Hello everybody and welcome back to when reality hits today.
I have a special guest, one of my very best friends and cast member of the Valley.
This is Michelle Lally.
We're popping her podcast cherry.
Yes we are.
Here I am.
I know.
I'm so happy to have her on.
You guys are going to love Michelle
whenever you get to finally watch the Valley,
which is airing, premiering, March 19th.
Coming up soon.
I know! How are you feeling? Are you so nervous?
I am so nervous and so excited
because I don't know what to expect.
Oh, I'm so excited for you because I know how crazy this whole like reality TV wife is
and I'm just so excited for people to get to know you.
I know they're gonna love you.
There's so many opportunities
that are gonna come your way.
And I'm just like, I'm just so excited to see the show
because you guys probably don't realize this,
but we don't really get to see the episodes.
We had not seen the trailer. We had not seen the trailer.
We had not seen the promo video.
We saw the trailer when everybody saw the trailer.
I was nervous.
We kept being like, can we please see the trailer?
I'm going to my, for my interviews for the ballet,
like, can I please see it?
Can I please see it?
Can I please see it?
And nobody would let us watch it yet.
So yeah, like Michelle said,
we saw it exactly when you guys did.
How did you feel about the trailer?
Oh my God.
I'm reliving life once again.
I think it's good.
It, it kind of shows a little bit of my husband, Jesse Lally.
Um, you don't really get to see my side yet. So I'm really looking forward to people to see and get to know me.
I'm excited for that too, because you're amazing.
Michelle is definitely one of my very best friends.
Do you remember how the first time we met?
My memory is so terrible.
I think I came over.
Okay.
And I think I asked you like, how old are you?
And we're basically the same age.
And then all of a sudden you put music on and we both just started
dancing with each other immediately.
That's what I remember.
And we just clicked
because we liked all the same artists,
all the same song.
We both worked at Hooters.
Yes.
And then you're like, I was a Hooters girl.
I was like, oh, so was I for many, many years
while I was in college.
We just clicked instantly.
I couldn't remember exactly what day we met
or anything like that because it's been so many years now.
I mean, we've been friends for what,
like five or six years now?
I would say at least five years.
At least.
Like right before you got, you and Jesse got married.
Yeah, I think I had just gotten married and you were engaged.
So we kind of were, we met our husbands at the same time in 2015.
Yeah.
So we kind of had the same timeline.
We did.
You just, like we met them.
Actually, I think me and Jack started dating like maybe a month or two before, right?
We started dating in May.
Oh, we were October.
So was that, which one's first?
So you're first.
You started dating Jack first.
I had to count on my fingers,
like January, February, March, April.
Okay, yeah, but you got married a year before
and they have a beautiful daughter
who is almost to the day a year older than Cruz. Yeah. So her birthday is about to be four.
She's April 15th and Cruz is going to be three. Yes. Yeah. And
he's April 12th. So like that's crazy. Literally everything we
did was a year apart from each other. Yeah. So we even have to
plan birthday parties to make sure we don't do it on the same
day. Yeah. I was like, um, she was like, what day are you gonna do Chris's birthday party on?
I was like, oh yeah, I gotta make sure I tell you this
because I've already got my party planners
and everything back to, like they're already scheduled.
But it's gonna be such a fun birthday.
Okay, so I'm so excited to kind of introduce you guys
to Michelle before the show airs
so that you guys can get to know her better.
Let them know a little bit about your life,
like what you do as a career and your family.
We kind of already talked about Isabella, but.
Yeah, so I'm from LA, moved to San Diego,
been back about 10 years.
I'm in the luxury real estate market.
So if you wanna buy or sell homes, you call me.
Jessie and I actually work together
and we're also business partners.
So you'll see that on the show.
I'm also a mom to Isabella.
So I mainly, how do I say this?
I focus a lot on Isabella.
We spend a lot of time together.
Her and I love to dance.
I take her to ballet, soccer.
So it's either you see me working
or spending time with Isabella.
Yeah, you're an amazing mama.
I'm so excited for people to see.
And how cute was Isabella in the trailer when she calls out Jesse for cussing?
Of course she does, because he cusses so much.
I'm like, you can't do that in front of her.
And so she mimics me and she's like, daddy, don't do that.
You're not supposed to say that word.
She said, you can hear crew screaming in the background.
She said, um, daddy, you say that every day.
She sounds just like me.
Yeah.
Does she see herself on the trailer?
Not yet.
Oh my gosh, she's probably going to freak out
when she realizes that she's on TV.
She has no clue, but she has seen you and Jax.
And she's like, why is Uncle Jax on TV?
And she just gives me the stare, like what is happening?
And she's like, Auntie Brittany, why are they on TV?
Oh my gosh, I think she's gonna love seeing herself.
You know what I mean?
I think she's going to freak out
when she sees herself actually on a TV screen.
She's a little diva and she had no problems
with camera crews, camera people.
She loved it.
I was getting ready to ask you.
That was gonna be one of my questions.
How did Isabella react the first time
like the camera crew and everybody came over?
I was shocked.
I was, cause I've never been in this environment
and I don't know what it would be like
to have a child have, you know, random people around.
Yeah.
She thrives on that.
So she never looked at the people.
Like she knew she was being recorded.
So she was gonna be extra.
Oh my God, I love it.
Cause you would think, Cruz is like freaking, I love it. Because you would think,
Cruz is freaking out in the background,
because you would think that
she would like stare into the camera or something.
Exactly, especially for age.
Yeah. Like she's very aware,
very smart three-year-old girl.
Yeah. And nope, not an issue.
She was like, okay, we're being recorded.
So let's just dance and talk and express ourselves.
She's also a little model.
So she's kind of already introduced into that world
and she loves it.
You gotta tell everybody, she had a huge guest campaign.
Yeah, so her very first job,
we put her in an agency and her first job was with guests.
Which is huge.
Huge and she was like barely two years old.
It's absolutely adorable.
I'll have to like throw a photo up so people can see it. Yeah, it's so crazy to see how small she was like barely two years old. It was it's absolutely adorable I'll have to like throw a photo up so people can see it
Yeah, it's so crazy to see how small she was and she did a great job. I like she probably just was out there working it
Isabella is really sassy, but I love her like that's my girl which is also so funny because
She's always like gotten along with me very well guys click very clicked very, very well. But she did not like Kristen at first, remember?
Oh, Isabella tells me who she likes and who she does it.
And she has a very good intuition.
So Kristen first walked into my house
and she just gave her this stare and looked her up and down.
And she was like, I don't like that girl.
And she said it right in front of her, didn't she?
She's like, I don't like you.
Go home, please.
Oh my god. And Kristen is actually really good with kids.
So Isabella knows.
Isabella was like, that is so funny though,
because it's just funny because Isabella is so blunt
and she'll just like say whatever to your face.
Yeah. You know, she's so cute though.
I love her.
How did your families react when you told them
that you were going to be on a reality TV show?
I don't think they understood
because my family, I don't think they really watch
reality TV, so they're like,
what do you mean you're gonna be on TV?
And like, they didn't grasp the idea.
And I think just now when they saw the trailer,
they're like, oh my God, you're on TV.
Like, yeah. Did they all call you when the trailer came out?
Yeah.
What were they saying?
I mean, they're like, are you ready for this?
Because they know I'm a very like private person and I'm also more of an introvert.
Like I keep to myself and the fact that like I am broadcasting my life, my marriage, my
work, my child, like it, my work, my child.
It's a big change for me.
So they're excited, but they're just saying,
get ready for it.
Oh my gosh, yeah, get ready because people judge
the crap out of everything we do.
But that's something I'm gonna tell you.
My advice for a first time reality show coming out
is do not listen to
Everybody on like social media, especially things like reddit and different things like that because they are so people can be so mean and judgmental but like think what they don't realize is like if the things if things were turned around and
The cameras were pointed on their lives. Do they actually think that they would be perfect 24-7 never do anything wrong
Never have any drama or anything.
Like I feel like people don't realize like,
we're living our regular normal lives.
It's just kept captured on camera
and people are so quick to judge.
And we have no idea how they're gonna edit it.
Exactly.
And like we could have said something right before
right after and you really don't know the full moment
or the full story.
And not only that, but like,
me and Jax are over here talking about something.
You and Jesse could be over here talking about something.
We don't know what each other is talking about or doing,
but like on the show, I think people like expect you
to know everything that's going on,
but like, we definitely don't.
You know, does that make sense?
Like, whenever like a drama happen,
like say like when you and Kristen get into an argument
or something like that, like I might not be there
for that moment.
So I'm over here talking about something else
and like I have no idea what's going on with you guys,
but people watching the show
think that we just know everything.
Yeah, we don't.
We really don't.
But I am strong and that is the one thing
you have to be internally
because I know
people are going to dissect everything.
Everybody has their own opinion and everybody's entitled to one.
But, you know, at least I'm open and honest about everything.
Yeah.
And that's like what makes such a good reality show is whenever we are real and
we are not like faking things.
We're all real friends.
Like that's something I've always said about the Valley is that the reason why this show's gonna be so good
is that people weren't casted.
It was literally our close friends
that we asked to be on the show with us.
And the fact that I'm just so proud of you guys
for how good and open and real that everybody was,
because you never thought you would be doing
something like this.
No, and people always ask me, the first question,
when I say, oh, I just did, I just wrapped a TV show. They're like, is it real?
Is it fake? Or you guys, I'm like, no, this is real. Like, these are my friends.
These situations are real.
Real. And that's what makes it that that's why Vanderpump rules was so good in the beginning
because every situation was like so real and they're real friendships.
And that's like, that's like really the, you know, why
ride those shows are so good. And I thought really hard if I was going to do it or not,
because we were hesitant. That's not our world. We're real estate agents and we never thought of
this. And you're successful already in what you do. Yeah, exactly. So to do this, we said,
if we're going to do this, we're going to open up our lives and we're going to be okay with it, the good and the bad.
Like we're going to tell people our true story. We're not going to fake it.
We're not going to pretend that like we're amazing and so perfect and life is perfect.
Like, no, we're going to show what is good and what is bad.
Yeah. And that's what you have to do to make people interested.
And that's why I think so many people are going to relate to the cast because we all
are going through stuff.
Me and Jacks are going through stuff.
You and Jesse are going through stuff.
We're going through parenting things that are hard.
We have couples that are had just had twins.
Neon Daniel had literally just had twins.
So she's going through postpartum things.
You know, uh, Kristen's trying to get pregnant.
Janet is pregnant.
I mean, there's just so many different situations that people.
Every couple is different.
Every couple has its own problems.
We all deal with it differently,
and we all showcase what is our issue.
Exactly.
So, and that's why I know that so many people
are going to just relate hardcore to the valley.
And it's gonna be why people love it so much.
I just think it's gonna be such a success.
I mean, all the feedback that I've gotten
just from the trailer is like,
everybody is just so excited.
Yeah, and nothing has been done like this before.
It's like we have housewives,
but how many people can relate to housewives?
Exactly.
And then Vanderpump, like yes,
you guys were in your 20s or some of the, some of the guys, yeah, but this is a decade, decade later.
Yeah.
We're now married.
We now have kids.
We live in LA.
So what is that like?
And we're not like super millionaires like the housewives.
You know what I mean?
Like they're all so super rich and like married to these like really rich men,
you know, a little unrealistic.
Yeah.
Our life is like people can relate.
Exactly. And that's, I'm so excited for that. and like married to these like really rich men, you know? Yeah, it's a little unrealistic. Yeah. Our life is like people can relate.
Exactly, and that's, I'm so excited for that.

What was the most difficult part about filming for you this season?
Oh, that was so difficult.
Oh, uh, getting in arguments was the hardest for me because I don't like conflict. I don't like
to fight or yell. And there were moments where I was so angry that like, I think I even surprised
you. You did. How loud I was screaming at somebody. And I feel like that's not me, but like,
you can get me to that point, obviously. Yeah. And so I mean, I was shook whenever you started screaming.
I was like, whoa.
Everybody just looked at me like, who is this girl?
So to express that and then like get home and be like,
then you start dissecting like, oh my God, what did I do?
That's going to be on TV.
I can't believe it.
Am I going to be looked at as this girl when I'm really
this girl and just kind of internally trying
to dissect everything you can.
No. It's in the moment.
And you have to move on.
Yes, exactly.
I'm glad that you're already noticing that because I'm such an overthinker
that, you know, it can be hard to rewatch.
I'm not an overthinker.
So for me to like have to worry, like, how did that come out?
Am I going to look like a crazy person?
Yeah.
You know, but you just have to roll with it.
I mean, you were kind of pushed to your limit there.
And that's why you freaked out.
I was definitely pushed.
There was, there's a lot of drama.
Yeah, we're parents.
Yeah.
Yes, we're parents and families.
And obviously our kids come first, but there's a lot of drama that happens.
And I think you can kind of tell in the trailer that there was a lot of drama
already and that they didn't even like scratch the surface.
They really didn't.
So I'm like, whoa, I just can't wait for it to come out.
I'm so excited.
We've been talking about it for so long.
Three more weeks.
Oh my gosh, three more weeks.
I'm so excited.
Okay.
What was your favorite part about filming?
What was my favorite part filming?
I had a blast.
Like because we got to hang out even more, it wasn't a job.
It was just like, I get to hang out with you
and we get to go out and look beautiful
and just have a good, good time.
Like honestly.
And we got to take trips and do little fun things
and dinners.
We did, that's technically work, but it wasn't.
We got to get to have a lot of fun.
And hopefully we'll have even more budget next season and we'll get to go somewhere
Love it girl trip girl trip for sure next season
That is so true though. It is fun. It is a it definitely has a job, but it's so fun
We're so lucky to do what we do, you know? I think so. It's like amazing.
Okay, what are you most excited for this season?
I am excited for people to get to know me
because a lot of people know me as your friend.
Like we've been friends for years,
but like nobody knew anything about me.
So like I get to actually show people who I am.
Yeah.
As a wife, as a mother, as my own individual person.
I mean, that's pretty exciting.
I know, it's like really cool that we get to do this, right?
We do.
Isn't it kind of crazy?
Like you've seen me over all these years
like doing a reality TV show
and now like you know what we've been doing.
Like now you get to see the other side.
Yes.
And like realize what we've been doing
for all these years.
Yes, cause now I totally get it. Yeah, no clue
Yeah, like like I remember whenever I first came on to Vanderpump rules there was season four already
So the show was already kind of established by that point
But it was like I was so nervous
I barely spoke like Jack's always did all the talking is I was so like freaked out
Like I did not know anything about reality TV really
other than watching like Laguna Beach or the Hills.
You know I've never seen reality TV.
Not at all, not even like,
you never watched like Laguna Beach or the Hills.
What?
Everybody's watched the Hills.
That's why Janet always makes fun of me.
She's like, I've seen every Vanderpump,
every thing like-
Janet's a big one.
She loves all that stuff.
You have no idea anything like what you got yourself into
or what to expect.
Like I just came into it completely blind.
Yeah, well, that might be better because then you're not
trying to like mimic other people and that could also look
so fake on camera.
Do you know what I mean?
Yeah, I was just myself.
Yeah, and that's what you have to be on reality TV.
But yeah, it is crazy because now you see like what we've been doing
for all these years, you know?
Yes, the good and the bad.
Yeah, it's crazy.
Okay, you get used to the cameras
and the crew being around, obviously.
So like in the very beginning, did you feel so,
like did you feel the presence of like the cameras
and stuff a lot more?
And then did you get used to it over time?
Or how did you react?
I thought that it was going to be weird and I would be super nervous, but.
Apparently Jesse and I are pros.
Like we were very natural and it just came to us.
Like we, cause the first time we ever filmed was in our home and it was just him and I.
And they're like, just be as you would if we weren't there.
And we did.
Like we had to talk about work, about a client and it just organically happened
that we were very comfortable.
Yeah, because people don't realize like,
yeah, there's like literally a sound guy,
there's like three cameras on you,
there's a producer, there's like 10 people in your house,
there's booms up on the ceiling,
like to get every single sound,
but you like just don't even realize they're there.
You completely forget.
Yeah.
And it's people are like, how does how do you do that?
Like, like, I would never expect if I didn't know how this world worked that I would just
like forget that camera crews were right there.
Yeah.
You know, I'm really surprised at myself and you do just get used to it.
It's just like you and I were having a conversation.
Yeah.
Whether somebody's watching or not,
that's the conversation we would have.
I do love though, if I do something really funny
and I could see the cameraman like starting to giggle,
they won't like say anything out loud,
but like if I could get a camera guy to laugh during a scene,
I just know that I am doing a good freaking job.
I'm like, yes, I killed it.
That's funny.
Oh yeah, it's so much fun.
Um, what's something that you learned about yourself while filming?
Because I know for on reality TV, we're always forced no matter what.
So like, say I got into an argument with you, I'm going to have to address that the very
next day or the very next time I see you in real life.
I might not talk to you for a couple of weeks or something like that, or maybe we would talk on the phone or on
text messages.
We have to deal with our issues right then and there.
Right, yes, right then and there.
So did you learn anything about yourself while you were filming?
Yes, I learned that I'm much stronger than I think I am.
That's yes.
Like I really learned that if I feel a certain way way I'm very strong and like there's it's black and white for me and you apologize or you move forward and like I
Don't let anybody step over me and I have very strong opinions on certain things and you're gonna see that
That's what I really learned about like I did learn a lot about myself. That's awesome
I've definitely grown so much over my years on reality TV.
And then you get to like watch it back too.
And like if you make mistakes, you can like clearly see them
and you can grow from your mistakes also.
Do you know what I mean?
Like it's very, you know, kind of like therapy sometimes.
Because I kind of imagine,
cause I haven't seen myself properly.
But even already you can tell how strong that you could be,
you know, and that's awesome.
I love that.
That's like so much growth, you know?
It is.
Thank you.
And yeah, I think it's going to be awesome.
I cannot wait for people to get to know you.
OK, yeah, I'm just so proud of you guys.
I mean, as a first timer, letting the world see your issues
and marriage issues or family issues or friends issues,
like just being so open and so real.
And I just like really appreciate that.
And I want you to know how proud I am of you
because you did so good.
Thank you.
I just think like if I can benefit
or if somebody can learn from my mistake
or if people can relate to what I'm dealing with,
like why not?
Why not show the world?
It's gonna be so good,
and I cannot wait for you guys to get to know Michelle,
and I'm glad I get to kinda introduce you first, you know?
Thank you, yes.
It makes me so excited.
We're definitely the closest.
I mean, you are one of my best friends.
For sure, and I think that, like,
we've always been close,
but I think that being on the show has only brought us closer as friends.
Like we're together at least twice a week now. So even when the cameras aren't rolling, I'm always with Michelle.
Okay, I'm going to ask a couple of questions from fans because I put it on my Instagram that you are going to be on the podcast.
All right.
This is from reality ops. Who from VPR Vanderpump Rules, do you think would be a good addition to the Valley?
I love Sheena.
Yeah.
I mean, I really do.
I've always clicked with her.
Yeah.
That's my vote.
Okay.
Yeah.
I think Sheena would be great.
Also, La La.
I mean, they're also parents.
Their kids are all around the same age as ours.
You know, they all play together.
We literally went trick oror-treating with-
All of us.
All of us in Lala and Ocean.
And our kids really get along with each other.
Yeah, and I think that that would be so great.
Also, I love Tom Schwartz.
I would love for Tom Schwartz to be on
because he is just so funny.
And he's like such a sweetheart.
So yeah, the three of them, I mean, any of those three
would be amazing. My first vote is Sheena, Sheena and L, I mean, any of those three would be amazing. Yeah.
My first vote is she know, she know, and Lala.
Yeah, for sure.
Okay.
This is from, well, this is a question about Janet, but I'm still going to answer it because
Janet is going to be on soon, but her, um, she said her baby's not feeling very good
today.
So we're going to have her on another time, but this is from Kara budgles.
And she says, why does Janet look
so familiar? Has she been on anything before? So Janet has had random cameos on Vanderpump
Rules. I'm sure you'll see her in the background a lot. Yeah. Or you have seen her in the background
a lot. Yeah. And she's even had like moments definitely over the years of Vanderpump Rules.
I actually met her through Sheena. Sheena, Sheena and, and Janet were,
which I'll talk more about this with Janet when she comes on,
but Sheena and Janet were both going through their divorces at the time.
So they clicked instantly.
And then I met Janet through Sheena.
Um, but so she's also been like a co-host on, on Sheena's podcast many,
many, many times.
So that's why she looks so familiar to you guys because she has been around forever.
Okay, this is from Jill So Photo.
Did filming change the friendship?
And that doesn't mean it could be with anything.
Anybody, 100%.
Absolutely did.
I didn't think it would
because we're all already friends,
but I think once the cameras are up,
I don't know what happens,
but things get escalated and elevated
and they definitely can change instantly.
Yes, like we won't go too much into anything,
but Michelle and Kristen definitely had a lot of,
definitely had a lot of drama this season that you would have never expected though.
Yeah, I mean, and the opposite too, like I've gotten a lot closer with other cast members.
Yeah. Like it was a mix of all the things that happened. Yeah. I mean, and also the crazy thing
is is that so much has changed since we stopped filming. Like we filmed, when did we start filming?
July, end of July?
I think it was beginning of summer.
July, August, September, right?
Yes.
July, August, September is when we started filming, right?
I think so.
I'm like, wait.
So much has happened since then.
Yes, so much has happened since then
in every single couple.
And you know, that's why I think season two,
which I hope, hopefully we get.
Watch out.
Hopefully we get season two, but y'all watch out
because it's going to be crazy.

So this was a question that Janet was gonna ask you.
And I thought it was interesting for people in, you know,
LA because it's so glamorous here
and you're always selling like $40 million house.
Ask me anything.
I sell everything.
I do.
If my friend wants to buy a million dollar house,
you call me.
If we've sold things five, 10, 20.
What's the most expensive house that you've sold?
65 million.
What?
Oh my God, that's awesome.
Yes, we're gonna.
I know you're making some good commission on that.
Yes, I do.
OK, this was a question that Janet had, and I liked.
If you had an unlimited budget, what LA neighborhood
would you buy a house in?
That's an amazing question.
Yeah.
I would say two places.
Because if I have unlimited money,
I can buy more than one house in LA.
Exactly. I do love house in LA. Exactly.
I do love Malibu.
Oh.
Carbon Beach right on the ocean.
You open the doors, you walk, you know, the sand is a private beach.
Near Nobu, Malibu.
I love Malibu.
So that would be a perfect weekend.
Like that Airbnb that I had.
It was so good.
Fabulous.
So Malibu for the weekend.
During the week, I would pick Bel Air
Yeah, Lair is very central right off sunset. You can have views you can have land and you're surrounded by a
Hundred two hundred million dollar house. Oh my god
I couldn't even imagine being able to buy like a hundred million dollar home. Could you imagine?
Imagine I want it. I show these houses? I'm like, I imagine all the time. You're like, I can imagine, I want it.
I show these houses, I was like, I can live here, absolutely.
How do you feel about people saying
that you and Jesse are the most bougie couple
on the valley?
I think it's hilarious.
We like a nice lifestyle.
Yeah, I mean.
I don't think, I don't think that's a bad thing.
No, gosh, no, it's not a bad thing at all.
But I don't think you're as bougie as Jessie.
Absolutely not.
I wouldn't even consider myself bougie
because I honestly wouldn't either.
Like you can take me to a whatever restaurant
or you can take me to a three star Michelin restaurant.
Either way, I'm gonna be happy.
So like I can live both lifestyles.
And I wasn't raised like that.
Exactly.
I have very middle class, normal family.
I honestly think it's Jesse that makes you guys seem like the boozy couple.
You know what I mean?
Because even on the trailer, he's like, this is Kashmere, brother.
Don't get me wrong.
I like it.
Girl, me too.
And who does it?
Look at all my purses and stuff.
Exactly.
Who does it?
There's things that I love as well,
but I'm still just the Southern girl from Kentucky.
Exactly, I'm just a regular San Diego girl.
Were you born in San Diego or born in LA?
I was born in LA and grew up in West Hollywood
till I was 10 and then went to San Diego.
I don't like to say I'm from LA
because then people just think I'm born, you know,
into a rich family.
I went to high school here
and that's how I started my business.
No, I moved back, I didn't know anybody
and I started from scratch, the real estate market.
So you didn't have any friends
that you had still had from whenever you were
growing up here?
Not at all.
Oh wow.
So yeah, you came back just like everybody else.
I'm good.
Yeah, I'm like, definitely, I can just still go to the farm and like take care of the chickens and the cows and stuff and like a heartbeat.
And then I could come here and go with you to the Michelin star restaurant.
Exactly. And I think it's a good balance. Yeah, it is. You know, it's so funny whenever
I first moved here. So I think, I mean, this was a scene on Vanderpump rules actually.
Um, it was whenever we were at NASCAR for Ariana's birthday and, you know,
in Kentucky, we just called like meat and cheese boards, meat and cheese boards.
And we go to a restaurant and they're like, they're like, um, let's get a
charcuterie board.
And I was like, charcuterie board.
I was like, like cooter.
That's instantly where my mind went. And I was like, that is who to reward? I was like, like, cooter? That's instantly where my mind went.
And I was like, that is the ugliest word ever for meat
and cheeses.
Well, that's what it's called.
Oh, and then another time.
This is embarrassing, but that's funny.
So I will tell it.
I was at Craig's, which is like a fancy restaurant where
all the stars go here in LA.
We love going there.
Me and Michelle have been there just by ourselves many times.
But the first time, I think,
one of the first times me and Jacks were there
and I had ordered an artichoke.
I recently ordered a grilled artichoke.
You're like, how do you eat this?
How do you eat this?
So I'm over here.
Don't wanna figure out how to eat this thing.
Don't tell me you ate the whole thing.
Oh yeah, I was just chewing it up
No, I was just sitting there shopping on the artichoke. I'm embarrassed for you right now waiter
The waiter came over and was and was like ma'am
Let me show you how to eat this because I noticed they noticed that I wasn't doing the right way
Is that why the other day when I said can we we have grilled artichoke, you gave me this look?
Yes, because I mean, I know how to eat it now,
but like I had no clue.
I had no clue how to eat that.
And I had like S Cargo once and like bone marrow crap.
And I'm like, I'm like, never in my life did I know how
to eat any of that stuff or do any of that stuff.
So it's just so funny. Those stories.
You learn and you, you like it.
You learn and you like it. Oh my gosh. This is another funny story.
I remember when I first moved here, there was this girl named Kelly who was on Vanderpump rules
for like one season. She was just kind of like a background bartender. And I went to a dinner
with her and at this, I had no money.
Like I literally had like maybe $500 on my bank account, like nothing, because it was
all, every money I had saved up was gone as soon as I moved to LA. And I was still working
just like everybody. I was working at Hooters and I finally got started working at Sir.
So I was, you know, so struggling. I was taking out loans because I kept getting parking tickets and stuff.
So I took out a loan because I didn't wanna ask Jacks.
A lot of people don't realize that about me.
Like a lot of people thought that I moved here
and this was like leaching off of Jacks
and trying to like do this and do that.
Like no.
I am a hard worker.
I work all the time.
We don't wanna depend on men.
We wanna figure it out on our own.
Absolutely not.
And I'm actually, I like to take care of people.
So like in my past relationships,
I was always the one taking care of like my boyfriend.
Oh, I don't want to take care of anybody.
But I want to be able to take care of myself.
I'm such a nurturer and like a,
I've always just been that like motherly type, I guess.
Where like I would always take care of my boyfriend.
Even in high school,
I was taking care of my boyfriend,
getting their hair cut for him doing all this. You go girl. But when I moved to LA,
it was so different because I couldn't do that. I couldn't afford to do that. And Jax obviously had
more than me. Like without him, I couldn't have survived that first year because he was still
paying for our rent and stuff. So like, thank God I had that. But I remember going back to my Kelly
story, we went out to a dinner with this man that she knew and there was like a couple
people, like my friend, Mikey was there.
There was just like four or five people there, but he was ordering like the most
expensive champagne, Escargo bone marrow, like, like so, so much.
The bill came back and it was like $5,000 and I was flipping the hell out.
I was like, Oh my God.
Are they expecting us to put our car down? He is the hell out. I was like, oh my God, is he gonna think that? Are they expecting us to put our cards down?
I was freaking out.
Of course, he just took care of the whole bill.
I mean, he's the one who ordered everything,
but you don't know the fear that was inside of me
thinking that I was gonna have to put my card down.
And it wouldn't even went through, I don't think.
I'm like, denied.
Denied. But now that just made me think of that story, which I thought was hilarious.

This is from Steph Joe 0101.
Who of the ladies is the most dramatic?
Dramatic?
I would have to say Kristen.
She is very dramatic no matter what.
Yeah, she is, but she's great TV, I swear.
I know you're not.
I've heard she's great TV.
It's funny because I was friends with you guys
and I had never watched Band or Pop. And I was like, well, you guys are my friends.
It's kind of strange that if I like sit down every week and watch you on TV.
Yeah. Yeah.
So I thought it was better to not watch and they're like, don't you know Kristen?
And I'm like, no, what has she done?
Like no clue.
But she was amazing to me as a friend.
I know this season you and Kristen obviously have had your issues and everything.
So we won't go into details because you're gonna have to watch it on the show
but
Before that and just being like our close friends. You probably never thought Kristen would have been no drama. Yeah
I had no idea so loving and a great friend. Yes, and I would always post yeah
He's with Kristen and people would be like, oh my god. I can't imagine you guys friends
I'm like really why like her and Jack's just like know how to turn it on I think for like they're my God, I can't imagine you guys friends. And I'm like, really why? Like,
her and Jack just like know how to turn it on, I think.
For like, they're just, they're just reality TV,
like made for reality TV people.
And they've been doing it a long time.
Yeah, a long time.
But you guys, like I said, I'm so proud of you guys
for how you all stepped up really,
because with that many new people on the cast,
like, yeah, we're going to introduce you guys,
but you all brought your own stuff to the show. It's not just like you all were like following us around.
I think so.
You know it's like it's amazing. Every single couple did amazing. Janet brought it. Nia
and Daniel brought it. You and Jesse brought it. Like it's just I'm so proud of you guys.
I'm so so proud. Okay. This is from hi.candy. Candice, who's your celebrity crush?
Oh my God, I have so many.
I have to narrow it down.
Oh gosh, I have a lot too.
Actually, Jesse always laughs because he's like,
you can't have a top three and then can like always change
it up and I'm like, yeah, you can.
Of course I can.
Yeah. You know, I love Harry Styles. I I'm like, yeah, you can. Yeah, of course I can. Yeah.
You know, I love Harry Styles.
I was gonna say, I already knew that.
I love him so much.
Liam Hemsworth.
Oh, he is hot.
Yes.
Anybody tall, athletic, handsome.
Hey, that's not top to a T.
Tall, athletic.
Me too.
But it does change.
So are those your top two?
Those are my top two.
They're both so hot.
I agree.
I think that Tom Hardy is so hot.
Yes he is.
Oh my God.
I fell in love with him on that movie
that they did with Reese Witherspoon.
Yeah.
Oh, I was like, why did she not pick him?
Like he was the one.
Like I would have so picked him.
But he's just like so hot in so many ways and I think that like gosh
Odell Beckham Jr. Is so hot. I mean there's so many
Keep it going Michael Jordan. I think he is so hot. I mean I could just like go on and on
Gosh, Austin Butler is hot too. Is that oh, yeah. I just got the gym too. Oh, you did?
That's my gym.
Woohoo.
I'm gonna have to come to the gym with you.
I keep inviting you.
Oh my gosh, that is hilarious.
Yeah.
I mean, there's more that we could go on, but yeah.
All those men that we just named are incredibly beautiful.
I think I mentioned Harry Styles so much.
I hope that I get to meet him.
You're like, that is my goal.
You're like, let's just say Harry Styles,
Harry Styles, Harry Styles, Harry Styles.
Hey Harry, you ever hear of this?
He is pretty cute though.
But I'm not like, he's a little too like.
What I like about him is like, I went to his concert
and he's a great entertainer.
Okay, yeah.
Like it's that whole thing.
See I like, mainly made like big shoulders, like tattoos.
That's why I say Liam Hemsworth. I just feel like that too.
That's why I say Liam Hemsworth.
Tall Australian.
The accent.
Tom Hardy has accent too and I was shook
because I did not know that he had an accent.
I was like are there amazing actors?
English actors?
I mean I'm like oh my god you're so hot.
Jacks already knows this so it's not like it matters.
Yeah, I mean, Jack, Jesse always knows
that my list is always changing.
Mine too.
Okay, we're gonna get into something serious really fast
because so many of you guys have been asking me
about Jacks and I and our relationship.
And I just think it's important to be real
and honest with you guys because our life is definitely,
we've shared so much of our life with you guys.
So I feel like it's, I don't wanna seem like I was,
I'm lying or anything like that.
So I think it's important for me to say this.
I know on my last podcast, I alluded to many marriages,
go through rocky times, but with all the speculation online
and stories running rampant,
I wanted to be transparent with you guys.
Yes, marriages in general are very hard
and I've had a particularly rough year
in mind this past year.
Jackson and I are taking time apart
and I made the decision to move into another home
to take some space for the sake of my mental health.
I won't get into too many details right now
because this is still very hard to talk about
and I'm taking things one day at a time.
I don't know what the future holds,
but right now my focus is on being the best mom to cruise.
And I love you guys, pray for us
and everything will be just fine.
We're good.
No matter what happens.
Yeah, sorry to end on a sad note,
but I'm so glad that you were here today, Michelle.
We had so much fun.
Thank you.
Otherwise, I just had to address that.
But I love you guys. Thank you so Otherwise, I just had to address that. But I love you guys.
Thank you so much for listening to When Reality Hits.
Michelle, tell them where to find you on social media.
Oh yes, Instagram, Michelle.
M-I-C-H-E-L-L-E dot s dot lally.
Woohoo!
All right, I love you.
Thank you so much.
Thank you.
All right, we'll see you guys next week.
Bye.
