You're Wrong About - We’ll be back next week! (And a tour update!)

Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey everybody, I'm Sarah Marshall and you are expecting a new episode today, but I'm here to tell you about how you are going to get one next Monday and why that is. We are behind schedule on our episode production because we have just spent the last week having an amazing tour. I know some of you saw we had a West Coast tour announcement a few weeks ago. Some of you bought tickets. Some of you were at these very shows and it turned out that it was amazing and to me the good news is that we are coming for your city whether you like it or not. We were lucky enough to be joined by Chelsea Weber-Smith who you may know as a guest on some wrong about episodes including most recently the Donner Party as well as Miranda Zickler who you

Starting point is 00:01:02 may recognize from the credits as one of our wonderful editors and they were with us in Portland and Seattle and in LA and San Francisco we were joined by Jamie Loftus who brought a hot dog eating competition element to the program and if you haven't been to a live podcast show that didn't involve competitive eating then like where have you been? If you were in the audience for one of these shows if you were able to come thank you so much for coming. These were our first ever live events as a podcast aside from a singular moment in 2019 when Mike and I performed a sort of truncated live episode at XOXO which is accessible in this feed it's on Janet Jackson and the quote wordrobe malfunction but aside from that this was the first time that we had tried to do anything

Starting point is 00:01:59 bringing the experience of the podcast to you in a live setting and trying to translate the show to something that could happen on a stage and my feeling about it was I don't know I don't know how it's going to go I hope it goes well and it was amazing I'm so happy we did it if you came I'm so happy you came if you thought about coming I'm so happy you thought about coming and we want to do more of these we want to continue to spread whatever it is that we're spreading hopefully joy definitely a lot of slime these involved slimings and we are going to have a brand new episode for you next Monday on online shopping which I am extremely excited about because as you can imagine this relates to my life and probably yours so once again thank you so
