Starting point is 00:00:00 There are some assumptions we have about life that are so deeply ingrained that we don't even realize we have them. I think that there is no evidence that the brain manufactures consciousness. To me, there's no question there's a gigantic revolution coming to this world. And I believe it's a revolution that's really been about 5,000 years in the making. We have been taught that our consciousness comes from our brain. That's the model that I was educated with in undergraduate school and in medical school. I no longer believe that. Here's the open secret, though.

Starting point is 00:01:13 could not only be possible, but they should be expected. This isn't a paranormal show per se. This all has extremely positive and potentially society-shifting implications. My name is Mark Gober. I'm the author of the book An End to Upside-Down Thinking. And in the first season of Where Is My Mind, I'm going to lay out decades of scientific evidence that will blow your mind. I interviewed world-leading experts, and that's who you'll be hearing from on the show.
Starting point is 00:01:40 I'm just here to try to help make sense of it. So, where is my mind? Maybe it's not stuck in our body. Maybe our consciousness exists independently of the body. Can you imagine? Subscribe to Where's My Mind on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcasts.
