Hello, I'm Sarah Marshall, and as some of you may have noticed, you're wrong about is five years old. We put our first episode out on May 2, 2018. It was called, very ambitiously, The Satanic Panic, and was 43 minutes long. And there's something very funny about both those things, and very funny and amazing about the whole ride that this has turned out to be. I thought I would read you the beginning of this journey, because we have that anniversary and we also have February 4, 2018, which is when I got an email from my co-founder and

very long time, very beloved co-host, Michael Hobbs, who wrote with the subject line, Quick Phone Chat, question mark, and then wrote, Hey, Sarah, can I give you a quick call sometime in the next few days? I want to pick you something to work on together, exclamation point. There's nothing like an idea that someone puts an exclamation point after. And that's what maybe explains the whole story for me. The show has brought many exclamation points into my life, and I hope yours. And to celebrate this amazing anniversary, I had an idea where I wanted to ask you, the

listener, what this show has meant to you. If it has never meant anything in particular much, then that's great too. But if it has reached into your life at a certain moment, if it's affected the way you look at things, if you have memories connected to it, I personally remember very specifically where I was when I listened to a lot of different podcast episodes, and it's kind of a way that I catalog the seasons of my life and have a cabinet of memory. The question, what has your wrong about meant to you is very broad, but that's what I want it to be because I think it can be a whole lot of different things, and I want to hear

about them. So if you feel moved to share something with us, we would love to hear from you and you can send a voice memo using whatever kind of basic voice memo software you have. The iPhone comes with a voice memo app. That's what I have used since I began needing to record myself years and years ago. That or whatever equivalent makes sense for you, but make us a voice memo maximum length about two minutes.
