My Molly can't figure out how to get off of the top of a car that's being crushed up against the ceiling. I mean...
Starting point is 00:43:02 Wait. At this point the movie's really dragging for me. Oh for sure, I found myself checking my phone at this point and like fucking around. My notes get real smarts at this point. Having a second screen experience. Because they gave up on like the slap stickiness of it. And it became like this like junior die hard in the Vents movie. Exactly and also the only characters that are still alive basically are Anton and Molly and frankly I don't care for either of them to live.
Starting point is 00:43:38 Yeah. I don't think he deserves to live in any sense of this fairness in this film. I will have to say that I thoroughly 100% enjoyed the puppet fight. Yes. Where the he they're in art class there's a puppet show and the hands hiding in puppets and then the one puppet becomes extremely expressive. Yes it reminded me so much of a puppet master. Oh sure. A film, which in retrospect, might have been great. Thanks, Veronica. You've made everything look good. Honestly. Although, Puppan Master 2, I recall that I fell asleep during and did not rewind. Just woke up and was like, okay, they're in Egypt now, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:44:23 I remember I had to explain what happened to you. I still don't really know. It was a flashback, it's fine. It's fine. It's fine. It doesn't matter. The whole time I kept waiting for them to go back to Egypt. How did you feel about Mighty Joe Bong? Um, what do you think I thought about Mighty Joe Bong? You fucking loved it. I fucking loved it. I'm a simple person. A Bong made out of a muffler with three pipes coming off of it? It's amazing. This is important for strength. Let's say like daddy needs to spinach or something like that?
Starting point is 00:45:02 And then she looks every and goes, you're getting stoned with your friends? Unbelievable! Again, like they could not figure, they couldn't even figure out the tone of characters. Honestly. So while she's saying this, yes, Molly is strapped to the roof of a car and being very, very slowly hydraulic into the air towards the ceiling.
Starting point is 00:45:27 Where there's a pedigram drawn on the ceiling. Right. It's just the... I don't like let her get smushed. And then Devonsawa tries to pull her down and just pulls her dress off, which is like, guys. How are we going to get her butt in this movie? Oh, I got you. Here it is.
Starting point is 00:45:50 So wait, how does the hand get killed? Vivi Fox has a knife that she can kill the hand with. And the hand is like fucking around and someone that throws the hand in the air and she hits it with a knife and it sticks in Seth Green's chest. And he starts yelling, that's it, that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's Seth Green's chest. And then it explodes. And he starts yelling, that's it? That's all it's going to do? That's it.
Starting point is 00:46:09 That's the end of it? Giving voice to what everybody felt at that point in the movie. Yeah. Then Vivica looks at a metal guy and just says, time for the ritualistic sex. Exit the two of them for the rest of the film. Oh, we forgot to mention that they also got the hand high because Devonsawa took a mega hit and blew it into the puppet which then got the hand high. I wondered why a puppet had eye veins. Who painted those? It was so funny. So, oh, so Molly is now all over Devonsawa, even though he's literally cut his hand off
Starting point is 00:46:49 and tied a plastic bag around it, she has not even noticed that. He's got to smell disgusting. He's a fucking gross-ass mess and she's like, mnum, mnum, momm. And then one of the friends says, Oh look, marijuana saves an otherwise disastrous day. Appreciate it. While they're making out the hydraulics on the car drop and smushed Evansawa. And we all assume he's dead. Yeah, I did because I wrote, yes, yes, he had that coming.
Starting point is 00:47:24 So, because we see the light comes I wrote, yes, yes, he had that coming. So because we see the light comes on and Penub and Seth Greene are like, all right, well I guess we're going to go into the light now. Are you coming, Anton? Yeah. Why didn't he just go? Well, because as we learn, I can't believe you blew off heaven to kick it with me, is a line that Jessica Alba says.
Starting point is 00:47:47 You are going to break up in weeks. Weeks! Oh, that is, that's... Buh, other than... Fucking assles. She might have a psychopathic affection for him that is unknown to anyone, like, it's insane how much she's into him. Why? I don't know. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:48:07 Why was she never before? I don't know. Okay. Then we hear Santa Rita for the third or fourth time. They paid good money for that song. Yeah. And Seth Green and the other guys say that they're guardian angels? And they played a prank on him.
Starting point is 00:48:25 What was it again? It was that they wrote I'm under the bed and glow in the dark paint on stealing of his hospital room. Right. So I guess we're supposed to feel good about the fact that he's not going to be a slacker anymore, but I don't understand why his friends and family all had to be sacrifices towards that end. Who knows? It's terrible. It's a parable, it's a terrible parable about how to become not a slacker by killing everyone
Starting point is 00:48:59 you've ever met. I feel like 1999 was like slackers heyday though. Oh for sure. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. Jen X was coming into our own. Oh man. Katie. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:12 You want to, uh, rate idle hands? I have to, don't I? I mean, there's no legal obligation. That's true. So there are a lot of things in this movie that I actually really enjoyed like the puppet and the headlessness and the offspring and the sharpened fingernails. There's all and the parents and the jackalant's like there's the horror stuff about it has such like attention to nice detail that I thought it was really really good. The plot is just... I can't, it's not a movie, it's the item
Starting point is 00:49:53 or whatever, it's like not actually a movie. Right? Sure. Yeah, yeah, the plot is very generous to say that there is one. Yeah. It's pay the ghost level. Yeah. So I kind of want to average the two together and give it a four. But then it's going to get a half for Seth Green. But then I'm going to take away a half for Jessica Alba. So again, thinking about my rating last night after I watched this film. And the number I had was seven.
Starting point is 00:50:30 What? This is fucking fascinating. Because I so thoroughly enjoyed the chemistry between PNUB, Mick and Anton. Yeah. There was just something about it that I found like, I was like, oh, you could take these fucking tool bags out of this movie and put them in Can't Hardly Wait and they would be delightful together.
Starting point is 00:50:54 Yeah, sure. There's just something very watchable about the three of them together. But yeah, it's seven though. But saying that like I'm probably I'm gonna downgrade it to a five after talking about it with you because I realized that like I was like I was giving it too much shine for not being as shitty as I thought it was going to be. I mean that's okay if you enjoyed it you enjoyed it yeah but I would never watch it again and I would never be like y', you gotta go check out idle hands. No. You definitely don't gotta go check out idle hands.
Starting point is 00:51:31 You don't. You don't. You don't. You don't. You don't. You want to do another movie next week? Probably. Yeah, 100% I do. I definitely do. What should we do? Let's do another movie from 1999. We're on a role. You chose, I want to be clear, both of these films. Let's do Dracula 2000. Another movie I've never seen, of an era that I should have seen the movie. Do you like Gerard Butler? I don't know. Do you like Gerard Butler as Dracula? What would I know Gerard Butler from? You know, Olympus has fallen? No, Angel has fallen. Oh, you would know him for 300. That's what I know him from. This is Sparta. Is it? Now, picture that guy as Dracula. Does he have like huge CGI abs as Dracula? Is it? Does he have like huge CGI guy as Dracula. Does he have like huge CGI abs as Dracula?
Starting point is 00:52:29 No, he's got like a leather duster the whole time. I do like that too though, honestly. I might like Gerard Butler as Dracula. Don't try to color my opinion. It's also got Sick Boy from, uh, oh fuck, what's the name of that movie? The Irish people that do heroin? Train spotting. I'm like, yeah, guys, I'm real tired and like not doing well right now, so forgive me
Starting point is 00:52:55 for not remembering literally anything. I couldn't remember if it was trainspotting or kids, both of which are movies I know I'm supposed to like, but deeply don't. You don't like trains spotting, that's surprising. Not really. That toil, I just, oh, I mean, I would be beyond shocked if you were like, oh yeah, I really like kids. Harmony Corin's a real good guy, so everybody makes good movies about nice stuff. That's fair. Say, we're going to do Dracula 2000. You can rent it and whatnot. And Gerard Butler's been in a billion movies, and I've seen almost none of them. Well, welcome to our Gerard Butler podcast.
Starting point is 00:53:37 Hey. Well, one, two will be fine. You got any mail bags for me? Uh, let's see. The way you sang, uh, I thought you were going to go into. Dada, da da da da da da da da. Dada. Maw.
Starting point is 00:53:53 Katie. Can I read your review that brought me quite a bit of joy? I would like that a lot. It's from wayward wood, woose. Wayward, say it again. Wayward, woodwoose. Wayward, I really can't do a wayward, woodwoose. You got it, there you go. Red leather, yellow leather. Unique New York. Unique New York. This is titled, Look at that giggler. Sometimes Katie goes, Alan, you said this was a movie. And Alan gets so giggly that his voice gets high and tittery. No, it's good. I love it, he replies.
