Starting point is 00:00:00 Hello, and welcome to another episode of WhereWulf Ambulance. I'm Katie and I'm here with my friend Alan. Hey Alan. Hello, Katie. How are you? I'm pretty good. Good. And yourself? I'm fine. I'm feeling very religious. I'm feeling the pool of a god, but I don't understand why. Luckily, there's just a sparkly thing in this movie, not really a god. Well, here's the thing. I'm really into worshipping brain, pixel lava? I don't know. What movie are we talking about? I don't know. That could be anything. We're talking about the 1984 Stephen King Thriller.
Starting point is 00:00:51 Action Adventure? Action Adventure. Is that Indiana Jones? Indiana Jones. The Temple of Doom. Stephen King's Indiana Jones. I would watch that very much. I think that's called the Dark Tower series. Oh, interesting. I've never read them. I'm sorry. I don't, I. I. I th, I th, I th, I th, I th, I th, I th, I th th, I th that very much. I think that's called the Dark Tower series.
Starting point is 00:01:05 Oh, interesting. I've never read them. I'm sorry. I don't know. I just am agreeing with you. Children of the Corn. Children of the Corn. The original. Not one of the eight to ten sequels, six to eight. Not sure. I think there's like eight sequels and a remake, but there was a short film before this movie based on the short story by Stephen Kang? Stephen Kang? You know it would be really funny? If we started writing horror stories as Stephen Kang, you know there's like that studio that puts out movies like transmorphers, oh yeah, I'm thinking it's Transformers. This is our, this is our, everything just is like slightly eastern influence. It's not Stephen Kang.
Starting point is 00:01:48 You all been in that hotel in the Shiny? It's the Shiny. Stephen Kang, it's not bad. Stephen Kang, the more I say it, the more I like it. We should make Stephen Kang rules t-Tee-shirts. That's really good and then be sued into oblivion. We right now have $10 to our in the Wear-Wambulance Slush Funds. So if you want to support Wearwulf Ambulance, please contact us via Facebook or email or
Starting point is 00:02:14 Instagram messaging or Twitter. Just let us know. Yeah. If you want to get in on the ground floor of Stephen Kang. We would love to advertise your things. things. to check real quick and see if Stephen Kang.com. If not, I will buy it. Because what we need is more websites. Well, I got auto-corrected to Stephen King.com. That might be a problem. Well, we'll come back to it. If you type in Stephen Kang. It takes you to Stephen King on my phone. So if you want to read The Shiny by Stephen Kang, let me sponsor us so we can take off from our jobs and write those. It's going to be bad.
Starting point is 00:02:50 It's going to be real bad. Really, really bad. We're not going to try that hard though, I think is probably the trade-off. Much like children of the core. You think no one was trying. I thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi. thi. thi thi. thi thi. thi. thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi, you can thi, you can thi, you can thi, you can thi, you can th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi, you can thi, you can thi, you can thi, you can thi, thi, thi, thi, thin, thin, thin, thin, thin, to to thin. to to to to to to to to to to to to to thin, to thi. thi, what was happening in this movie, but we can get into that. This movie is paced so strangely. The first hour, nothing happens except that kid gets nailed by the car, which I loved. I loved. There will be spoilers. You guys should watch this. It's for freezies on Netflix. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:17 Not for free. I mean, you're paying for it for it. You don't. You. You. You. You. You. You. You. You. the money. the money. the money. the money. the money. to. to the money. to the money. to the money. the money. the money. to th. th. th. to th. to to to to to to th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. away. The charge is built in. So apparently King wrote the script for this, and then it was rejected for a much bloodier script. Oh, really? Yeah. Did you never read this short story? Nothing I remember. I think the short story dealt more with like the back story to the kids gone berser. Okay. Okay. He wrote the script originally for this and it was rejected for a script by Jeffrey Goldsmith that was bloodier and less backstory based. And I bet he threw a little temper tantrum about that. Probably. Yeah, yeah, yeah. He seems to do
Starting point is 00:03:51 that. You know it doesn't? Stephen Kang. Don't give a shit with you get to stories. Steevan King goes with the flow. Steeping just wants money. I picture Stephen Kang just vaping and agreeing with whatever you want to do. I love Stephen Kang. Oh man, if you're a listener name Stephen Kang, let us know. We are a big fan of yours. Also, do you want to get in on this project with us? We will need a copy of your driver's license. So we start off this movie three years in the past, which is hilarious. Yeah, just three. All the adults the adults the adults the adults the adults the adults the adults the adults the adults the adults the adults the adults the adults the adults the adults the adults the adults the adults the adults the adults the adults the adults the adults the adults the adults the adults the adults the adults the adults the adults the adults the adults the adults the adults the adults in the adults in the adults the adults the adults the adults the adults. the the the their. their. their. to their. their. their. the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the. the. the. t. tea. tea. tea. I. I. I. I tea. I thea. I thea. I the. I the. I, just three, just three. All the adults in town are in church, and two kids,
Starting point is 00:04:27 or no, one kid. One kid, because the sister is sick, yeah. Job, aka Joby, which is a terrible nickname. And also, why do all of these kids have biblical names? Like, they were just a town, and you know they wasn't, I don't know, it doesn't matter. There's a lot of a Midwest of phobia going on in this movie. Okay, okay. Well, I don't know if you know this. Stephen Kang is from Maine. Our Stephen Kang is from Vermont. All the adults are in's 1981. There are hospitals.
Starting point is 00:05:05 Listen, as medical people as we are, as an ambulance company, take them to a hospital. Where will have ambulance? We'll come pick her up. Medical technicians, we'll come get your child and take them to the hospital. Unbelievable. 104 degree, like you're causing brain dhing. She's writhing, she's writhing in pain. So anger, but we don't find that, but we don't that, but we don't that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, thi, thi, th, th, th, th, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, th. th. ta, ta, ta. ta. ta. ta. ta. ta. ta. ta, ta, ta, ta, their but we don't find that alone until they go to the cafe and dad calls home. And then we see that all the teenagers are rising up. This scene is so brutal. I forgot how brutal it is. Yeah. It's pretty good. They poison the coffee so that no one can fight and then they straight slit everybody's it's really good with like farm tools and machetes. What they had on hand. Yeah. I do have to say that like when we first meet Malachi who is the main sort of baddy, he's the heavy in this movie.
Starting point is 00:05:48 Okay. And then there's the other bad guy Isaac that will meet. We meet at this point too because he walks up to the window with his little Amish hat on. Yeah, he's also dressed like a weird gangster. Like he's wearing a pinstripepepepepepepe. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thripepepeen thi. thi. thrivede, thre-like thrivede, thrivede, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th, th, th, th, th, th, th,, Amishy, it's more Brooklyn. Well, he came from somewhere else, we learned later on. I did not know that. Thank you for telling me. Yeah, he was a child preacher who came to town and brought his weird child preachingness. And everybody believed him because he was a child preacher. Yeah. His voice really bothers me. It's because he was a grown-ass man in this movie. What? Like, what was going on with him?
Starting point is 00:06:25 He graduated high school in 1977. This was made in 1984. The actor? Yeah. What? What? He also, you might know him as a cousin it, from Adam's family values.
Starting point is 00:06:37 I did not. Wait, you're telling me? Is he just time? He's a to'loste, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, th, th. th, th, th, the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th, th, th, th, th, th.... th. th. th. thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi I'm a monster. No, I'm not. I thought he was a child. I believed him as a child. I'm not a monster. He comes off as a child. Yeah, yeah, for sure. But it's just like, I think he was affecting a voice or maybe that's just his voice. He was like 23 years old. Yeah. Everybody else seemed to be, uh... He seems. He seems a crazy. Oh, while we're talking. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. Yeah. thi. th. th. th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. he. He's he. He's he. He's he's he's that are in this movie before we get to meet 30-something and Sarah Connor from Terminator. Later on in the movie we meet the character Amos, who is Chuck from Return of the Living Dead, the suit jacket punk. Oh, nice. I was stoked. I was like, where the fuck do I know
Starting point is 00:07:16 that dude from? And why would I? Because he's in the best movie? So yeah, then we meet, I want, let's be clear. He is a doctor. This guy is a doctor, doctor, Dr. M.D. Dr. 30 something. I don't know what his name is, I don't hear. Oh, Bert, Bert, she yells at 117 times. We meet Bert and Vicki. And she's just trying to get boned. She, admittedly, I would not go th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th thi thi thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the. the. the. to, the. to, to, the. to, to, to, thi. the. thi. the. thi. thi. Dr. Dr. Dr. Dr. Dr. Dr. Dr. that. And he's just got all the shoulder hair. She, admittedly, I would not go to the bone zone with anyone who woke me up with one of those party blowers in my fucking ear. I have the note that Sarah Connor is a wake-up dick blowing that party
Starting point is 00:07:57 blower in his ear. For sure. And she's just trying to get him to commit, he doesn't want, to commit to this guy. He's kind of the the to. to. to to to to to to to to to to the to th. S. S. S. S. S. S. S. S. S. S. S. S. S. S. S. S. th. th. th. the th. th. th. the th. th. S. th. th. th. th. th. I. I's, th. I. This movie... Also, like, don't commit to this guy, you kind of sucks. Yeah, this movie. This movie not a fan of ladies. Or at least not this lady. Who would the thought? In a Stephen Kang movie. I gotta stop saying it now. Stephen Kang. Oh, can we get Brian from Stee-Wang's. Like Wangs is what you think it is. I'm Wang and Stephen Gang. Oh boy, howdy.
Starting point is 00:08:27 I've just been doing this podcast too long. We're just all, it's all just self-referential nonsense. We're just saying words. People still listening? Thank you. So Sarah Connor gives 30 something. 30 something was a television show in the 80s for everyone who has no idea what I'm talking about? You know who he kind of looks like? Uh, the beast from Beauty and the Beast, played by Ron Perlman. Sure.
Starting point is 00:08:49 Who does it kind of look like? No one. I don't know. I can't think of it. Brian from Wangs? Maybe. Maybe. You said it was maybe a pocket knife. I was thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. th. to. to. to. th. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. th. th. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the. th. the. th. th. the. the. th. the. th. th. th. the. the. the. the. the. to. the. to. to. the. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. the. the. the. fucking lighter. It's a lighter. It's a lighter. It's Chekhoff's lighter because it comes back in the movie. I thought it was maybe a pocket knife, I was unsure.
Starting point is 00:09:09 He doesn't appear to smoke. An interesting gift. Look at it's like got some engraving that's like too, Bert. Dr. Bert, Dr. M. D. D. D. the MD. M. St. St. St. St. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. D. D. D. D. D. D. D. D. D. D. D. D. D. D. D. D. D. D. D. D. D. D. D. D. D. D. D. D. D. D. D. D. D. D. D. D. D. D. D. D. D. D. D. D. I. th. th. th. he. he. he. he. D. D. D. D. D. D. D. D. D. Oh yeah that's corny that's a corny ass gift. That's garbage. That's followed by the note she is a wacko. She is a wacko. She starts singing that weird ass song to him. Yeah about school being out. Yeah and then she's like gotta do a striptease but doesn't because I guess they wanted that easier rating. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. So they're So they're driving th a th a th a th a th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. S. S. S. S. S. S. S. S. S. S. S. th. th. S. So they're driving Thuracornfield to a place where he's going to be a doctor. Seattle. Because he's a doctor and he just nails this kid on the road. Really hard. Really hard. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:53 They're sealing on these signs for Gatlin. Yeah. And it's not on the map. So they're both looking at the map. the map. their the map. their the the the the map. the map. the the map. the map. the map. the the the the map. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the map. the map. the map. the map. the map. the map. the map. the map. the the the map. their. their. their. their. their. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. Put your maps down. To be fair, it was a long stretch of nothing. It's true. Have you ever driven through like Ida, or like Iowa or, oh my God, Kansas? Yeah, it is a, it's a rough scene. Yeah. Yeah, she hits her head when they hit the kid. And he's like, I'm a doctor. It's just a nap. He's like, just rest, just taking it.
Starting point is 00:10:27 And then he runs over to the kid who's face down, and he rolls them right over, like, not what you do either. Yeah, no. Worst doctor. You can be spinal. Dr. Md. Md. And we find out that the kid didn't di di di di di di di di di di di di di di di di di di di di di di di di di di di di di di di di di di di di di di di di di di the the the that that that that that that that that that that that to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to the the the the kid. the kid. the kid. the kid. the kid. the kid the kid. the kid the kid. to to to to to to to to to to to. I really liked it. And his eyeballs did not end up in the grill. We see that his throat has already been slit. And with the split second before he's hit, he's holding his throat as the car hits him. So yeah, someone has already murdered him. So Dr. 30-something goes off into the cornfield and finds a suitcase with blood all over it, which later, and, and, and, and, the, and, and, the, the, the, the, and, the, the, the, the, and, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, their, their, they, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, and, their, their, and, their, and, and, and, and, their, and, and, and, and, and, is is is, and, is, is, is, is, is, is, is, is, is, is, is, is, is, is. And, is, is, is, is... And, is, is, is their, is their, is their, is their, is their, is their, is their, is their, is they. they. they. they. theyr. they. theyr. they. their they. their their their their their, is the cornfield and finds a suitcase with blood all over it,
Starting point is 00:11:05 which later does not have blood all over it. Yeah, they're just touching it with their hands. I do like that scene actually of he steps into the corn and just as he steps in, you can see a kid stepping out behind him. Yeah, that was really, really good. This movie does good scares for everything happening in pretty much in the daytime. Yeah, it's true. Very few night shots in this review. It's true. Here's where I have a really mean note.
Starting point is 00:11:28 I'm ready for this. On, don't, don't, don't, don't, don't, don't. Maybe he won't commit because of those shorts. Oh, come on. I said it was lean. I don't remember the shorts. They didn't stick out to me. She's wearing like knee-length, wrinkled, khaki shorts. Oh, my little, some clam diggers got on the thing? Not quite, not quite. More like safari shorts. I wish he was wearing like chubby dude cargo shorts. They were not far off. A. A. K. A. A. What I wear in the summer? Do you want because of the shorts? Are they high-wasted too? This was a very high-wasted period of time. Yeah. But she often not to, yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:08 Tie off her flannel. Yeah. And then it zooms on the body. Zoom, zoom, zoom. I'm really like that. Get it. Get there, get there. Yeah, what else did Fritz Kirch do? He did direct some episodes of Swamp Thing the television series.
Starting point is 00:12:25 You know, I love it. I do know you love that. I bet it's not. I bet it's not. There's just a lot of weird stuff. Like, they wrap up the kid in a blanket and put them in the trunk. I felt really sad wrap that body up. Find the fucking cops. Like, don't put it in your trunk. Yeah, move him off the highway, perhaps. So yeah, they put him in the trunk.
Starting point is 00:12:47 Why the fuck would you do that? Don't do that? Guys, when you hit a kid, don't put him in your trunk. Don't put him in your trunk. That just looks like, th you're the, the, the, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, thrown, thrown, thrown, tho, he just nailed him with your car. And then the rest of the time that they're in the car she's not wearing a seatbelt, which infuriates me. But he is. Yeah, you'd think after ramming that kid you'd put your seatbelt on. This was in a time before seatbelts were worn. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know, I don't know. You can do this.
Starting point is 00:13:26 Well, would we go to Sarah and Job playing monopoly? Oh, okay, okay. Or the damning indictment of crass consumerism as I labeled it. They're just like wearing like adult clothes but wearing like like stole, like a first stole and a and a like flapper hat and just and they're playing monopoly and like arguing over money and oh I didn't think about that yeah I thought about how they were wearing their parents clothes but didn't seem sad I know it's been three years but like took that shit in stride yeah I did like that um also who's paying the electric bill in this house because they're running a little record player and like, I don't know. Malikai writes a check every month for it, even though they're not allowed to be there.
Starting point is 00:14:07 So these two are kind of like going against, they don't really believe what Isaac is selling. Right. They're the two holdouts that are like, they're still, like, you're not supposed to go and play any more. You're not supposed to go to go to go to go to go to go to go to go to go to go to go to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to go to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to go to go to go to go to go their to go to go to go their their their to go to go to go to go their to go to go to go and to go and to go and to go and to go and to to to to to their to their their their their their their their..... their their their thooooooooo.... th. th. thooooooooooooooooooo., their th. th and everybody had a rope belt. Yeah why? They had access to everything that their parents had. Yeah but you got to have shunned modern society and returned to the old ways I guess. Who would have thought that wrangling children to your will would be difficult? I guess but then largely it isn't because they're all the other kids tho in the the the the their their their their the other the other their the other their the other the other thoeseseseseseseseses are other kids their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their kids are their kids are kids are kids are kids are kids are kids are kids are kids are their kids their kids their kids their kids kids kids their kids kids their kids their kids are. their their their their their their their their their their their their their their. their. their. their. their their the is that when they show the kids in the cornfield and in the clearing doing like the religious stuff it's very
Starting point is 00:14:48 young kids but any time something like physical needs to happen it's like 22 year old dudes. Yeah yeah Malachi and all those like the the the adult kids. The adult kids who are supposed to die on the first day of their 19th year but some of them don't like there's one guy th that was that was that was that was that was th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th the the th th the the th th th th th th th th. th. th. th. the the th. th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I first day of their 19th year, but some of them don't. Like there's one guy that was legit like 35 years old. He's just like looking over his shoulder in one scene and he's clearly an adult. Five o'clock shadow. Yeah, he does. He's like this very thick jaw, you know. So they take the body of the kid in the car and they go meet meet the the the the the the the the the their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, th...... T, th. T, their, their, th. I's, thi, th. th. th. the, the, the, the, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, thi, thi, thi, th. I, th.. He, th... He, th........................................................................................................... the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the car and they go meet the harbinger. They go meet the guy at the gas station. This scene is so fucking annoying.
Starting point is 00:15:26 It's like 20 minutes of the movie and there's no purpose. It has no purpose. They get out of the car and got no gas. I don't want gas. I got no diesel either. Well, sir, have you looked at this vehicle? It does not run on diesel. This Lamons is not a diesel Lamons. So he tells them to go to Hemingford, which is 19 miles away and they're like, but Gatlin's only three miles away and he says, well they got religion there, you don't want to go
Starting point is 00:15:53 there. So he did cross the children because they wanted them the outlanders to be sent to them. They wanted them interlopers for sacrifices. What is an outlander? Someone who doesn't live in their land? Ah, can there be only one? That's a highlander. Oh, damn it. They kill the old man. And his dog.
Starting point is 00:16:14 Before that, they kill Sarge, his dog. He shouldn't have run to the corn. No, what are you doing? The old man does? What's that? Hoodlatches ain't worth a damn, blow over and a bad fart. Wow, I miss that and I'm almost glad that I did. A bad fart. That leads me to believe he has a rating system for his farts. That was a seven. Oh, bad fart, bad fart.
Starting point is 00:16:40 I guess we all have that moment sometimes though, don't we? Wow. So yeah, they killed the dog and we don't see the dead dog's body, we just see the bloody handkerchief that was around the dogs. Yeah. That they put in the hood of his truck. It wasn't a bad fart at all. No. It was bad kids. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:00 And then they take all their farming supplies and the with them. Yeah. Poor buddy. Yeah. Why, I guess because he crossed them. Yeah. But how do they know? Because they're always listening? OK. They seem to be they're always around when anything's happening. OK.
Starting point is 00:17:12 Though they never notice that these. No, I guess Malikai eventually does notice that these two kids are going to play in the youngest, has the sight. She has like the, because, you know, Stephen King loves a magical girl. He loves, yeah, magical children. In general, too, it's just like, but you're right about it being magical girls. God, little weirdo. Stephen Kang wren't wrike, the toys. Stephen Kang's, I kitt in a the gait in your grave. Oh, thii, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, thi, thi, thi, th, th, th, th, th, th, thi, thi, thi, thi, th, thi, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, the thi. the the magical, thi. the the the magical the thi? Maybe. I kit in your grave? A kit in your grave?
Starting point is 00:17:45 I kit in your grave. Stephen Kang's, I get in your grave. Another note of the couples doing the wrong thing. Yeah, this is when they're driving around, like, checking things. Each time they stop somewhere, Dr. M. D. D. D. G. D. th. their their their their th. G. G. G. G. G. G. G. G. G. G. G. G. G. G. G. G. G............................................................................................................................................... know, like such a dick and he's just making all these bad choices. Yeah. Also Stephen King loves bickering couples I feel. Oh yeah, I feel like that's just a staple of his. There's that weird. of the doctor having this like flashback of what he said like, like, or he's like, thrown, the the doctor's like, thi's, like, like, like, like, like's weird here but it's safe and she's like are we safe and he's like yeah it's weird here but it's safe why like what is I don't know what is anything
Starting point is 00:18:29 maybe he has the shining too maybe is he a magical child tell me something tell me something were you to put a dead child in a to put a child in their true? Would you to put to put to put a to put to put to put to put to put to put to put to put to put to put? I'm. the the the the the the the the the the you're going to drop that child off? Or would you just go right to a place where you could drop that child off? Would you show up in a town that has no people and go, well this isn't good? I'm just going girlfriend, not wife. Those shorts. They find, the couple finds Job and Sarah in their house, or maybe just find Sarah. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And he leaves, Bert leaves Vicki with Sarah,
Starting point is 00:19:29 because why? Why would he not split up? And the car, to walk back to town. Yeah, because he's an idiot. Because that's what men do. Dumb things. Absolutely dumb things. No judgment. Yeah. But here's where we see the axe through the door, much like in the shining. It's very much the same. Worked once, work it again.
Starting point is 00:19:50 I did like that the kids were like a crack commando force because like one of them was like prying it open with a like a meat cleaver, prying a window open. One of them was cutting a screen with a like pocket knife. Yeah. They were just like they had done this a hundred times. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. the. their. their. their. Yeah. their. their. Yeah. their. their. their. their. Yeah. their. their. Yeah. their. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It.. It.............................................................. Yeah...... Yeah... Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeahthey had done this a hundred times. Yeah, exactly what they were doing. What do you think they did with all the cars that were in that town? There was none. Stuffed them full of corn somewhere? Oh, maybe. Because it's what they did to the outlanders car, the interlovers. Now, did they do that or does that the corn was like sentient, yeah, like it makes a magic path and Dr. Bert's like, I'll go down that path, you know?
Starting point is 00:20:27 Do you know what I'm saying? I do, I do. I like to think of just cornstocks like, well, it's a living and getting up out of the ground and walking to a car. Yeah, I mean, it doesn't seem out of the realm of possibility in this movie. No, this, yeah. Yeah. I was going to say this dumb movie, but we'll wait for the roar before we talk about that. Oh, I do have the note that the older I get, the more terrified I am by groups of teenagers. Oh, yeah. Teens are terrifying. I was recently on a little trip and we stopped at a gas station. It was me and like two of thiiiii. their their thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, th-a, th-a, th-a, th-a, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi. thi. thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii. thii. thi. th out of the car, and there's like six track and field kids just hanging out outside.
Starting point is 00:21:08 How did you know they were track and field? They were all wearing jackets at the track and field. Okay. I didn't know if they were just like doing hurdles. And they all turn talk to you. They're gonna talk about you behind your back. They're not gonna. And then while we were inside, they moved closer to my car and I was like,
Starting point is 00:21:31 oh, God damn it. Especially track and field kids, they're so lean, you know? Unless they had like the shop, but you just throw it from your shoulder. What's the thing on the chain? That hammer toss I think? Okay. Yeah. Is that a track and feel to it? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. All right. Oh, and then the one where they put the truck on rips off the omen is really annoying. Oh, I didn't even notice. I've... Sa'i'i...
Starting point is 00:22:10 I guess, just that's sort of like... You're right about that. Yeah, Satanic kids, we get it, we get it. Yeah, Satanic kids, we get it. Sure, sure. And they have a scene that, I feel like, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I the documentary Jesus Camp later ape where all the kids are chanting, kill, kill, kill, kill. Praise Lord, praise God.
Starting point is 00:22:30 Yeah. Pretty similar. Yeah. Then they stab doctor or doctor in the chest, but he doesn't die or really get hurt because he's a doctor. Although Sarah is the doctor, the little girl patches of all. He just lets her, you're a fucking doctor you dumb dummy. And he gets away from this group of teens it's completely Malachi's fault. Malachi comes in and he just yells like Andrew Loper
Starting point is 00:22:52 or whatever and all the kids look at him and Dr. Doctor runs away and he's like so mad about it like totally your fault. I feel like we used to play children of the corn. What? Because I have a memory this movie. the the the the the th. the the the the the the th. the the th. the the th. the th. the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the. th. th. the the the th. th. the th. th. th. the th. th. th. the th. the the the th. the the the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the. the the. the the t. t. te. te. te. the the te. the the te. the the the the the the the the the the te of the corn. What? Really? Because I have a memory, this movie came out when I was 10. It was the year I was born. And Pat Pap and his friends, friend, would, uh, no, me and my friends would like, I just had this memory of being a kid and running around and yelling outlander at each other. That's pretty amazing. I don't think we murdered any adults. You wouldn't probably remember if you did. Maybe not. Maybe not. Maybe to tamp that
Starting point is 00:23:30 down. Yeah. Maybe that's why I'm terrified of kids. Maybe. Maybe you know what's to come. I was part of a child murder cold. Have you been drawing pictures with crayons? Do you know things? I would pay money for those pictures. Yeah, they're pretty good. Yeah. Yeah, the one with like the two kids standing over two dead parents. It's pretty great. Can I tell you what my favorite scene in this movie is? Please. Dr. Doctor is hiding in a room and Malachi comes in like struts in and Dr. Doctor hits him
Starting point is 00:23:59 the knee possibly, and then turns to run away the the the the the the the the the the the th then turns to run away and runs it right into a post and I have the note that says who's a doctor now which I think is you know he's like I'm so capable I'm so capable but everything he does is wrong and then he runs right into that post I love it did you want Chris Tucker to jump down the dog like tea? Yeah I don't understand where there was that weird slapsticky thing of him just like, DONG. There is a lot of weird like comic relief in this movie, mostly centered around Job, who just like says sassy things.
Starting point is 00:24:35 And it's so forced and so bad. Job was the M&M of this movie. The what? The M&M? of this movie? Yeah. He was saying what everybody was thinking. There's the scene where, so it just keeps building and building. There's a really nice, probably the best composed shot of the film is when Job and Sarah
Starting point is 00:24:55 and Dr. Dr. 30-something were up in the top and they opened the barn like doors. the torown the toware the thoes, ths, ths, ths, ths, ths, ths, th-and, th-and, th-so, th-so, th-so, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, the, the, the, tho, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, th-so, th-so, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, they-s-s-s-s-s-s, the-s, the-s, the-s, the-s, the-s, the-s, the-s, the-s open the barn like door at the top. And it's just this perfectly framed shot of the cornfield with the crosses and like blazing torches and I was like, that's gorgeous. It is, yeah. That's the one beautiful shot in this movie. Yeah. The rest of it looks like a lifetime movie. But that one, he's fucking mailed it. It's got that plans of these kids. By berating them.
Starting point is 00:25:25 Yeah, first by berating them and then by lighting everything on fire. And then open hand slapping Malakai. Did you notice in that team he's just slapping him with an open hand? Why? Why? It's clearly not going to do anything. Because he doesn't want to hurt him, heard him. this like Church of Dr. Burt scene where he's like religion is about love religion that doesn't have love is wrong and I just tinnist watching the
Starting point is 00:25:49 prophecy for the last week's episode and I was like fuck every last bit of this I'm over it. Yeah because there's a scene earlier when they're driving in the car. Did you notice there was the Stephen King night shift? Yeah are you sure it wasn't Stephen Kang night Shit? Oh God, the night shit. That's horrifying. See, it's horrifying. But the cover of the book is a hand with gauze all over it with little eyeballs coming out of the... so we could just replace that with toilet paper for the night shit.
Starting point is 00:26:19 Very gross. Stephen Kang's Night Shits. Coming soon to a bookseller near you. Get it for 99 cents on Kindle or on candle. Our own platform. We got to get someone with software development skills. But you're right. Yeah, so he's gonna, he's gonna set it on five. Is gas a hollow real thing? I laughed at it and then I was like, maybe it's real. I'll google it while we talk here. We're skipping some stuff that we'll go back to dealing with Isaac and Malachi and all that all right but he goes to throw a Molotov cocktail and just fucks it up like royally so bad and so like doctor doctor MD Job Job Joby runs and grabs it and brings it back and goes do it right this time yeah yeah that's like part of that's when he kicks in that that that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's th the that's th th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. that's th. that's thi. thi. th. that's that's that's that's th. th. Gas a haul is a mixture of one part ethanol commonly known as grain
Starting point is 00:27:10 alcohol or beverage alcohol and nine parts unleaded gasoline so it's a real thing. But like who fucking knows that? Sounds like pretty torke on that man. Yeah. Yeah I'll tell you the story of a corn squeezing. It's this alcohol that this dude claimed that was brewed inside of a the th of a th of a th of a th of a th of a th of a th of a th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. this th. this th. this th. this th. this this th. this th. this this this this thi. thi. this th. this this. It's this alcohol that this dude claimed that was brewed inside of a engine block called corn squeezes. I don't like that at all. I feel like I just went blind thinking about that. So to back up, there's tension between Malachi who wants the group to be very rough and tumble and Isaac who's all about the ceremony of what they're doing. They're arguing over what their God wants, basically. Malachi keeps asking Isaac if God is still talking to him, and I was like, of course he is.
Starting point is 00:27:52 Why wouldn't he? Was he right all along, though? Well, I guess we can get to that, but... Okay, so Malakai convinces the other kids to put Isaac up on the cross, which they follow easily. I don't know if it's just because he's like a physical bully and they're afraid of him. Yeah. Or he's just wielded so much power that he was able to take it from like this shrieking child. I have this theory because the movie is a tight hour and a half, like they're in and out. B they're in and out. Bamb, bam. So they've they wasted they wasted they wasted they wasted they wasted they wasted they wasted they wasted they wasted they wasted they wasted they wasted they wasted. So they wasted they wasted they wasted they wasted. So they wasted they wasted they w. So they wasted they wasted they wasted they wasted they wasted they wasted they wasted the time the time the time the time the time the time the time their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their. So their. So their. So their. So their. So their. So their. So their. So their. So their. So their their their their th. their wa. th. th. th. their wa. their wa. their wa. th. their wa. their wa. their wa. their their point in the movie just has to go. Okay. Oh, yeah, yeah. Put them up with the cross. Yeah, okay, let's do this. And then I was like, is this a commentary on how children will do basically whatever you tell
Starting point is 00:28:29 them? Because I don't know how accurate that is. Well, this is a pre-rage against the machine world. Okay. Children had them.. Fen their their their their their their. Fa. Fa. Fa. Fa. Fa. Fa. their. Fa. their. their. Fa. tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. Yeah. tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. th. th. th. Yeah. th. th. Yeah. th. th. Yeah. th. th. th. th. Yeah, I'll do whatever somebody tells me. So they put Isaac up on the cross and he turns into computer lava, right? The little computer lava comes and eats him. Okay. Yeah. Was that their god? The thing that walks behind the rose? Yeah. Why did he take him then if he was like their? He was like? He was like? He was like? their? their? their? the rows. The rows, yeah. Why did he take him then if he was like there... He's the sacrifice. But he was the... Oh, cut. The... If we start looking for logic now... But he comes back. Isaac comes back, all fucked up. So ridiculous. Covered and flour.
Starting point is 00:29:19 Just fill into a bag of flour and got some oatmeal stuck to his face. Is he supposed to be burnt and that's like... I don't know. Is he ashy? I he. I. I he. I he. I he. I he. I he. I he. I he. I he. I he. I he. I he. I he. I he. I he. I he. I he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he. But. But. But he he he he he he. But... But... But... But... But... But... But... But... But... But. But. But. But. But. But. But. But. But. But. But. But. But. But. But. But. But. But. But. But... But. But... But. But th. But th. But th. But th. But th. But th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th is th is th is thi he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he he he is he is he he is he he is he he is he he he the the the the the to his face. Is he supposed to be burnt and that's like, I don't know? Is he ashy? I think he's lava now. I do like his voice a lot in that, the Malachi. Yeah. Yeah. Malachi. Malachi. He wants you to. So he, he, but he was right. Like, I mean, God, there was a monster god, and he, and he, and he, and he, and he, and he, and he, and he, and he, and he, and he, and he, and he, and he, and he th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi, th. th. th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. th. th. th. th. to th. th. th. to thi. the. thi. thi. the. the. I th. too. So he, but he was right, like I mean, God, there was a monster god and he really was hearing him
Starting point is 00:29:48 and he really was doing what he said. So he was right all along. Yeah, for sure. Cool. And I assume they had seen digital lava come before and take their sacrifices. So the kids also knew. Right. Did the digital lava come and take Amos? Or did he just, there was this a scream or something. I guess maybe we ran out of digital lava budget.
Starting point is 00:30:08 I just have the note that says, is that God? Of course it is. I see. No wonder he loves people more than angels. So yeah, they've seen digital lava come and take them before. I like when it was tremtremors for a little bit. Yeah, yeah, when he's going to pick up the Molotov cocktail, which I was getting so mad at Dr. Doctor in that scene because he's like yelling at the Job to go back to the barn.
Starting point is 00:30:34 And then he's like, how do you work the stew? Like, you can't yell at him to leave and, he yells at him to go back to the barn and Jove goes, excuse me. Yeah, because he suddenly like, suddenly, oh yeah. Just a little piss and vinegar. Here's a question. Uh-huh. How are they going to put that fire out?
Starting point is 00:30:57 It's just miles and miles of cornfield. You cannot just raise the earth. Like, that with. Um well you're a woman and he's a doctor. Oh right I wouldn't know shit about shit. I don't know shit about shit. He eventually does like beat up Malachi and light stuff on fire. He slaps him. He opens hands slaps him. It's embarrassing. Well they're they're ruffing and tumblin for a little while. Not really. I understand that they were like we probably they they they they they they they they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're th. they're they're th. they're th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. they're they're thi. thi. they're thi. thi. thi. thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. they're not thi. the. to to to to they're to thi. to they're thi. they're thi. they're thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. the. I mean I understand that they were like we probably can't have this grown man hitting a child in this movie. Yeah. Really why not? Well he's all about love. Oh right religion and love. Church of Doctor.
Starting point is 00:31:37 C. Coming to a church in Seattle soon. So they defeat it with fire and it turns into this worst effect I've ever seen in a movie. It like becomes sort of a large man and then whoofs off into the sky. Yeah. It was really bad. It was super bad. I know it's 1984 and you just got this computer. There was better better effects then. Yeah you could have done better. I mean the movie was made for $800,000. Yeah, it shows. But it grossed $14 million in the box office. No wonder they made so many sequels. They were like, oh, we've made an ATM. So they go back to the children's house where their car is and the corn has taken it, or the kids have taken it with corn. I don't know. It is still unclear to me. And he has to jump in the car to grab something. And the Stephen King's scare happens again.
Starting point is 00:32:29 Which, you know, I do like that. I like, it's sort of the carry scare, you know, of like the last... I'm a sucker for a jump scare. Yeah, I liked it. It's one of the more devoted followers of Isaac. Right and then. Funks her with the car door. Yeah, Sarah Connor has to rip in there and thunk her because you can't have a dude hitting a lady. Is that what happened? Yeah, she grabs the door and hits her. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:32:51 And like, and he's like, well, what have you done? Well, what have you're done. Oh yeah. And Sarah Connor is like, is, is, is, is, is, is, is, tha, tha, is, tha, tha, tha, tha, tha, tha, tha, tha, tha, tha, tha, tha, tha, tha, tha, they. tha, tha, their, their, th. their, their, their, their. their. their. their. their. their. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the. thea. thea. thean. thean. thean. tooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. And, and th. And, th. Yeah, they're just like, you're ours now. We're mommy and daddy. We're your new mommy and daddy. These kids have been living on their own as feral for three years. You can't just take them. When you die, we won't carry the that. Yeah, right? We'll just put on your clothes and play board games.
Starting point is 00:33:15 Also, who took care of that girl's 104? I have this, my last note about this movie says the end and then in parentheses, not really because they made six more. What a scorch of this one is. I feel like it's high highs and low lows for me. Sorry I guess we're getting into the ratings phase. Ratings. Ratings. That's good. I like that.
Starting point is 00:33:44 Can we make that the new ratings phase? We can. Okay, cool. I sort of like this movie, though it did not sound like it from the way I just described it. I'm really a sucker for evil children. I just really am. Okay. It's really attractive to me. I really enjoy it. Because I have this theory, you know, I think they might be. Children. Children. Children. Just evil. Well, okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's really th. It's really th. It's really th. It's really th. It's really th. It's really th. It's really th. It's really th. It's really. It's really. It's really. It's really. It's really. It's really. It's really. It's really. It's really. It's really. It's really. It's really. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's really. It's really. It's really. It's really. It's really. It's really. the the the the the the the the the the the the th. the the th. the the the the the the the the the the the the the, I think they might be. Children. Children. Just evil. Well, some of them. You just don't know which ones. You're talking to a guy who got a vasectomy, maybe for that reason.
Starting point is 00:34:12 Yeah. I don't want to make no evil kids. So that aspect I do like. Then you're going to love Stephen Kang. I'm very heavy on the bad kids. But so much of it is just Dr. Doctor being so annoying. I'm going to give this a six. I've seen it a couple times. I wouldn't mind seeing it again. I love the scene where the kid gets hit by a car because it's super brutal.
Starting point is 00:34:33 The diner scene is super brutal. The effects are terrible, like disgustingly bad. So yeah, I'm going gonna say six. There's a scene where Malachi cut Sarah Connor's face. Yeah. It just looks like he drew with a red Sharpie on her face. Like, and later in that scene, it's gone. It appears again later, but it's like literally in that same scene, it's not there anymore. When did you see this movie first?
Starting point is 00:34:54 Uh, I was probably like 12 or so. And then I think I have seen the the the tha tha tha thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi, I thi, I've thi. thi. thi. that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. theeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. that that that's that that that that's that's that's seen the third one also, but I don't know why. I think I might have caught it on like USA Network, you know. Is that like Halloween three, or the Howling Three when they were marsupials? Oh God, I don't know. These kids marsupials? I feel like it was just the same movie again, so I can't really be sure. I think it was just this movie. Yeah, I think it was just it was just it was just it was just it was just it was just it was just it was just it was just I was just I was just I was probably I was probably I was probably. I was probably. I was probably. I was probably. I was probably. I was probably. I was probably. I was probably. I was probably probably probably probably probably. I was probably probably. I was probably probably probably. I was probably. I was probably like 11. I was probably. I was probably. I was probably. I was probably. I was probably. I was probably. I was probably. I was probably. I was. I was. I wasthink I was probably like 11 or 12 the first time that I saw it too. The age of the like that Isaac appears to be, presumably, yeah. And it scared the shit out of me.
Starting point is 00:35:30 Yeah. Terrified me. Yeah. Did not try to me this time watching it again. I have the note as much as a child, it's pretty much a dud. I thithat's probably a great sum up of this movie. I'm gonna go five. Pretty much a dead. Yeah. Like, I was talking about it with some friends and like, I like that movie's kind of a classic, pretty iconic.
Starting point is 00:35:50 And then I think it was Mike Bolum, actually said, yeah, you never see anybody wearing t-shirts for children of the corner. Oh, that's true. It's a very good. It's a very. It's a very. It's a very. It's a very. It's a very. It's a very. It's a very. It's a very th. It's a very th. It's a very good. It's a very good. It's a very th. It's a very good. It's a very good. It's really good. But yeah, it's, this is a five. This is a, this is a middle road sort of. This is your 50 yard line to make a sports metaphor. That's right, and then you dunk it. Yeah, that's exactly what you do. Oh God, are we done with our religious rock block? Are we done?
Starting point is 00:36:25 For now, we do a horror movie podcast. This is going to come up again. It's true. We have to do the exorcist and the omen at some point. Oh, it's true. Or at least the Exorcist 3. I have never seen that. I know we discussed it, thank you. Our religious rock block. We've put away the Striper tapes, everybody.
Starting point is 00:36:47 The what tapes? Striper, they were a religious heavy battle band from the 80s. Got very popular for some unknown reason. They were very pretty. I'll show you pictures later. We are going to have a guest episode. Yeah, number 60. With Gene D. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. the. the. tape. tape. tape. tapes. tapes. tapes. tapes. tapes. tapes. tape. tape. tape. tape. tape. tape. tape. tape. tape. tape. tape. tap. tape. tap. tape. tape. tape. tape. tape. tape. tape. tape. tape. tape...................................................... have we done? On Twitter we're where the ambulance on Twitter we're where abulance. Our were where abulance. Our were werewoolf ambulance at angel fire.com. Someone's sent us a Facebook message recently saying that our werewolf ambulance ambulance.
Starting point is 00:38:01 Someone sent us a Facebook message recently saying that our wherewolf ambulance dot com page just doesn't really work anymore. And I was like, oh, I'll look into that. And then I just didn't, so I will get to that. It's just hard to do. It basically I had the episodes feeding to it. So it was like, I don't know, the last one is the happening. So it was like over a year ago. The WordPress site. Yeah, but that also feeds the wear-offambulance.com because I love to buy URLs, like Stephen Kang.
Starting point is 00:38:31 dot com. Speaking of buying things, Katie and I were discussing it, would you guys be interested in t-shirts if I promise that we will indeed mail the pins and stickers out too. Yeah, so let us know if you'd be interested in t-shirts. Yeah, gauging interest was probably whether we'll print them or not. I mean, maybe we can do an indie kickstart go-go funders. Funders? Funders keepers. Funders keepers.
Starting point is 00:38:54 Is that real? Is that real? Is that real? Funders keepers? It should be if it's not. You're just going to become a URL buyer. You're just going to be sitting on these useless URLs. But someone might come to me and be like, I'll give you $200 for funderskeepers and I'm like, sold. Let us know if you'd want t-shirts and uh... That's that.
Starting point is 00:39:14 Let us know. Come on, guys. Yeah, get on it. Why hasn't anyone emailed it? So it's hard to say. Thank you so much for listening to another episode of Wherewolf Ambulance. Bye. Bye. Bye.
