Starting point is 00:00:00 Katie. Alan. Giacomala to you. You can't do it again. Most of these people aren't Patrones. We can't do it again. Most of these people aren't Patron's. We just recorded our Jim Cotta episode over on the Patreon and we are wild. Yeah, yeah, yeah, really. I mean, we're not okay. Should I, hold on, maybe I should try to get an Bulmer accent. Hey, Katie, Yakima! I like that a lot. But we're not talking about Jim Cotta here. We're talking about a Don Duller joint, as you would say.
Starting point is 00:00:55 Don Doler. Don Doler from Baltimore, Maryland. Holy shit. Who was, I wish I could remember who the fan was who introduced us to Alien Factor. Oh, I feel like it was, it was not Skyrim Runner, was it? No, maybe, but I thought it was like a doctor something or other. Hmm. Hey, if you were the listener who introduced us to Alien Factor and Don Doller, let us know. Because we need to send you a thank you card. Because when I saw, I started this movie and then saw that it was a Don Doler joint.
Starting point is 00:01:32 I was like, oh shit, we got to do this on the podcast. You got like 20 minutes into it because when I went to watch it on the shutter the other night, it was 20 minutes in. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Did you, can I ask you a question? Yeah. A really serious question? Did you stop it when you realize that Aunt Ruth and Stephen were in it again? No, I'd forgotten about them. What? Are you kidding?
Starting point is 00:01:58 Okay, so I watched this movie with Pie, our friend of the podcast pie, go back and listen to the Wormwood episode if you want to hear some great Australian shit. And I was like, oh my god, it's Aunt Ruth and Stephen. And she was like, I don't know what you mean. And I was like, you need to watch Alien Factor, but also don't watch Alien Factor. I knew they were familiar but I didn't know why. And now that you're saying it, it was like, holy shit, they were the doctor couple in. They're in a relationship, right? No, they're fucking... Well, in this movie, I don't think he calls her Aunt Ruth at all, but in Alien Factor, she was
Starting point is 00:02:34 definitely his aunt. Yeah, but like a naughty aunt. Not in that movie. In this one, they are in love. I can't believe you didn't clock that, Alan. Have you met my brain? I'm sorry. I screamed for the last hour of this movie, because I was like, it's at right that's Saman. They're here, they're back.
Starting point is 00:02:56 I think I was just so flummoxed by titties in a Don Doler movie that I was shooketh. Several titties, yeah. Night Beast, 1982. So Night Beast starts off as All Good Films Should. The jaunty troma intro. Janty Troma intro, followed by pretty great low-rent spaceship flying through the rings of Saturn. My notes are like, wow, that's a great spacecraft. Everybody should be really proud.
Starting point is 00:03:29 I will take this over a new Star Wars movie any day of the fucking week. I mean, I think that's fair. These are practical effects. They did their best, you know? They actually threw an asteroid at this show. Yeah, this is a $14,000 budget movie. Holy smel. And all of it's on that first. th. th. th. th. th. that th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi, thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. thi. thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. My $14,000 budget movie. Holy smoot, and all of it's on the screen. I mean, all of it is in that first scene when that explosion happens. You're like, wow, that's $14 grand right there.
Starting point is 00:03:54 It's in that and Bertie's drink budget. Yes, for sure. I love that the campers are pissed about this thing crutching. I want to be clear. This is four four th that that that th that th th th th th th th th th this thing crashing. I want to be clear. This is four years after our alien factor. Yeah. Which had a $3,500 budget. So Don Duller's got some money for this one. Coming up in the world. The one flannel boy wakes up the other flannel boys to tell them that the thing has crashed. Everyone in this movie is wearing flannel. We see the entire burning of the alien spaceship which seems to me made a fabric. Yeah. Yeah. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. Yeah th. Yeah th. Yeah th. th. Yeah the th. Yeah th. the th. the th. th. th. th. th. Yeah. th. Yeah. Yeah. th. th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. the th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the the the the the the th. th. th. th. th. th. I th. I th. th. I. I. th. I. I. I. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th alien spaceship, which seems to me made a fabric, but we'll watch about that.
Starting point is 00:04:30 But also, so... All of these flannel boys, Pye kept yelling at me, she was like, it's too close, something's wrong with the TV. And I was like, no, I think this is the way it's shot, isn't it? Yeah. Yeah? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. She was like mad at me for the entire movie that things were being cut off. I was like, dude, that's not me.
Starting point is 00:04:51 That's Don Doller signature. That's the doler signature. That's the top of their head? That's not where the shit's going down. There's no emoting there. So we open on some guys who are camping. Yeah. And a fucking spaceship, which looks so duke. It's so good.
Starting point is 00:05:19 I love it so much. It's fantastic. And we get an alien who can't close his mouth. I mean. The Ultimo, the Ultimals, alien. Lottomal alien. He looks a whole lot better than that duke, that shit, the alien that was made out of shit and the alien factor.
Starting point is 00:05:36 I have such a like shit alien shaped hole in my heart though. I love him so much. I am, I have such warm feelings towards Don Dolar movies. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Bringing Atlantis into our life. Oh my God. Fantastic. Go back and listen to the Alien Factor episode truly. It was a great. Yeah. It probably still has Atlantis in it because we probably didn't bother to cut it. Shhh. Fuck you, Spotify. I love that all the flattel bros that are camping say holy shit when they see the spaceship program. That explains my note that just says holy shit in quotes.
Starting point is 00:06:12 I was like, well I don't know what that means. They're all like, oh, holy shit. Yeah, holy shit. And then we see like a backlit spooky alien or so. Yeah, he's got long arms. He's got his ape index is. Positive ape index is correct, yes, just like me. Just like me.
Starting point is 00:06:29 Look at this fucking thing. Look how long. I can't even get it in the screen. It's more than 5-8 if I stretch them. It's more than 5-8 if I stretch them. So it shoots these flannel brows. The Alien does. I shouldn't call it it it. The Alien. Can we give him a name so that we can call him something throughout this movie? Because he has a large part. He gets a lot of screen time, which he probably shouldn't. I mean, like what would you name? What would you name?
Starting point is 00:06:55 I think Corthon's great. Here we are, Corthon. Corthon shoots these guys. He shoots one guy first. And he turns into, wait, I want to be really clear here, because we did this in in the Patreon episode, we have not done it here. Alan is still sick, we're recording online, which means that I am drinking an enormous amount of wine because I'm in my house. Right, and I still have that sexy voice that you all love. You guys, I love how many comments we got about your sexy horse voice.
Starting point is 00:07:31 Neh. What's it like to be an international sex symbol, Alan? I mean, I've been that way in my whole life. I mean, it's true. You were in all these bands, Virginia Black Lung. I did those Calvin Klein ads with Markey Marcus. Your apps were so good back then. I've really let myself go. We've all let ourselves go. Someone's got to.
Starting point is 00:07:56 I mean, look, it's our job. It's 2024. Yeah. So I love when he shoots them with a laser, Korthon, named after the singer of Bathory, and main member of Bathory, and he shoots them with the laser and they all turn into disco lights. Well, the first one turns into like a red kind of prism thing and then the second two turn into stars.
Starting point is 00:08:17 Sparcles, yeah, and then like piles of red goo. Was that like just a different setting on his gun? Okay, got it. Yeah, you've got setting for one and then table for two. Table for two. And you hit table for two turns him into disco lights. Gotcha, gotcha, gotcha. It's so silly. It's so fun. Yeah, yeah, yeah. This is our opening. This is an alien landing and killing three campers. Yeah, out of the gate, Don Doler not fucking around. The body count. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. to. th. th. to. to. to. th. th. to. the to be. to be. to. to to. to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to be. Yeah, to be. Yeah, to be. Yeah, to be. Yeah, to be. Yeah, to. Yeah, to. Yeah, the t. t. tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. ta. ta. ta. ta. ta. ta. ta. ta. ta. ta. ta. ta. not fucking around. The body count in this movie is insane. If you ever wanted to see people from Balmer County get wasted by an alien, have I got another movie for you? I just love how Baltimore everybody is in this movie, particularly the deputy.
Starting point is 00:09:00 Yeah, and Lisa, don't forget Lisa. Lisa is the deputy. That's what I'm talking about. Every time she speaks, I'm like, oh my god, you sound you th. You th. You th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. If thi. If th. If thi. If thi. If thi. If thi. If you thi. If you thi. If you thi. If you thi. If you th. If you th. If you you th. If you the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. If, th. If, th. If, thi. If, thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. the the deputy, that's what I'm talking about. Every time she speaks, I'm like, oh my God, you sound like me. Yeah, that weird thing of where the Balmer accent is so close to the Pittsburgh accent. It's Appalachia, you know, we've all just got that thing where we just like roll our vowels. Yeah, you're going to be eaten certain parts of the word word word word word word word word word word word word word word word the word. Just just swallowing it right here in your math. So we cut to a police station where a man wearing the same shirt as the guy in the woods now has a beard and I was like, oh fuck, how do you get to the police station? And Pye was like, that's a different guy. And I was like, no, he's got the same shirt.
Starting point is 00:09:37 We all had that shirt. We all had that shirt. that shirt. You did. It's mandatory. 1982 you had that shirt? Yeah, for sure. I probably still have that shirt. You should put it on for this episode. Oh, I should have. It's too hot. It is fucking hot though. Alan still has COVID. We're so recording remotely. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Yeah, we're doing it. We're doing it. We're doing it. We're doing the best we can. You know what? they said it. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. they th. they th. they they they they're they're th. th. th. they're th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th th th th th th th. th. th. th. the. the. the. to to the. to to to the. the. the. to the. the. the. the. the. th what? Fuck you, this is free. No, no one said anything. No, they said, what they said was get better, Alan. I'm so sorry, you're sick. And then somebody said, get better, Katie, and I'm fine.
Starting point is 00:10:12 I feel fine. No, Katie, get better. I really. If there's something that I say to myself every morning and every night when I wake I wake when I wake when I wake when I wake when I wake when I wake when I wake when I wake when I wake when I wake when I wake when I wake when I wake when I wake when I wake when I wake when I wake when I wake when I wake up and go to sleep. It's, Katie, fucking get better. You dumb bitch. So we meet Sheriff Jack Sender. Oh my God. Because your friend walks in, runs in with the flannel. And he's like, oh, yeah, Jack, there's been an explosion. What is that? Lightening? Jesus must have been lightning. That ain't no lightning I'd ever seen.
Starting point is 00:10:47 So there's Sheriff Jack Sender, and then there's a cop named Pete, who's like a driving around in a car, he's like a uniform. Yeah, he's a real useless piece of shit. He's a real useless piece of shit, and he dies quickly so it's fine. But his one thing is he's like, yeah, you gotta call Lisa. I don't want to wake her up. She's qualified. He says she is a deputy and she is qualified. And I was like, thank you for sticking up for the ladies, Pete. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:11:11 Don Dole or feminist icon. As a woman who works in a male-dominated industry, I appreciate the peats of the world. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So now we have a woman. Lisa has like this cool Wendy Williams from the Plasmatics haircut. As soon as the movie started, Pye was like, look it's Wendy Williams. I was like, I don't know, okay, all right. Maybe she should be on this episode, truly. Fine, I have some very specific reference points. But she like, she just looks cool.
Starting point is 00:11:48 She's in like a negligee and she's like, oh hello? Hello. Hello. I'll be right there. Oh man. Is this where we meet Uncle Dave and the kids? Yeah, Uncle Dave hates these little shits. He is so mad.
Starting point is 00:12:06 Wouldn't you? No, I have nieces and nephews and I love them very much. I would never talk to them this way. These kids are always fucking around, pulling pranks. What is Uncle Dave doing with these kids in his backseat? I don't know, he's got to go take a piss in the woods thoes, the woods, the woods, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, thi, thi, th, thi, thi, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I, and I, and th, th, th, th, th, th, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th th th th thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi. tooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. N', th. N', love Uncle Dave. Oh Uncle Dave does not I wish Uncle Dave had made it a bit longer. He unzips and then immediately zips back up and I was like oh fuck Uncle Dave no prostate issues for you dude you're killing it. No Uncle Dave pisses when Uncle Dave feels like it right then no thinking about it no pressure
Starting point is 00:12:41 just goes yeah. And the kids like do a jump scare on him? And he's like, oh, I'm never believing you kids again, even if you tell me there's an alien behind me. Uncle Dave also has a weird eye. His eye was weird. I don't know, he is one weird eye. Don't worry, the alien knocked it out of his head. Ha ha ha ha ha. Oh man, this movie rules.
Starting point is 00:13:07 Oh my God. This is, I have to say, before we get to the ratings phase, this is the most fun I've had in weeks. It's just, it's a joyous joy. And maybe you remember like how much I love great shitty B movies. Absolutely, this is a great shitty B movie. It's fucking fan. It's made with all the love in Don Dolear's heart. Exactly. There's everyone who's doing it just like, I'm so stoked to be here. This is grand. Yeah. Except for baby Uncle Dave. It's so sincere. Like it's the most sincere thing you've ever seen,
Starting point is 00:13:40 which just like warms your goddamn cold black heart. Even Bertie and Mary Jane they're they're totally feeling it. I want to be best friends with Mary Jane. No you don't. Yes I do. No she is the best how dare you we'll get there. All right so wait here here's a note that I wrote here. One of the children is wearing a Montreal Quebec ringer tea. Yeah, that thing's dope. And what I wrote here is a free Wearwolf Ambulance shirt to the first EMT who can find me that ringer tea. Yeah, that's really nice.
Starting point is 00:14:14 Find it. Wearolphamulance at Gmail. I'll send you a shirt. Do it. We ship internationally. You can send it to P.O.Bux 5471. Just tell me where to buy it myself and I will get you a wear-of ambulance shirt. Of your choice, we have so many designs.
Starting point is 00:14:33 I like to think between that and the Rocky Sweat shirt that I got you, your whole wardrobe is just going to be based on things you saw in movies. Perfect. I love that rocky. th. th. thu. thu. thu. thu. thu. thu. thu. thu. thu. thu. thu. thu. thu. thu. thu. thu. thu. to to to tho. to to to to to tho. to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. the. the. the. the. te. tell the tell the the. the. tell the. to to to to to to to to to you mean, I love it. So good. So the Uncle Dave gets fucked up and the kids take off running. Yeah. And the alien chases them. He needs an orthodontist like you would not believe. He has a lot of teeth. Yeah. He has a ferruza bulk level of teeth. And many rows of them. And many rows of them, and they point at different angles at different times. And they're very crowded. It's just teeth for days, yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:13 So I, like I had this whole fiction in my brain that he doesn't want to kill, but he's so enraged by his tooth pain. Yeah, I mean, when you have a toothache, like, you cannot do anything. You feel awful, everything hurts, yeah. No, I would disco laser people if I had a toothache. If I could disco laser people, I would disco laser them even without a toothache. I'd be like, you're stars now, baby. You're stars. I have a note that says the music is indeed music.
Starting point is 00:15:41 It's music. I mean, you can't deny that's that that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's the music. I mean you can't deny that it's Scott notes. I don't know what they are doing. Do the little dude. And my next note says he looks like a penis dentata. Oh he does. He's a penis with teeth. We cut to a couple who's making out but his mouth is nowhere near her. His mouth is about seven inches south. Yeah, you ain't never done just like erotic chin-gurbling. His mouth is nowhere near her. His mouth is about seven inches south. Yeah, you ain't ever done just like erotic chin gurblin. No, our chin's erotic.
Starting point is 00:16:12 Mmm, the most erotic. Mm, the touch. Gotcha. They call it the e-zone of Baltimore. She stops the make-out session. I refer to it as necking. Necking. And she goes, hey, there's so many, there's, there, there, there, there, there, there, there, there, there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's their their their their the make-out session. I refer to it as necking. Necking. It's just my necking. And she goes, hey, there's somebody running towards the house.
Starting point is 00:16:30 Someone's running towards a house. Glenn, be careful, will you? You have to understand. As people who talk like me, it feels so good to hear other people who talk like me. Even if they're from another city three hours away, I still love it. So I grew up like just north of Baltimore, like right near Maryland. This is like, this is like, when I've had, when I'm in my cups, I definitely have to go home. Go ahead. There's definitely like, there's this element of like, oh, this is just a warm blanket of an accent. And America has done such a great job at like quashing regional accents.
Starting point is 00:17:08 Yeah. That like hearing them so boldly in a movie is such a delight. Yeah. Makes me so happy. I hear you. Yeah. So we're not, we're not belittling. We're just, we're celebrating.
Starting point is 00:17:19 Look, I can't belittle you when I also talk like that. Oh man, so yeah, the lover boy goes outside with a shotgun, he's going to shoot the alien, I guess. Did you think he looked like a shitty Tim Curry? I didn't. I thought he looked like a shitty Ramon. Oh, yeah, he looks a bit like Dede. You're right. The cute one, the cute Ramon. Sure, we'll go with that. I feel like Dee Dee Dee was a cute one, don't you?
Starting point is 00:17:45 Of the Ramones, yes. Yeah, Dee's, I mean, yeah, you'd slim pickens. But this guy, Glenn, also has like a really giant head and a tiny body. The smallest shoulders you've ever seen. I'm trying to pull my own shoulders in to look like him but I'm so much more broad shoulder than this man. He'd make an excellent cat burglar. Yeah for sure. He's 112 pounds. And most of it's just saliva from the necking. Yeah. Well yeah. Man. But there's a long tension
Starting point is 00:18:23 seal building scene of him like staring around looking for whatever's running towards the house. Yeah, but how did he not see it on the porch because it's right next to him? Hmm? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And then it puts his hot dogs on the outside. I was like, I fucking love this movie so much. There's so many hot dogs on the outside in this movie. Yeah. I love it so much. And the the the their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their. their. their their their their their th. their th. th. th. Yeah. Yeah. th. th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. movie. I love it so much. And then his lady friend who's got a fucking excellent Shag haircut was very in style right now. She looks she has the exact same haircut as our friend Christina who looks gorgeous with that haircut and she's wearing this like cute little floral onesy that like I don't wear floral really but like I would wear the shit out of that ones. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:03 Yeah. What if your fashion is just Don Dolar movies? I don't think I can pull that off, Alan. Oh, I think you could. I'm not confident enough. You know who could? Christina. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And she also doesn't have to pee that much.
Starting point is 00:19:19 So this guy is outside. The alien puts his th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, tho, tho, thi, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, th. So, th. So, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th. So, th. So, th, th. So, th. So, th. So, th. And, thi, thi, thi, tho. And, tho. And, tho. And, tho. And, tho. And, tho. And, tho. And, tho. And, tho. And, tho. And, the alien puts his fingeys all the way inside, puts all the way inside him and pulls out his hot dogs, it's great practical effects. And this woman in her little floral onesy is just screaming her head off. And then she goes out onto the porch. Why does she do that? Now she is also dead. So she takes the shotgun, which has bullets in it it or whatever's in a shotgun I think and holds it up shells rally ratchet family with a pocket full of shells and rather than shooting the gun at the alien she smacks it with the gun yes
Starting point is 00:19:54 which is not gonna hurt this alien what's his name again carthon Corthon Corthon Corthon And yeah and then she gets killed and then the kids run and try to drive the car away but the alien disco lights it. Yeah, yeah, that's it. The alien is so fast.
Starting point is 00:20:14 It's beautiful. He is so everything until he isn't. Oh God, what a fucking delight this movie is. Guys, I'm sure you haven't watched this, except for the folks on our Discord who watch our, the movie we're covering every Saturday night. And if you guys want to get in on that, please join our Discord and watch the movie with these folks. The cops show up and this immediately ensues into a shootout laser gunfight long time close-up on barrels firing. There are so many shots fired in this movie. Everyone has a gun. It's
Starting point is 00:20:58 so Appalachia. I love it. And also if I recall the cops were the heroes of Alien Factor too. I think so, yeah. And like, you know, ACAB and everything. Yeah. But the cops in Don Dolar movies, you're like, all right, I'm here for you. I'm doing it with you. Let's just like, let's do it. They're just doing a job. They're not out here trying to hassle anybody. They're just trying to fight these aliens that just keep showing up in their hometown of somewhere outside of Baltimore. They're shooting this alien for the longest time and nothing's happening. The alien keeps picking them off.
Starting point is 00:21:38 But the problem that this movie has is that you can't tell if they're missing him or it just doesn't hurt him. Well as we learn later, Namb bullets their their bullets their bullets them bullets them bullets their bullets their bullets their bullets their bullets their bullets their bullets their bullets their bullets, n n nem bullets, nem bullets, nem bullets, nem, th. th. th. th. th. can't tell if they're missing him or it just doesn't hurt him? Well as we learn later, NEM bullets don't have no effect on him. Does not stop them from shooting at him though? No. No. I mean what if this one gets in? Yeah. And there's like people like one guy sneaks up behind him and hits it with a stick and they just get disco laser. Or maybe his face gets wrecked by the alien. And the sheriff's like, we gotta get Bill Perkins.
Starting point is 00:22:11 He's a crack shot. Yes, Bill Perkins is 112 years old. He's like, they're like, we're gonna bring in Bill Perkins and his son is 14 years older than me. These people are dead. Oh shit. So is Don Duller, God rest this all. It's Don Duller dead. 2006 he passed away. Oh baby. We'll never get in. How did he make movies other than this an alien factor? Oh yeah yeah there's like a galaxy intruder or something? Thank God. Yeah, there's a bunch, yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:45 Oh, thank goodness. I don't know what I would do if I never got to see another Don Dooler movie. We have to like parse them out over the years to ourselves. Yes, we're 10 years in we've done too. So. 10 years! So the sheriff's like, I want that gun. And the one guy, Jamie, Jamie who works at the, he's not a cop, but he works at the cop office.
Starting point is 00:23:11 Jamie's eyes are so close together. I've never seen a human being have no peripheral vision like Jamie. Listen, Jamie is just all predator. He's never worried about being chased from the side. You're right. He's just all predator. He's never worried about being chased from the side. You're right. You're right. Jimmy calls the Perkins kids and then he's like, oh no, we got another phone call. So the sheriff and Lisa are like, well, we're going to go investigate because these two
Starting point is 00:23:36 are just together all the time. That's not going to lead to anything later. What the fuck though? Okay, all the the the the the the the the the the, all, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, thi, thi, th, th, th, th, th, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, thi, thi, thi, thi is is is is is thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, is thi, is thi, is thi, is thi, is thi, thi, is thi, thi., is thi., is tooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, tha, tha though? Okay, all right, all right, we'll get there. We'll get there. So they go to investigate this call that they got about someone seeing the penis dentata alien. Yes. And... show up and they're looking around and the sheriff just goes, don't look that way, just back up. And they run and they have to jump over a wall but they can't jump it so they just slowly climb over a wall and I was like, yo that's me I get you I
Starting point is 00:24:17 get you. I mean the alien to be fair is shooting lasers and is a terrible shot. Oh yeah he's like me with jokes if you just keep throwing them out their. One, I I I I I I I to to to to to to to to to to to to to thi thi thi. thi. thi. thi. their thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. their just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just they. I they. I they. I they. I they. I they. I they. I the the they. the the the the the thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. they're they're thi. thi. they're thi. they're thi. thi. thi.'s like me with jokes if you just keep throwing them out there, one's gonna stick. One's gonna stick. But your jokes are like red laser beams. Oh man, they took so long to get over the wall. I loved it so much. Oh, it's so good. And then the Perkins and his son show up. I don't know who the Perkins is. Perkins is the old man to the crash. Oh, Bill Perkins and his son. Yes, yes, yes, yes.
Starting point is 00:24:47 I've got it here. So while they are going to shoot the alien, the sun comes way the hell up. Because the sun... Oh, they call Bill Perkins in the dark. The next scene where Bill is thens is is is is the thens is thens is the thens is thens is the thens is the thens. thens. the thens and thens and thekins in the dark. The next scene where Bill Perkins is there, it's morning. It's like very clearly like early morning where the sun is in a particular angle. You can tell it's early morning.
Starting point is 00:25:15 And then suddenly I remembered all the snow scenes and alien factor where it would have snow on the ground and the next scene there wasn't. And then in the next scene there was snow again. Yeah. I don't know if you've if you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you th you th you th you th you th you th you th you th you th th th th th th the next scene there wasn't? And then in the next scene there was snow again. Yeah. I don't know if you've ever been down in Baltimore, but the weather and the sun down there are wild. It's like my nana always said, you don't like the weather in Pittsburgh, just wait 15 minutes. And also if you have nothing nice to say, say it quietly. She's a true poet of our time.
Starting point is 00:25:46 God rest her soul. She would have been a hundred this week. Ah. Yeah. She would have loved this movie too. Nah. Well, yeah, there's some sexy shit. She would have like that.
Starting point is 00:25:58 So Bill Perkins is like, Jimmy, my son, I'm pissed because the alien disco lighted in our car I want you to like run and take his like you're you're gonna cover me you're gonna run in that direction and cover me but you're immediately got to get shot and killed by the alien yeah I mean he's basically saying like be my meat shield yeah and he does he immediately dies and Bill's like oh shit man now I gotta shoot him which he tries to and then he shoots the gun and it the gun and the gun and the gun and the gun the gun the gun the gun the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the hea hea hea hea hea hea heek hee heek hee hee hee hee he he's he he's he he's he he's he he's he he's he he's the he he's the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the tak tak tak took tak took tak took toe toe is toe is toe is to. And then he shoots the gun and it breaks. Yeah. And then he's real distraught about Jimmy's death. I don't remember him being distraught, but that's fine. Oh yeah, he was really, he had his head and his hands, he was crying. Oh, okay, sure. Also during the scene, whenever the alien is shooting, it nighttime, but whenever the people are shooting it's daytime. I mean that's like, you know, like the alien is dark, he's evil. And then like the, this is the good, this is the, no?
Starting point is 00:26:53 No? No. No. And I don't know if these cops know how lasers work because they don't seem concerned. Katie, they don't know how the daytime works. No, it's true. I don't want to blame them, I want to blame Dawn. He's doing the best that he can with $14,000. Which is three times the budget he had on Alien Factor. Yeah, yeah, there's no miscellaneous snow in this movie. Stepping up in the world. $3,500. I feel like could like I could like I could like I could like I could like I could I could I could I could I could I could I could I could I could I could I could I could I could I could I could I could I could I could I could I could I could I could th th th th th th th th thi tho tho tho tho tho the thi thi the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the miscellaneous snow in this movie stepping up in the world $3,500 I feel like I could come up with so much more than that to make a movie, you know Sure, but could you make that quality of movie with that money? Absolutely not I could make that quality of movie with
Starting point is 00:27:38 maybe $17,000. Guys, I'm sorry I'm drunk, we're doing it. The sheriff has to, mark your bingo cards, the sheriff has to go... Oh, I got 34 seconds into the episode. Shut up, that's barely past the opening, opening song. The sheriff goes to see Mayor Burt, which for a long time they don't tell you that Bert's the mayor. He's drinking scotch, what I presume is scotch or brandy, but I assume it's scotch out of a plastic cup, the tu. Which does not say mayor to me. No. You think Mayor Ed Ganey of Pittsburgh
Starting point is 00:28:19 Pennsylvania drinks out of a plastic cup? No. Pado does though. Pado drinks out of whatever that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that th th th th th th th th th th th the the the the the the the the their their their their is their is their is their is their is their is their is their is their is the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th is th is the is the is the is the is theats. theats. theats. theats. theats. theats. theats. theats. theats. the No. Padoo does though. Padoo drinks out of whatever he's handed and I know that from personal experience. Take that Paduets. He's a drinker. I saw graffiti the other day that said Padoo kills kids and I thought that was funny. There is um there's a graffiti. There's a graffiti on a dumpster in here in my house that just says, Bill Padoo doesn't read footnotes. The man hasn't been mayor in years that people are still talking shit.
Starting point is 00:28:57 I will talk shit on Bill Padoo for the rest of my life. He was an okay mayor too, he did all right, you know, as far as things. And he was better than the last guy. Yeah, the one who embezzled all that money and did not get indicted by the FBI. And then like threw a smoke bomb and disappeared into private sector? Who went to high school with my cousin Joe and beat him up once and put him in a locker for a for a show for like a morning announcements thing. Because did my, did the light in my room just change? Yeah, it's blue now. Why?
Starting point is 00:29:29 Nothing has changed in here. It's Rob's magic light bulbs. No, but my, it looks the same to me. I'm very disoriented. Yes. I have one lamp on in here and it's, yeah. I like it. It's like, uh, we're both after dark now.
Starting point is 00:29:46 Yeah I like it. So they go to see Bert he's drinking the out of the like the shitty Tumblr cup and there's like Bert you got to cancel this party and Bert's like the governor's coming I have no way to get in touch with him to tell him not to come. No because he's already on his way. It's like he's already on too too too too too too too too too too too too too too too too too too too too too too too too. So to. So. So. So. to. to. to. to. the to. to. the. the. to. to. to. the. the. to. the. to. to. the. the. to. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. th. th. th. th. th. th. to. th. to. th. to. to. to. to. to. th. to. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. to me too, so how are you going to do that? Yeah, yeah. And the sheriff's like, we got to make this, we got, we got to end this, we can't do this, you can't have the party. And he's like, we got to evacuate the town. And Bert's like, just chill out, man. And Mary Jane's like, let me get you a drink, because that's all. of things. She's such a fucking idiot. She keeps calling him Birdie and he says don't call me Birdie and that's like the running gag between the two of them. I mean his don't call me birdie is the only comic relief in the movie. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:39 Yeah. Except for the sex scene. And... Yeah. So the sheriff gets back of the car with Lisa and she's like, what did the mayor said, and sheriff's like, he said don't evacuate the town. What are you going to do? Evacuate the town. Yeah, absolutely. That's what he's going to do. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And then we meet Drago. Why is Drago in this movie? Because Don Doler hates sex pests.
Starting point is 00:31:13 Okay, fine. Yeah, fine. So this was an excuse to kill a boy, abusive boyfriend. Yeah, all right, okay, good. And there are just so many characters and they've been given so many names and I cannot remember any of them. No, no. But the name that I do remember is when we meet Stephen, which I wrote, is this Aunt Ruth's nephew?
Starting point is 00:31:35 I love that you logged that. I love all the things that stuck in your brain. I was like screaming at Pie. I was like they were in the last movie, it was Aunt Rubin, Stephen. She was like, I don't know what that means. I bet Don Duller got his wings when you remember that. He's dead. He's been dead since, he's been dead for almost 20 years.
Starting point is 00:32:01 Yeah, so now he's got his wings up in heaven. You think he went from hell. He was just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just to to to to to to to to to to to th. I th. I was that's th. I was that's that's th. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi. I thi. I thi up in heaven. You think he went from hell? No, he was not in hell. He was just in heaven wingless. I think you got to, I thought when you got wings, when you got to heaven. No, no, you got, I mean, isn't that the whole thing with, uh, it's a wonderful life? When the bell rings, the angel gets his wings. It's a wonderful life. Come on, dog, this Christmas, we're doing it. Do I have to? It's such a good movie. Do I have to, though? No, you don't have to do anything. That I won't. It's America, Jackie, you've got to do nothing. Can you and I just like drink some eggnog and watch that thin with the guy from
Starting point is 00:32:34 Stranger Things again? Okay, great. I'm not watching, it's a wonderful life. I'll never, I'll never watch that. I will never watch the miracle on whatever street. I'm not doing that. It's great. No, I won't. Fun, fun fact about me. I love a Christmas movie. I know, you like, you like Christmas though. Yeah, I think I came around on it.
Starting point is 00:32:58 And you like live with someone who really loves Christmas. She she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she's. to to th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the. the the the the to the the to the the the thirty thirty thirty thirty thirty thirty thirty thirty thirty sparkly shit. And her Santa army. She has an army of a blow mold santa's. Your house becomes very distressing around Christmas. I like it for that. All the blow mold Santa's really upset me. Yeah. We just we become a fire hazard around Christmas. Don't put a light bulb in it. Oh, you put a light bulb in it! So yes, they go to see Stephen, who is the coroner, doctor? Look, I'm going to remind people, including you, and anyone who has not watched Alien Factor or listened to that episode, Stephen and his aunt Ruth were running a morgue out of their home. Yeah. And when they were still doing it in this movie, I lost my mother-fucking mind.
Starting point is 00:33:51 I lost my mother-fucking mind. So, in the fiction of this universe, this town has been attacked twice by ventral aliens. And Stephen and Aunt Ruth lives through the first one. Yeah, if only the second one too. Anyway, we'll get to that. So Drago is a piece of shit. He's like standing up to the cops, but not in a cool way. And then we go to the coroner's office. And we learned that Jamie, who works with the cops, has been seeing Drago's girl, Susie.
Starting point is 00:34:26 Yes. And cut to Susie at her house. Susie lives in a dorm room with wood paneling, I think. Yeah, yeah, that's just called the 80s. Oh, okay, okay, okay. And Drago knows that she's been seeing Jamie. So what does he do? Uh, kills her. Uh, kills her to death. No, first he just beats the shit out of her.
Starting point is 00:34:53 Oh, yes. That happens first. Yes. So that she is topless and then totally nude for a while in this movie. Yeah, there's a lot. She has a lot of ti. th. th. th. th. th, th, th. th, th, th, th, th, th, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. th. thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi, thi, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to, lot of tit time. And like booty hole time too. Like, yeah. They was like, tons older, what are we doing here? So in her room, she has a shelf that just has like a collection of beer bottles on it.
Starting point is 00:35:14 Sure. What is that about? No, those are the empties. That's how you know she's cool. All right. I do not know. So then Jamie is like I gotta go see Susie. We have to make sure she's safe, yeah. Yeah. See he runs over there to evacuator. And she puts on the best outfit you've ever seen. Which is a shirt with buttons that she does not button. Just ties off at the waist.
Starting point is 00:35:49 Yeah. No. No. And a pair of like form fitting and then bell bottom jeans. She has the cutest little titties you've ever seen though. I mean, Jesus fuck. I've always been jealous of little titties like cute little titties, you know. I've always been jealous the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. tie ties ties, ties, ties, ties, ties, thi. thi. tie is just just just tie is just tie is just ties. ties. ties, ties, ties, ties, ties, ties, thie thie thie thie thie thie thie thie thie thie. Just thie. Just thie. Just thie. Just thie. Just just just just just just just just ties, ties, ties, ties, ties, ties. ties. ties. ties. ties. ties. ties. ties. ties. ties. ties, ties, tie of little titties, like cute little titties, you know. I've always been jealous of them. Yeah, they're great.
Starting point is 00:36:12 They're great. Yeah, you know I celebrate. I just wrote here, cute little titties. I wish I had cute little titties like that. That's so youthful. I was drunk when I watched this movie. I'm very sorry. And now you're drunk while we talk about it. Yeah I mean it's the circle of life. It's perfect. But I just thought
Starting point is 00:36:32 it was like so hard to put on like unbuttoned denim shirt, no bra and just be like, yeah I'm gonna go fucking hang out. My note about it says well. My note about shirt is doing none of the shirting. But then Drago comes back. And this is when he strangles her to death. It feels too real. It's so violent. It's so brutal. Like, this is such a silly movie with such bad acting, bad effects. And then like, this is so brutal.
Starting point is 00:37:03 It feels so real. Just like in the middle of my goofball fun times, there's domestic violence. Yeah. And just like, I did. And like, he's clearly the bad guy. It's clearly shit. But like, it just feels too fucking real.
Starting point is 00:37:17 Yeah, it's a bummer. Yeah. Don. Cut to the shittiest party you've ever seen at the mayor's house. It does not look like a party for a governor. It looks like a cocaine 30th. But then when you see the governor, you're like, oh yeah, that makes perfect sense. It looks like a key party that no one wants to put their keys in the bowl.
Starting point is 00:37:40 Everyone like takes a look around and is like, I'll just fuck my husband, I guess. I'll bite the bullet and fuck my husband again. He, the governor has like a sick old man forearm tattoo where you're like, is it, is it an anchor? Is it, what is it? 1982, he's definitely done some military service. Yeah, for sure, for sure. At his age in this time period, yeah. But he's like he's also the least the least the least least least least least least least least least least least least least least least least least least least least least least the least least least least the least least least least the least least least the least the least least least least least the least the least least least least the least the least the least, the least, the least, the least, the least, the least, the least, the least, the least, the thooletoletoletuoletuoletuoletuolet. th. th. thuolet. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. t. t. t. took. takes, takes, took. took. took. took. took. took. took. took. ta. ta. ta. took. took. took. took. took. took. took. t age in this mood in this time period yeah but he's like he's also the least gubernatorial looking human being I've ever seen. I would not I mean I voted for Josh Shapiro my boyfriend so I do not think that I would have voted for no governor Embery.
Starting point is 00:38:18 And governor Embery is like yeah I'd love a drink and his his today is like, yes, the governor only likes mild vodka and water. What does that mean mild? I don't know, but he says it twice. Yeah, he says vodka and water, mild please. And then Mary Jane comes back with like a one of those plastic cups, just no ice or anything. Just like pool water? Yeah. Does mild mean like not strong? Who can say?
Starting point is 00:38:53 I don't know. It's just a film of unanswered question. And like Jim Cotta. The governor is like, the governor has a right-hand man. And she's like, oh, I'm so sorry. Did you want to drink? And he was like, oh, I never drink on the job. And she was like, Bertie and I always drink on the job, don't we, Bertie?
Starting point is 00:39:14 And I was like, I fucking love Mary Jane. All right. She says something like, is it heue he's going to be the next governor? He's the current governor! I don't know what's happening! So stupid! But the sheriff shows up and he tries to break up the party. And it's like, you can't break up the party, that's not your right. But he's got to, he's trying to save this goddamn town from an alien invasion.
Starting point is 00:39:45 It's true. Jamie fires a gun into the air. Jamie has no right to fire a gun into the air. And he's like, there's poison gas linking from the old mines. And they, you have to run, run. When he says that, people act like he shot into the pool. Yes. They just scatter. They are so scared of poison gas. The governor's like, I knew it. Yes. He's like you lied to me. There's poison gas this whole time? Everybody runs away. Bert cries. Mary Jane's like, do you want to get trunk? He says something like I want my whiskey. And I'm just like, please don't give him any whiskey. When a man says I want my whiskey, you don't give him any whiskey.
Starting point is 00:40:26 No, no, no, no, no, no. It's in a real Drago situation. But the alien also wants whiskey and also this man's arm because he just rips it right off. Fucking Wilton, the one black man we're getting in this film. He gets two lines and is murdered, and also he and the men, and the men, and the men, and the men, and the men, and the men, the men, the men, the men, the men, the men, the men, the men, the men, thops, thops, thus, thinks, thinks, thinks, thinks, thinks, and thi, and thinks, thinks, thi, thi, thi, thi, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, the. And, thrown the. And, thea, toea. And, toea. And, toea. And, thrown thi. And, thi. And, thi. And,lers and they all get thrown onto the hood of this car. It's very funny. His one friend is named Krebs. Krebs, oh Krebs is the one who wants the whiskey. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:55 Which is just a bottle of whiskey in the backseat of the car. Yeah, he'd had it with him. He was like, oh shit, I left it in the backseat. Yeah. Yeah. And then there's like a phone call made, but Jamie is somehow back at the station. Why would Jamie be back at the station? There are so many times when phone calls are made either to or from the police station? Yeah. And Jamie's there? I mean, there's a one point where the sheriff is there. Why would he go back to the station? Well? Yeah? Yeah? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. the police. the police. the police. the police. the police. the police. the police. the police. the police. the police. the police. the police. the police. the police. the police. the police. Why would he go back to the station? Well, I mean, that's where you got to go, right? It's the police station. That's where the police police. And I think at this point, Jamie has been like, am I a cop now? And the sheriff's like, yeah, I don't give a shit. Yeah, whatever. It's fine. I'm just thinking about it. We lost Pete. thii. I'm just th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the th. th. th. th. the the th. th. th. the the police. the police. the police. that's the police. that's the police, the police. It's the police. It's the police. It's the the police. It's the the the the the the the the police. It's he doesn't think about it until he fucks Lisa,
Starting point is 00:41:45 which I thought was very strange. We've all thought about it, sir. So the alien is like fucking up shit at the doctor's house mortician and house morgue I should say. House slash morgue slash hospital. Because he brings Krebs to her when the only black guy in the movie brings crebs to her when he's hurt. So it's like, that's where people go when they're hurt. Right. So it is her house. It is a hospital. It is the morgue. Because they also bring dead bodies there, so I don't know. She contains multitudes.
Starting point is 00:42:24 Aunt Ruth, hell yeah. Aunt Ruth, maybe now wife, Ruth. I don't know. I don't know. So the alien's fucking up this house, and Stephen and aunt Ruth go to the basement to hide. And Stephen closes the basement door. He goes up and he peeks and he sees the alien. He's like the alien didn't the hell hell hell hell hell hell hell hell hell hell hell hell hell hell hell. Hell. Hell. Hell. Hell. Hell. Hell. Hell. Hell. Hell. Hell. Hell. Hell. Hell. Hell. Hell. Hell. Hell. Hell. Hell. Hell. Hell. Hell. Hell. Hell. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, hell, yeah, yeah, hell, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Hell. Hell. Hell. Hell. Hell. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Hell. Hell. Hell. Hell. Hell. Hell. Hell. Hell. Hell. Hell. Hell. Hell. Hell. Hell. Hell. Hell. Hell. Hell. Hell. Hell. Hell. Hell. Hell. Hell. Hell. Hell. Hell. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, the. Yeah, the. Yeah, the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the basement to hide. And Stephen closes the basement door. He goes up and he peaks and he sees the alien.
Starting point is 00:42:45 He's like, the alien didn't see me. And then closed the basement door. And then 10 seconds later, the aliens kicking the shit out of the basement door. And this debris is falling down the stairs. Then it looks at the top of the steps Huckin' Wood down the stairs. He's like look we went to Michaels, we got this ball saw, we're throwing it down the stairs. And Stephen, I like,
Starting point is 00:43:15 I liked Stephen and the alien factor, I like him in this, but his mouth is very upsetting and he's just going, do, be, be-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de- Like a muppet? Yes. Stephen immediately realizes that he's got to electrocute the beast. Why, though? Because he's steep, and you know how he thinks. Oh, sure. He's always thinking. So he's got to pour some water on the ground and then fray the wire coming off the dryer and put it on the floor.
Starting point is 00:43:51 Yes, he does this. Mm-hmm. And it electrocutes the beast and the beast runs away. The end of that scene. I guess so. It's like, only in water and sparks and he's lightly shocked, but it's like only in his crotch maybe? Well that's where the alien tire is.
Starting point is 00:44:11 And then he's like, I'm out here. Fuck this place. He just leaves. Oh, it's so good. Yeah. It doesn't make a lick of sense. No, I would it? Don Doller. Cut to Jamie saying to somebody, I'll take the dirt bike to the doctor's office?
Starting point is 00:44:30 Yes, they're like, he's like I'm only five minutes, they're going to Jarrett'sville. Yeah. We're just five minutes away by dirt bike. Why does the police station have a dirt bike? I think that's not uncommon for rural police stations. Okay. Yeah. Are you a rural police officer? Are you still listening? Tell me if you have a dirt bike. I grew up in rural Pennsylvania. Here we are. You've seen
Starting point is 00:44:56 dirt bike cops? No. No. Wow. So as they're at the doctor's office, Jamie's there on his dirt bike. Two guys bring in Susie. Maybe so- I have all these notes about Susie. Who is Susie? Susie is Jamie's partner who was killed by Draga. Yes, okay, okay, got it. The woman in the great unbutton shirt that was just tied off of the waist. Yes, his face when he sees Suzy Jamie's face. He's, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi is thi is thi's thi's thi is thi. thi. thi's thi's thi's thi's thi's thi's thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. th. th. th. th. Jamie's th. Jamie's th. Jamie's th. Jamie's th. Jamie's th. Jamie's th. Jamie's th. Jamie's th. Jamie's thi's thi's thi. Jamie's thi. thi. thi. thi. thiaa'a'a'a'a'ea'ea'ea'ea'ea'ea'ea'ea'ea'eathe great unbuttoned shirt that was just tied off of the waist.
Starting point is 00:45:25 Yes, his face when he sees Susie, Jamie's face, he's so sad. Yeah, I even know this is Jamie it shook. And he's like, are you sure it wasn't the alien and Dr. Ruth is like, oh, Dr. Ruth is like, no, I'm sorry, she was strangled. Someone murdered this bitch. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. Yeah, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, thi. Yeah, thi. Yeah, thi. Yeah, thi. Yeah, thi. Yeah, thiiiiiii. Yeah, thiii. Yeah, thi. Yeah, thi. Yeah, I thi. Yeah, I thi. But it's like we've established that the alien can't strangle. No, he has hands. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:45:51 Then there's a fist fight between Jamie and Drago. I wouldn't be the shit out of him. I would not expect Jamie to win that fight. Oh, really? What? Come on. Ja's a tough man. No, what is Jamie's life? Like he doesn't work for the police. Like why is he, who is he? He's just like a junior detective, he really wants to get under the force.
Starting point is 00:46:11 Okay, he's like a, you know Jamie. Okay, he's like a child who's doing an internship. Yeah, he's like in Rottie but for the cops. His eyes are so fucking close together. Guys, I know this is a shitty thing to say, his eyes are so close together. You know why? Why? So you can focus on the crime. Yeah, that's fair. During this fight that he's having with Drago, there's like a fist cam that's happening where you like see yourself hitting the other person? It's very, very fucking good. That's your POV shot, Katie. Oh, it's so good. This scene ends with Jamie just smashing Drago's head onto the ground and he's leaking everywhere.
Starting point is 00:46:55 Yeah. Yeah. But he's not dead. He's like, Jamie's above just killing a man. Why, though? I don't know, he kills him later. It's fine. Yeah, it's funny. He kills him within like three hours of this happening. Cut to the sheriff and Lisa in the car and one of them goes, there's something in the road. And the other one goes, it's a body. Yeah, body on the side of the road. Probably just some other towns persons whose hot dogs are on the outside, we never find out. So we get this chase scene where the sheriff falls into the ravine and cuts his leg up? Yes, like he is hanging. The sheriff is hanging from like a tree branch. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:39 And he's like, Lisa, just go. Like that's not in the police manual. I don't think he can't do a pull up. He he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, the, the, the, the, th, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, too, too, thi, too, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, too, the the the the the the the the the the the the the the tho, the the tho, tho, tho, tho, the tho, the thoooooooo.e. We's, thoooooo. And, thoooooooo. And, too. And, too,. I don't think he can't do a pull up. He can't get himself out of there. Like you can't just leave him. No fitness award for him. He's doing a real like I've done me, have me, thing. But he's also doing, like it also felt like, hey, why don't you keep running?
Starting point is 00:47:56 And maybe that thing will run by me and I'll be fine. she's you. Yeah, but she keeps running and then eventually she runs back into the sheriff. Yes she does. How? She just runs in a circle I guess? I don't know but he says just get me somewhere. Yes he says let's go to the doctor's house let's take me to Ruth. And she goes let's go to my house instead of the doctors. He goes, okay I don't care. But like the doctor has a medical equipment and Lisa does not. She immediately is gonna sexy take his pants off. She takes us, she goes, let's get these pants off, takes his pants. She's so fucking Baltimore.
Starting point is 00:48:38 Like, I cannot overstate her accent and I cannot overstate how much joy it brought me. Oh it's delightful, delightful. She looks into his crotch area where he's been stabbed and said that's a nasty gash there. Yeah. And then he said I've had three kids reach. He's ha ha ha ha ha ha. So she takes off his pants and then she's like I guess I'll just take off my shirt too. She's not wearing a bra. She's not wearing a bra. She's she's she's she's she's she's she's she's she's she's she's she's she's she's she's to wear she's to wear she's to wear she's to wear she's to wear her her to wear. She's to wear her to wear. She's to wear. She's to to to wear. She's to to wear her. She's to to to to have to have to have to have to have to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to have to to to have to have to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to their their. She's their their their their their their her. She's their their their their their their their their their their. She has their her. She's their their her. She's, I guess I'll just take off my shirt too. She's not wearing a bra. She's not gonna take a shower. I would wear a bra to be a cop. It's not like she has no boobs, she needs a bra and she's gonna be running.
Starting point is 00:49:17 She's jumping over fences and walls and shit like you want to have that shit contained. She takes her top off and her tits are like an inch from his face. And like you could just see him be like, oh yeah, babes. I guess I never really noticed how attractive you are. I never noticed you're a very attractive girl. So they start making out and oh no. At this point, I just whispered she's damaged So at this point the Wi-Fi went out in our house and the movie stopped and I was like, no I'm gonna miss this.
Starting point is 00:50:07 You didn't miss much. It came back on and it is top 10 most awkward sex scenes I've ever seen in a movie. I mean, I guess no one needs to evacuate the town now, like they're just, now they're just doing this. Yeah. Yeah. Okay, so this is, I mean, yes, you're saying it's one of the most the most the most the most the most the most the most the most the most the most the most the most the most the most the most the most the most the most the most the most the most the most the most the most the most the most the most the most the most, you're saying it's one of the most awkward sex scenes you've ever seen this because the actors are awkward But also the shooting is awkward where like there are just like hands on parts of bodies where you're like what part of a body was that?
Starting point is 00:50:35 And just just squeezing them like they're testing the ripeness of that part of the body. Yes, what part of a body is that? I don't know. I don't know. Abdomin, I don't know what's going on. Who can say? I just have a note that says, oh Don Doller, sensual, seductive. Oh, so seductive. You think Don Duller's ever fucked? Oh, hell yeah. Don Dolar? Are you kidding me? More than the Cronenbergs? I feel like the kids fucked. And the kids fucked. The kids fuck. Brandon knows what it is to fuck. David, mm-mm. The man whose fathered a child has no idea. Three children. Cut two cut too. The mayor and Mary Jane. Mary Jane is piss drunk. And so's the mayor. They're both staggering around. She's like, Birdie, I want another drink. I fucking love you, Mary Jane. She's my favorite. She's the best. So Stephen... Oh oh go on.
Starting point is 00:51:45 They are in this house of like fake plants and portraits and landscapes and just the weirdest art you've ever seen. Yeah. And there's a knock on the door, it's Stephen. And immediately Mary Jane, she's like, hey, come down and sit on the couch, we'll have a good time. Just like, I will threesome the fuck out of this situation right now. Yeah, she's like, Stephen came to have a little drink with us.
Starting point is 00:52:08 She was giving me a Goth energy at this point. Yes, we can have a little party just the three of us. It's like, Mary Jane, you could, you could threesome better than this. This is odd choice. Between Bernie and Stephen, Stephen is Perry Hill, Maryland this fucking slim pickens? I guess if Lisa's going for her Jack Cinder maybe. Yeah, because also Mary Jane tries to kiss Stephen, which is just pure desperation. She's also damaged. That's the one, yeah, that's the one that she said.
Starting point is 00:52:43 Oh, okay. Okay. That's the one, yeah, that's the one that she said. Oh, okay. Yeah, yeah. And like, in this scene, I'm just like, please, please, please let her live. Like, we keep getting shots of her and then it comes back, but like her drink keeps getting more and more full every time that we cut back. That's the power of alcoholism. You could just fill the glass up with your mind. I guess so. I guess so. When she goes downstairs to look in the closet or something,
Starting point is 00:53:13 and the mayor gets up to go after his robe, his robe is already filthy? It's stained and then it's really worn around the butt, like that you can tell that someone has been wearing this for at least a decade. That's the budget, right there. Why is it stained? There are like red stains on the back of it. I don't know. I assume he got killed and they're like, do it again? Because she has then been sliced all to hammy pieces by the monster by the alien.
Starting point is 00:53:47 She's all cut up and dripping. Yeah, she's done. I'm bummed for that, but she's done. And then what does the alien do to the mayor? He rips his damn head off. It's very good paper mache. It's so good. Yes.
Starting point is 00:54:00 He rips his head off. And then itthe head is just lying on the floor going, Oh And then it like pans to a portrait on the background of an oil painting of a rooster and I was like, Where did you get these? Who painted these? And that's just saying he's no longer the cock of the walk. Oh, okay, it was symbolism. You're right. It was symbolism. That was symbolism.
Starting point is 00:54:29 Yeah, okay, got it, got it. So the sheriff comes in with a deputy and he will not let her look. Yeah, because he loves her now. He finds them. And this one really hurts even though he's seen a lot of bodies of his constituents today. He wasn't this shook by Wilton's death. No. So we figure out that Jamie now has a plan to execute or to electrocute the alien. Yes. But like because not only is the Ruth's house a hospital slash doctor's office slash morgue, it also seems to be a part of a power station. I mean everything that can happen
Starting point is 00:55:12 at Ruth's house happens there. I mean... I don't know. They're going to go to the doctor's house because the alien has been there before and knows it. Right, so Jamie is like, well look he got electrocuted before, which I know even though I was not there when it happened. So gunshots do not hurt him, but electrocution does. So we have to go get a coil from the power plant? Sustation, something. Sure. I don't know how electricity works, so I'm being honest with you. Sure. It's magic. Lisa, the deputy, is just, they leave her by herself. She's just hanging out by herself,
Starting point is 00:55:51 thinking about the sheriff, whose pubs, I imagine, look exactly like his haircut. Just a crotch filled with steel wool. Just like the curliest gray shit you've ever seen. And Drago shows up. Yeah, somebody's staring at her from the woods and I was like, is it the alien? Is it a pervert?
Starting point is 00:56:12 It's a pervert, yeah. He comes out and he's like, stand still. Why? Yeah. Yeah. And then, I couldn't tell if he was like a sexually assault her or just beat her up. Well, he does rip a couple buttons off her shirt, but he's also punching her, which I was like, ACAB and all, but come on. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. A. C. A. A. A. D. A. A. A. D. A. B. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. Yeah. Even Ivan Trago. Well, he was a product of his environment. It's true. It's true. If you's can change. Change.
Starting point is 00:56:52 Remember how Gorbachev stood up and just started clapping? What a great movie. Go back and listen to that. Oh no, it's on our Patreon, never mind. So the Sheriff hears something he's left Lisa alone in this dark dark area. Yeah she's all by yourself and the things he hears is her being punched. Yes! So he sneaks up yeah and then Drago starts shooting the shit out of the sheriff.
Starting point is 00:57:25 Because he's so fucking slow. Yeah. And then Jamie shows up and shoots Traco and just blows a hole in his fucking chest. I mean, he had it coming though, right? And everyone's like, mah-wom. And the sheriff's like, did he do anything to you? And it's like, yeah, her face is really busted up. You're just asking if he's fucking slow.. Yeah. Yeah. he he he he he he he he th slow. he he he he th slow. th slow. he th slow. he th slow. th slow. th slow. th slow. th slow. th slow. th slow. th slow slow slow slow slow slow slow slow slow slow slow slow slow slow slow. th slow. th slow slow slow slow slow slow slow slow slow slow slow slow slow slow slow slow slow slow slow slow. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he th. He he th. He th. He's th. He's th. He's th. He's th. He's th. the the. the. the. the. So, the the the the the the the mwah, mwah. And the sheriff's like, did he do anything to you? And it's like, yeah, her face is really busted up. You're just asking if he like defiled her.
Starting point is 00:57:50 Like, he's like, did anybody else besides me, fuck you tonight. Are you still clean? Oh, gross. And then Roos comes over and is like, we've got to get you out of these these these these these these these these these these these these these clothes. Why did she shit herself? Why did she have to take her clothes off? Because she's been attacked in these clothes is going to be an uncomfortable memory. And Lisa's like, yeah, I got some street clothes in the trunk. Lisa says so. And Lisa says so. Does she say that? Yeah. Okay, we missed that because we were like, whose clothes are these? Are these Ruth's? Because suddenly she's wearing like a tank top, no the th. th. th th th th tip. the tip tip tip tip tip th. their tip th. th. th. thi thi. thi. the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, is th. It th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It is th. It, th, th, th. It, th. It, th. th. th. It, th. It, th. It, th. It's th. It's th. It's the, the, the, the, to be to be to be to be to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to the the. the. the., we missed that because we were like, whose clues are these are these roots? Because suddenly she's wearing like a tank top, no bra. Like a cammy? Yes, a cammy, no bra and bell bottoms. And like kicky-heeled boots. Why would she have those in her
Starting point is 00:58:38 trucks? It makes more sense that they were roots. That makes no sense. Why wouldn't you keep on your active wear cop shoes? Why would you put on these high-hilled shoes? It's Ruth's Club and outfit as far as I'm concerned. Also in this scene, the crickets are so loud you cannot hear the dialogue for shit so you don't, you really don't know. And they're Baltimore crickets, they're eating like half their chirp. Oh my god, they're so, their their their their their their their their their their their so so so loud. So, their. So, their. So, their. So, their. So, their. So, th. So, th. So, their. their. their. their. th. th. thi. thi. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. the. the. theeeeeeei. their theeiiiiiiiiiiiiii. their their theeeeeeee chirp. Oh my god they're so they're so loud. So they hand out guns why the alien cannot be hurt by guns? You never know. You never know. That's the American way. You never know you might need a gun. And they give Stephen a gun.
Starting point is 00:59:17 He gets more responsibility than the actual cop because she's a lady. Stephen do you know how to use a gun? Well I've the the the the the the the the their their their their their their their their their their their th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. I I've th. I've th. I've th. th. th. th. I the. I the. I the. I the. I the. I the. I the. I the. I the. I the. I they the. I the. I the. the. So, the. So, the. Stephen, do you know how to use a gun? Well, I fired a shotgun. I've got one in the trunk. What is this magical trunk you have, Lisa? It's full of camisoles and shotguns. And ammo. An ammo, yeah. So there's this really long, tense, setting up the electrical wire scene. They're just showing us every character over and over. Well. Well. Well. Well. Well. Well. Well. Well. Well. Well. Well. Well. th. I I I. I. I. I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I' than, I' than, I've than, I've than, I've th. I've than, I've than, I've th. I've th. I've than, I've th. I' th. I' th. I've the the the theat theat theat theat thii theat theat thi thi thi theat thi thi the. I've the. I've electrical wires scene. They're just showing us every character over and over and over and over. Every character setting up
Starting point is 00:59:49 electrical wires. Yeah they're just setting up wires. Some of them and some of them aren't doing that. Some of them are just standing. What happens when they finally are turning on the electricity to electrocute the alien? Well, first the alien kills Stephen. Oh, right, right, right. And Ruth's all inconsolable. Yes, it breaks Stephen's neck and tosses him, and then Ruth is so, so, so, so sad.
Starting point is 01:00:16 And then Lisa comes over and starts firing her a gun in the wrong direction, which doesn't matter. Doesn't matter because it won't help anyway. If you fire it hard enough it might come all the way around the globe and hit him in the back. Keep shooting dickheads. Oh my god. So they've set up the wire. Yeah. Oh and then there's just this random new guy that's running around. Who is he? The guy with the and the little soul patch? Yeah, who is that? He's just the guy who's gonna die from the alien. Wait, I thought that was Jamie. No, Jamie is still setting up the wires. Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay. Because Jamie has to hold the wires to kill the the the the alien, which it does. Jamie has to th is the the th is th is th is to th is to to the to to to to th. to to to the to to th. to to th. th. to thu. thu. to thu. to to to to to to to to to thu. thi. thi. thi. th. th. th. th. th. thi. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. Yeah, it's so he has to hold the wires to kill the alien, which it does. Jamie sacrifices himself and he gets shocked by the electrical current.
Starting point is 01:01:13 When Jamie gets all burnt up from the electrical current, he looks exactly like the alien and it's hilarious. My notes are just say like, no, Jamie's eyes were not that far apart. And then the sheriff and Lisa are holding each other, the end. The alien explodes and then they're holding each other. Yep, that's the movie. That's the movie. Did we do it? Did we explain it to them? You can't, you can walk through a doler piece? Yeah. You can't explain a dollar piece.
Starting point is 01:01:48 You have to experience. It's experience. Yeah, you're right. You're right. Yeah, I do, I do. Yeah. Give me a rating on this movie. Ten.
Starting point is 01:01:57 This is a fucking ten. It's the best movie I've ever seen in my entire life. I have never seen a better movie. This is better than Childs Play 2. It's the Childs Play 3 of movies. No, Childs Play 3 is shit. We did that. Remember on our show, our show here we did it maybe like 50 episodes ago. You don't remember? Or maybe 200. Who can say? This is, ah. This is exactly like what you want a horror sci-fi movie to be made on a low budget by someone who fucking loves it. Just like you feel so, it just feels like someone who just loves it so much.
Starting point is 01:02:37 The idea of like scoring this movie from a video store when you're like 12 years old and you're like you're gonna have a sleepover and you have have no idea you just think the box art looks cool oh yeah and you take it home and it is the weirdest thing and you're also 12 and you get to see titties here all horned up and you're like oh man alien's a little bit scary I guess he has a lot of extra teeth he does a lot of teat. He does something this movie. He's this movie. He's this movie. He's this movie. He's this movie. He's this movie. He's this movie. He's this movie. He's this movie. He's this movie. He's this movie. It's delightful. This is such a good movie. We have given such lower ratings to critically acclaimed films. And then this, but this is where it's at for us. This is really where it hits us.
Starting point is 01:03:15 Like, I don't know. If you're a fan of horror, and you don't like this, I don't know what to tell you. No. If you don't like fun, it's your business, not mine. If you don't like fun, you're not listening to our show. No, no, no, no. No, you're leaving us shitty one-star reviews. Meeh.
Starting point is 01:03:35 Meh. M to 34 seconds, suck my fucking flaps. Suck them so hard. Katie. Yeah. We got an email from a listener that I would like to read to you right now. You just want me to stop ranting, don't you? No, I mean, go, go. Let me hear the listener email.

Starting point is 01:06:12 Yeah. Wow. I miss this guy so much. That's amazing. They were such nice people. Were they are, they're not dead. They just live in Washington DC, which is a whole four hours from us. Dan stayed with us and I have some of the old wear of ambulance church and I was like, hey man, let me give you a shirt. And he's like, oh is it one of those? Because I already have those.

I was more sober in that one and I apologize for my behavior. And this, the free thing, I should probably be, we should probably reverse these, but too bad. Yeah, yeah, I mean, it's all, it's all joy. It's all beautiful. You get what you get, you know they're a fit. Because in Pittsburgh those things rhyme. You can say this.

Yes, and every Saturday night they watch the movie that we are going to cover on Monday. So if you want to watch the movies and you don't want to watch it by yourself, watch it with a bunch of really fucking nice human beings. I was so vindicated that they all did not like session nine.
